“My first time selling a few unwanted items on eBay and had a few concerns when using the post office. The post office twice charged me incorrectly for medium sized parcels when in fact they were small items, and even when I pointed this out to them, they insisted it was a medium parcel. The next time I went to Royal Mail I stood my ground and insisted they measure my item - and it was small! The whole incident put me off Royal Mail, and coupled with having to stand in line for upward of 20 minutes and the service they offered wasn't exactly cheap either - they kept trying to flog me next day delivery for upwards of ?8-15 each time. And to have the parcel tracked meant the price just went one way - upwards!! So I went online and thought I'd give Interparcel a go. Wow - what a seamless service. I entered all the details of my item online, with the correct side dimensions and weight and then selected how fast I wanted my item to get there - I choose the economy service which guaranteed the item be delivered within 2 days. And as I had booked all this before 12 noon I was eligible for a collection from my own flat that very same day. It all seemed too good to be true. I paid the very reasonable price, printed off & attached the mail label and made myself a cup of tea. About an hour later there was a knock on my door and a nice gentleman from UPS collected the parcel, scanned it into the system and wished me a nice day. The following day I thought I would check out the tracking service and entered the tracking number on the Interparcel website and lo and behold the item had travelled across the UK through the night and was already delivered by 12:30! With a signature display of proof! I really cannot fault this service and I would urge everyone to give this a try before using the post office! So often in the Uk we put up with miserable service and rip off prices that I really can't praise Interparcel enough!”

“I have been using Interparcel for a few years now. Mostly, things run very well and I feel that they are good value for money and easy to use and book. They are also easily contactable by phone and the phone operators are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. There is usually not much of a wait before you are connected (usually less than 1 minute) In the time I have been using Interparcel, I have had two parcels damaged by couriers, both of which were re-imbursed by interparcel with a minimum of administration. Although when damage does occur, it is inconvenient, I must say that interparcel were fair and efficient. Just to put this into perspective, this is two out of hundreds of parcels I have sent. The only outstanding criticism, is that occasionally, some of the couriers don't turn up on the appointed day, but it is probably fair to say that this happens with all couriers occasionally, ( because of traffic problems, large workloads etc) Generally I am very pleased with Interparcel.”

“We used to use these to send all our parcels but then got a snotty email saying that "car parts" wasn't good enough and that if it happened again they would cancel our parcel and refuse to ship for us again. (Twice..)”

“Courier Service excellent. However not so good when I requested the name of the recipient for my parcel as they said it had not been received. I emailed customers services on 7.3.14 asking for the name of the recipient. I was emailed a document from the courier with the signature which was totally unrecognisable. I then said I really wanted the name of the person who received the parcel. I was told that Interparcel would get back on to the courier and get the name. I am still waiting for a reply. As it happened I took the matter up direct with the company I sent the parcel to and resolved the matter. However I am disappointed that I paid for a signature which was unreadable. I suggest that the Couriers in the future also write down the name of the recipient.”
