Waiting around two days in a row for a delivery that did not show up. Terrible experience. No Idea when my order will arrive as the number Ikea gave me goes straight to voicemail.

This is my VERY FIRST & LAST time purchasing anything from IKEA. I purchased a glass cylinder vase from IKEA & it arrived to my home TOTALLY SHATTERED. How STUPID, LAZY & IRRESPONSIBLE is it to pack a GLASS VASE with absolutely no stickers, no stamp, no writing, NO NOTHING, to indicate the contents of the delivery box are FRAGILE, and to pack a GLASS VASE with only ONE PIECE OF SHRIBBLED UP BROWN PAPER & no protective material INSIDE the box whatsoever to protect the vase from damage while being handled & while in transit. I will definitely be requesting a refund & will never EVER purchase anything from IKEA again.

Poor Service, Inadequate Communication & Unethical business tactics. Worked with kitchen planners in early August. Partial installation took place September 27th-30th. One wall cabinet was missing. All is resolved on 10.3. NOW Ikea is quoting a 11.3 -5 appointment to finish the job. What is unethical is that they withdrew the balance of the payment on 9.30!!!! How is that fair/ethical even possible? I will NEVER order kitchen cabinets from Ikea again and will warn all not to do so as well. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing and you are left out in the cold /trying to do it yourself. Installation, not including cabinet costs was $2.1K - this is exorbitant considering that it was 2 wall and 4 base cabinets at those prices one should receive better service. Very Very frustrated and Disappointed. NEVER AGAIN

The Kansas City IKEA is horrible. It’s a maze! Once you get inside the only way out if you don’t buy anything, is thru an emergency exit with a sign on it that says no exit alarm will sound. Beware

We bought an IKEA Hemnes Guest bed. It is the third one I assemble including one in my house in Spain, one for my sister, and this one. This last one has come with the problem that, once assembled, only four of the eight wheels touch the floor. This makes the trundle bed be in a higher position and impossible to slide it inside the main structure, unless lifting the whole thing so it won’t touch the floor either. We are so afraid the bed will break that our daughter is sleeping in the floor until the problem is sorted. After three weeks, IKEA hasn’t contacted me back, despite several promises and an email they asked me to send with pictures and explaining the whole problem. I have to call them everyday and they promise they will contact back. It never happened. They verbally admitted that it should be a faulty item, but they only offer me as a solution me to un assemble the bed so they will collect it, and then they would deliver a new one that I have to assemble again. No guarantee that the new one won’t come with the same problem. They don’t take any responsibility for the lack of response, for m selling a faulty item, or bringing a better solution that doesn’t imply throwing away a new bed (very environmentally friendly and sustainable!) They even asked me to pay for someone to assemble it, but they won’t pay that cost!!! I bought one of the most expensive items in IKEA and this is how they treat their customers. Shame of you IKEA. I will make huge efforts to let everybody know what kind of customer service you provide, and how unreliable you are. Nowadays you have many competitors that for the same price they provide a better product and service. Have spend almost £400 in a faulty product that puts my daughter at risk, so she has been sleeping on the floor for more than three weeks, and they don’t provide any help nor take any responsibility.

Had not been to Gateshead Ikea for years and won't go back. Terrible service and Customer Services are not even interested. Never seen anything like it when the customer in front of me decided to pay cash. Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys, M&S etc., would simply fold if they went on like this. On top of this, I had to walk almost half a mile for 2 items. Save yourself some stress, shop elsewhere, you have been warned.

Ikea is the most unorganized company when ordering for delivery. Ordered a shoe cabinet. Told there were 6 in stock. I was given a delivery date and time. They charged my card within minutes. One week later no cabinet and no update. Called them and they tell me it was never in stock but on backorder. Now to get a refund they say it will take 7-10 business days. Thats BS. How can they charge my card in minutes but it takes 7-10 days for a refund. Very poor operation. Would not order again from IKEA.

No delivery on due date, no update, no replies to all my emails of enquiry, no answer after waiting for 35 minutes on their customer service line ....several times. I'm completely in the dark about what to do next. Goodbye to £600??? Shocking behaviour for such a big company

I got 6 different Emails from Manuel Harvy at CRST, the place that delivers for them, and they never showed... in the meantime I am out almost $1500 in lost wages from the days off I missed waiting for them and have to go find another piece to fill the spot I was buying IKEA for I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN !!!!!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't say this lightly they have been totally useless other than one employee who helped us design our kitchen and even then we are a year down the line with no kitchen and he is powerless to help. Contact with them is non existent have spoken to a Manager after over an hours wait on the line on a couple of occasions and then nothing comes from it with no follow up contact. I have sent numerous emails with details that get ignored and have received nothing back from my email of complaint what's so ever. One would think communication would be key to a trusted company. To say we are frustrated is an understatement.

I ordered the Alexa file, which does not accommodate standard U.S. hanging files. The display unit did not include the IKEA hanging files to show me what I needed to buy. And of course, the files are current out of stock and I live 45 miles away from the store.

Really unhelpful customer service. Their return system doesn't work and they are not willing to even send a barcode, which should be in the email they send, but isn't. Now I'm stuck with faulty goods.

One of the biggest brand with worst customer services, they sent 3 brown drawers and 3 white drawers instead of All white and later asked third party to come and dismantle the half product which was installed before unpacking the brown drawers. They took months and finally I have to come personally for replacement and still there is no cooperation.....pathetic services.

I ordered a shelf unit and 5 inserts delivered. The inserts were delivered, but the shelf unit was not. I called Ikea to be told that the item was backordered. No one called or emailed to tell me this. The rep told me they don't notify customers anymore. They don't know when it will be in stock. Obviously the inserts are useless without the shelf. It will take 2 weeks to get my money back. BEWARE - when you order online, it does not come from your local store, even though the order process makes it seem like it does. Just because it is available in your store does not mean it is available in the distribution center. What a waste of time.

Go to hell Ikea! I was waiting for a Linnmon table top replacement for 2 months and twice they got my hopes up that it will be delivered but they cancelled twice and was refunded. I tried to order it again only but these fuckers want me to pay a $129 delivery fee for a $8.99 item! Go To Hell Ikea!!

If I could rate 0 star I would. I had a warranty case that was approved online. When I finally returned the item. They had the item in the store for three weeks with no resolution. When I finally spoke to some one they mentioned they have been trying the reach me on a different number. Yet they had my email and could have sent me an email. They are totally unfair because they took the item and refuse to supply the replacement.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your money with this place been waiting for my delivery for a month and a half .I order my stuff on June 26th and they said it would be deliver on July 30, so I waited they said it was on the truck 9 stops away, never made it , they change it for the August 1, they said should arrive is 20 stops away they change the date for t August 3, they said truck broke down that is bs , so they changed it again for today August 13th no call or email just kept me waiting again. My husband called customer service the lady was very polite but again she didn’t know when I will be getting my delivery. What I don’t understand is as soon as you purchase something they take your money and yet they know you are not getting your merchandise any time soon .WORST COMPANY EVER. Now let’s see how long to get my refund. Pay a little more somewhere else at least you now you will be getting your merchandise.

Would not give a single star, except in order to vent, I am forced to give at least one. ikea does not deserve any stars imho. Grillo pan is cheap a8i49 junk do not order it. Teflon coating peeling off making it extremely dangerous to use. Took three phone calls, more than 45 mins on hold - then abruptly disconnected without speaking w/human. Are there any humans that work at ikea customer no-service?? Finally got thru on live chat-took hours of trying. Prince was useless, even with as much info as I could give him, he was incapable or unwilling to look up an order via name, address, phone, email ... are you kidding me. What kind of low budget company is this that csr cannot find an order using a customer name? For 15 minutes I begged Prince to get a supervisor involved; he reluctantly got Anvish to help. Anvish made me go thru the same agonizing questions as Prince, it was worse than pulling teeth with out medication!!!!!!! The goal was to be as annoying and obtuse as possible and both Anvish and Prince get the award for that one. Finally, after almost 90 minutes of hair pulling, gut wrenching, excruciating back and forth repetitive chat, Anvish agreed that a credit would be issued. BUT, he could not provide proof via email, could only give a case number that may or may not be legit and it would take 7 to 14 business days ( meaning in real time it would be 3 weeks ) If ikea is so inept that they are unable or unwilling to process a customer refund in a timely manner, they should shut their doors. I for one will never spend another penny with them and will let any and all know the corporate policy on refunds is to hold you hostage on the chat for as long as you will tolerate it and to hang up on you multiple times on the customer no-service line hoping you just give up. Shame on you ikea, you need me, I do not need you!!!!!!!
