“I love my linen beyond measure and ordered some for myself after moving to the UK cause no one does it better. I simply think $100 is a bit steep for intl. postage in the context of also being required to pay for customs fees on my end.”

Hello Michelle, Thank you so much for taking the time to send through your feedback. We truly appreciate it all, the good and the bad! This is the nature of French Flax Linen to be a little rougher however we do stonewash our products to help this process :) Stone washing is a traditional and artisanal way of softening the fabric naturally. We do this by placing your lovely linen sheets, in their raw and scratchy form into a large machine with hundreds of pumice stones inside, the machine then spins your sheets and the stones around to make sure that the pumice stones come in consistent contact with the fabric, softening it so it can be ready to sleep on. This is a natural and more environmentally friendly way of ensuring your sheets are ready for you to sleep on as opposed to cheaper and more common chemical enzyme washes. If you give this linen a few extra washes to speed up the softening process this will assist :) Warmest, I Love Linen team

“I bought a set of Q sheets and really like them! But they were marked 20% off, then just a few days later, there was a 40% off sale. I inquired about getting a "price adjustment" -- common in my experience from good retailers -- and they dithered. I asked again, and they said they'd do it, and would pass my request and description of good cust. svc, including price adjustments, on to the management. Hopefully they have done so and will implement a specific price adj. policy that anyone can seek if they meet the criteria. Responsive, yes, but not without more prodding by me.”

“I already have some linen sheets and love them, but was impressed by the gsm of these, at 170 gsm, the perfect weight, apparently, to last for a long time. Time will tell. I bought Clay in Queen and have washed them twice prior to using. They're nice and soft, and a beautiful color. I know I'll love them on the bed. BUT: two ideas for improvement: At this price point, please make the hem on the top sheet at least 3-4" wide. It looks so much better, rather than cheap. Also, please offer open ended pillowcases: I really HATE the pocket type --they must be ironed to even sort of lie flat, and you can only sleep on one side of the pillow because the pocket flap is on the other side. My pillows are about 26" long, normal size, and I LOVE having a long open flap to drape on the bed. Or offer both types and see which kind people prefer . . . !! Otherwise, I'm expecting elegant comfort and great appearance! More stripes please; in more interesting stripe patterns. I'll buy more if I can!”

“It was great that I could get free fabric swatches, as this made it much easier to decide on a colour for my quilt cover. I went with desert rose, and I love the texture of the linen. It does look more orange than I was expecting, with barely any trace of the rose I could see in the sample. But at least it is the right tone for me: not too dark, not too pale, and with plenty of warmth. It remains to be seen how well it washes and wears over time, but this is a great quality, beautiful product which I expect to enjoy for years to come.”
