I bought a bedframe from Ikea and it has been an absolute nightmare. As I have read through a lot of these reviews I realize I am not alone, however, my frustration is heightened by the fact that I am currentlt 8 months pregnant with no supportive bed and have been sleeping on our sleeper sofa. I digress. From the beginning of this ordeal there have been nothing but problems. What started off to be a seemingly easy return is not a week and a half in without any unforeseeable resolution. Daisa was my CSR the first time I called and stated that I had two options. I could return the frame or schedule pickup. We live 2.5 hours from a store so pick up was most convenient. Daisa stated I would have my shipping labels the next day and I would get a phonecall from the pickup team to schedule. No problem. The next day came and nothing. I called IKEA back only to find out Daisa had scheduled FEDEX pickup for the slats but no pickup order was in for the bed itself. The next lady put that through. I got a call from STI the next day and said theyd be in town to pick up between 11 and 3. Told them my hubby doesnt get off work until 2. They said that wouldnt work EVEN THOUGH they said theyd be in town until 3. They called again with the same hours. Told them it wouldnt work. Called again this time with 12 to 4. I told thdm again after 230 pm. AGAIN THE SAID THAT WOULDNT WORK. Do you not provide weekend or late evening pickups for your customers?! I cant be given a refund unless IKEA has the actual piece of furniture. Its almost like they have purposely set it up this way to discourage people from returning their faulty merchandise. I will never buy anything from IKEA out of my pocket again. This has been the most aggravating and frustrating customer service experience ever.

Item was stocked in the wrong area noticed based on the amount total that it seemed wrong after review of the receipt asked the cashier if I he could fix the problem and he stated that I had to sit in another line to return the item and then grab the correct item. After a 15 minute wait the return lady was extremely rude and she then said I can go grab the correct item and purchase not that any of the 6 other employees could grab it! Then upon return with thre correct item had to wait again since she was assisting another customer while I was gone for 3 minutes. When asked I expressed by discontent she said I should have "balled-out" the cashier that she was trying to help me!!! Didn't know that was customer service or help!!

Worst customer service experience of my lifetime. They delivered the wrong sink, and after two weeks and 8 hours on the phone, I still don't have the right sink. What is worse, they won't tell me when I may get it.

I was making this trip by myself and had a number of items. I bought a bag to carry the items to my car. My problem was with the cashier. She was not very friendly or helpful. It took me a few minutes to open the bag I had bought. Then the items were beyond my reach to put in my bag. She was ignoring me and ringing up the next person. The little bit it saves not to help the customer, is not worth it. Customer service should be number one priority. Also, I signed up for the "family card" and it wouldn't work at the kiosk. Didn't scan and kept saying my email and password were incorrect. Very frustrating store.

Failed Delivery...Instead of setting up a new delivery date while thy have you on the phone they insist you call back to arrange...Well its been three days of trying to get to a live person to do this, first day on hold for 22 minutes Monday June 12th, then called back on Tuesday June 13th another 18 minutes and nothing...I am running a Renovation company, so not convenient to sit on phone, as I can't answer calls coming in...TODAY WEDNESDAY...I have been on the phone waiting for 47 minutes and STILL HOLDING ON WAITING....REALLY, this is INSANE CUSTOMER SERVICE...ALL to get a new Delivery date??????????????

I am only giving one star because I have to in order to write something. I inquired with IKEA support over a month ago about purchasing new brackets for my King Size frame that I purchased from a family friend. During my move from house to house I lost the two brackets that hold up the main support of the bed, now I am sleeping on the mattress on the floor. When I go to look up the parts to order new ones I was asked if I new the part number, which since I bought from a second party no I did not. I was told I would receive a call from a rep within 5 -7 business days on 5/6/17, it is now 6/14/17 and I have heard nothing. I have since purchased a new bed and will no longer shop or deal with IKEA.

I have been an Ikea customer for over 25 years and have put together over 50 Ikea items and been happy with their furniture and assembly instructions. The parts have always been in the package and the company has been great about replacing lost parts that were my fault. My complaint is with their delivery service. I ordered a bed in early February and had it delivered at a very high price for that service. it was delivered later in the month. I had the delivery guys put the bed packages in the guest room, but but the items were very heavy and I did not check until today when I planned to put the furniture together. When I unpacked the very last bottom box, I found the headboard had a big punched hole in it through the package. Of course they put it on the bottom so I did not notice the damage at the time of delivery. I guess it is my fault for not checking each box as it was brought in or taking the boxes apart at the time, but I had high expectations of Ikea. I have been on the phone for over 2 hours today and have yet to speak to anyone. I keep hearing the wonderful ad for deliver over and over again. Oh it is so convenient and easy, but they do not say how crappy their delivery service is. expensive and careless.

The instructions on your products are great very easy I have bought a lawn mowers and a petrol stimmer from screew fix the instructions were rubbish compaird to yours

I ordered a bed for my daughter they said it would be delivered on Monday then they said the truck was late it'll be delivered on Wednesday now they're saying the truck broke down and they can't deliver it until sometime next week period I'm canceling my order but I can't reach anyone on the phone I have waited over an hour and still haven't reached anybody in the last 3 days. That's awful service and terrible customer service hire some more people.

Dear Ikea Team, I had made a very bad experience with your delivery guys. We paid 150 Euro for delivery service. We just had renovated our flat with a 5 days new wooden floor. Friendly asked to take of the shoes or to put some underlays (like carton) on the floor, unfriendly the denied both. They did not try to solve the problem and (I am not kidding) the drove away without complete the service. I am very angry, its an unprofessional and not competent way of delivery service. I am so disappointed with IKEA(Long Island, NY). I bought a three door BRIMES wardrobe and when I was trying to build it, two of the boxes had duplicate pieces so I obviously gave them a call and a really nice lady told me I was going to get a call the next day letting me know when they were going to mail me the missing parts and so I received a call the next day (Wednesday) and the lady told me I'd be receiving my pieces by Friday.. Friday passed and so did the weekend and nothing was delivered to my house, I gave them a call on Monday and they apologized and stated they had JUST received those pieces so they were going to give me a call the next day to inform me when they were going to mail it to me. Tuesday came and I NEVER received a call so I called them and spoke to someone named Anthony that sucks at customer service btw, did not even apologize for my troubles and he also told me they had JUST received the items to the store and they were going to mail it to me through FedEx and he was going to call me back with the tracking number, also offered me a $25 gift card.. I can't even buy a good lamp with $25 wth is that? Anyways, Anthony never called me back and so I was so fed up two weeks passed by since I bought it and I still hadn't built my wardrobe. So I called the next day and spoke to a nice gentleman and he gave me the entire wardrobe that I had to go pick up because I obviously don't trust their messy customer service anymore. When I picked it up I happened to run into Anthony who still didn't apologize and asked me if I needed help bringing it to my car (I'm a 130 lbs girl) and I said yes please and he answered with "oh I can't but you can ask someone outside". When I went outside and asked someone, they said they would go to my car and helped me and after 10 minutes passed by nobody came and I had to put it in my car ALONE! The guy never came to help me. Anyways, Today (a week after), I received a call from IKEA asking me what pieces is it that I was missing so they can mail it to me... I have NEVER been so disatesfied with their service. Extremely disorganized, bad customer service, you guys need it to get it together cause to be honest, you guys suck!

FAT CORPORATE SLOT AND GREED IS EVIDENT.... they sell chairs not made to sit on the floor without legs... and do not tell you. When you call and try plead your case that driving to San Diego Ikea and subsequently buying legs for your chair, followed by a trip to their new "pick up" center 6 miles away is not acceptable (eg. let me pay for them over the phone and have Ikea ship them to me) they say it is impossible. So after 25+ years of being an Ikea customer and spending $10's of thousand of dollars outfitting investment homes with Ikea kitchens.... we are done. They can save their $17 on the legs that should be included with the chair and I'll save the grief of ever shopping there again. I'll also save our corporation and family members the grief by forbidding anyone from ever making a purchase at Ikea again. Ikea, like most larger corporations these days has a false jingle of "having a positive impact on people". They follow the Trump motto, the Enron motto, the Bernie Maddoff model... exploit and lie to increase profit. Hey Ikea.... F you! Tim von Zweck
