“I was happily impressed with the coverage report I received for Industrail Scripts. I had been a little concerned with the service while waiting for the report as I took the maximum 3 weeks to receive it and it seems as though the website hasn't been updated for quite a while. That said the reader clearly had significant experience reading TV scripts. They had a clear understanding of the intention of the script at every level and I was happy to know that elements such as the theme were coming through. The reader gave insightful and actionable feedback on every aspect of the script and highlighted a clear line of improvement to focus on for the next draft. They also seem to enjoy the script and detailed the reasons why they though it was working well, which was just as useful and the actionable feedback. Again it was invaluable to me to know that my intentions with characters and plot points were coming through to the reader. I would be happy to use the service again, however they need to have an internal messaging service for clients - which I think at the time was not functioning.”

“Reader is very astute and demonstrated an excellent knowledge of DELBERT GETS TALL. Reader knew the story, characters, and had great recommendations, all of which I intend to implement in my rewrite. The reader's comments about what directors/producers want when they read were spot on. He/she is clearly very intelligent and savvy. Michael”

“this is the second project I have had IS provide coverage on. Both got different readers. With both, it was obvious that human readers engaged in a full read and provided thoughtful insights. For this project, the coverage resulted in precise identification of issues that I was able to resolve before submitting to an upcoming festival. Definitely would recommend. Thanks, IS.”

“The notes were specific, constructive and insightful. The reader's first blush impression assisted in guaging the stories impact. “There are notes, and then there are notes. Industrial Scripts provides excellent, actionable coverage that serious writers should consider. There is a ton of coverage available. Why Industrial Scripts? It's all in the details. They reference page numbers, dialogue, specific action moments, and suggestions on improving the scene. The notes are tough but fair. As a result, my script has been taken to the next level. After all, isn't that what notes are all about? Andrea Park - Max and Sam Save The Galaxy!!”

“I got the best coverage I ever received from Industrial Scripts. Not only was it constructive, with actionable notes but I really felt a connection with the reader. They were very personable in the best possible way. I had clear direction for a rewrite and everything just gelled. Can't recommend I.S. enough. Only one little drawback. It's impossible to contact them! I have create tickets and they don't respond. I've tried to email but I don't think there is one. Other than that, everything's stellar!”

“My review might be a bit bias because I recieved such a positive reader's report! But either way, the notes covered everything from plot, character, and dialogue to pacing, tone, and formatting. All notes were insightful, specific, and above all helpful - the suggestions work! The only thing I had hoped was a synopsis (this used to be provided but it's been a while since I availed of Industrial Scripts' expert service). The report was so strong I am confident I can now submit the script for a forensic examination. Yours, Steven Benedict”

Editor flagged a few important areas that I had missed, and overall gave a very thoughtful understanding of the themes, character arcs, and motifs that were woven in. “This was the first time in the last few years I've used Industrial Scripts, having fallen away from writing for a while. The script I submitted was a comedy - something that can be extremely subjective. The script was delivered on time, as always, and contained a lot of helpul advice. The notes were detailed and very impressive. The reader certainly understood what I was trying to do and was very insightful, especially concerning one character who they said, wasn't sympathetic enough and the reason for her being the way she is, wasn't explained. After reading through this and some other notes I read through the script again and I couldn't fault this reader. They helped me see the things I hadn't noticed. I will use this information to improve the script and improve the grading. I love this script and will do my best to see it on the silver screen! The notes I received show how important it is to have someone like Industrial Scripts on your side. If you don't want an honest review, shop elsewhere. To quote Bill and Ted, "Excellent!"”
