The most frustrating delivery I have ever tried to receive! I have ordered an express delivery on Thursday to receive the parcel by 6pm Friday, and paid for SMS text to my phone notifying me on the time of the delivery. It was very important for me to receive the parcel next day! No text was received! I spent all day at home waiting for the delivery and by about 5 pm when I tracked the parcel online it stated "Receiver not home. delivery will be made at first opportunity". No evidence was left (delivery slip) that the courier attempted to deliver the parcel, plus I am absolutely sure that I would hear anyone trying to ring the door bell. By 5pm the customer service line was closed and I accessed online help chat. All they could tell me at this point is that there is nothing they could do and the delivery would make another attempt on Monday (unacceptable, absolutely no use for me). I was even willing to collect the parcel myself, if they would only tell me where it is. After multiple attempts trying to communicate to absolutely emotionless robotic people that do not care about you, but just sit there and answer with the same "sorry, there is nothing we can do", I contacted TNT directly. I was on hold for 30 min before I got through to TNT. However those 30 min were well worth it! A lovely employee answered me and completely understood my situation. My parcel was put aside for me to be collected. Unfortunately the depot was closing shortly so i had to get a taxi in order to make it on time. By the end of the day, I couldn't believe how much stress and money this delivery cost me! Will never use Interparcel again and will not recommend to use for urgent deliveries!

Hi Diana, I am sorry that you missed the driver. Unfortunately after 17:00 live chat is done from home so we do not have access to phones to be able to contact the carriers. I can see that the text was sent to the mobile number entered at 12:12 to advise it was out for delivery. I am sorry that you were not left a we missed you card and i will of course take this up with the carrier.

Appalling company. I ordered a bespoke item which was sent by the supplier last week. It was sent on a 24 hour delivery basis because the need for this item is urgent - its being unveiled at a school leavers ceremony, and was paid for by the hard fundraising efforts of 30 Year 6 students. On being delivered to the school, 1 of the 2 parcels had been damaged in transit and was rejected after the contents were inspected and had also been damaged. Now this kind of thing happens. I understand that. What Interparcel don't understand is that if something is sent on a 24hr service, the need is probably urgent. The item arrived at their Crawley depot about 16 hours after being returned, but was only booked in to their system 12 hours later when I called to check progress. As Im not the person that booked the delivery they would not deal with me - unfortunately the sender was away and hard to contact. I explained the urgency in getting the package back to the sender so it could be assessed / repaired (£300 bespoke bookcase) but nothing. Despite the sender also chasing, the package is awaiting inspection by Interparcel staff (whenever they decide to get round to it.) In the meantime the sender is making a whole new bookcase to be hand-delivered to us by the end of the week, but then he is someone who realises the importance of customer service. Luckily he had delivered the original item a week before our deadline so we should get it in time now. If it had not been for the sender we would have 160 disappointed kids, all because Interparcel do not understand the meaning of customer service. The 2 girls I spoke to in 'customer service' (heh) just quoted and requited standard procedures - they really couldn't care less. Funnily enough, when the sender chased them as requested by Interparcel he found exactly the same. Absolute shower.

Hi Andy, I have checked your order and can see that we received this back on Thursday. The claims team will be doing the inspection today on this and will then be in contact with the sender. I am very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience caused on this.

I booked a collection for Wednesday 8th July 2015. My preferred time was 8:00 to 15:00. Interparcel said that UPS was going to try and respect my time-frame, but that they could not guarantee it. They said that the UPS times for collection were going to be until 7pm for residential addresses. At 16:30 no one had turned up. I called the Interparcel help line. One of the operator said that the driver was late and that he was going to collect my parcels at 17:30. At 19:15 no one had still turned up. I then used the chat help line where Becky has been really helpful and professional in dealing with my anger. I had to rebook a collection where they cannot guarantee the collection itself or the time. If you can, do not choose UPS among the options available as it has demonstrated to be completely unreliable.

Hi Chiara, I'm sorry to hear your time request was not met - As you will find with most services, the drivers do not guarantee the collection slots as collections are always being added and their routes can change quite frequently. I can see my colleague has raise a complaint with the depot and rebooked this in for Friday as requested. We have also asked for collection to take place before 3pm for you - I hope this helps!

Hi Kate, I can only see a handful of orders for you and we've never been contacted regarding any issues. Upon checking this, I can see all were collected and delivered without any issues. Can you drop us a quick email with the order number so we can look into this for you? reviewus@interparcel.com

Terrible service, worse customer support. Could have had plenty of business from a 100-strong company, but will now be using other courier services that can be trusted.

Hi Nathan Riley, I have looked into this order for you and I can confirm the service you selected does not guarantee collection or delivery times. These are only a request with the couriers and they do not guarantee any times unfortunately. City Sprint did try and deliver the parcel on the same day of collection however no one was available to sign for the goods. I can see from the notes that my manager has emailed you with more information regarding the order. My hope is that you will choose to use our services in future, if you need any help or information please email help@interparcel.com and we will reply as soon as we can.

Booked an overnight courier with guaranteed before 12 delivery and paid extra for it. Since the parcel hadn't been picked up by the afternoon I phoned Interparcel to make sure this is happening. Was told everything is fine and it will be picked up. At this time I could still have driven to the post office and posted it from there! After a no-show my wife phoned the next morning and was told a pickup is not guaranteed, and it says so in the terms and conditions. Maybe so, but if I phone up to make sure because I still have other options then I expect it to happen! My wife then asked, according to your terms and conditions, the parcel could sit here for a fortnight? Reply: no, you would have phoned is by then.. End result: a very disgruntled customer, and we still had to pay extra for a much slower than anticipated service. Let's hope the parcel gets picked up today...l

Hi Andreas Doebereiner, I have called TNT about this collection and they confirmed that the driver attempted to collect this parcel at 11.29am yesterday however no one was home to hand the goods over. We are a self tracking service and are not made aware by the couriers if there is an issue and the sender needs to contact us so it can be raised straight away. TNT have confirmed that the collection will be made again today. If you need anything else at all, please email help@interparcel.com and I will reply to this right away.

No card was left behind after three delivery attempts and then the item was immediately returned to the sender. How was I supposed to know that they had tried to deliver the item if no card is left whilst im out! The tracking website contained inaccurate information saying that the item had been delivered when it hadn't. I contacted the customer service helpline who were very unhelpful. They said they would email me a break-down on what had happened to the parcel, but never did. They were rude, very dismissive and did not try to help resolve the problem at all. Do not use this service unless you never want to see your items again. I am very unhappy.

I used InterParcel to book a courier for a guitar I sold on ebay. The service was ParcelForce's 48 hours drop-off. I dropped the package off with ParcelForce, who later got back to me to say that they had no record of the booking - InterParcel had not booked anything. I contacted InterParcel at the weekend and gave them the direct number for the person at ParcelForce who had been so helpful. On Monday afternoon InterParcel got back to me and asked some questions about the package, what it looked liked etc. I responded with the details and called ParcelForce back who told me they were standing next to my guitar as soon as they answered - Inter Parcel clearly hadn't called the number I provided. On Monday evening I asked Inter Parcel to call me. By 4pm on Tuesday I hadn't heard anything so I called ParcelForce and booked directly. I have just put a request in for a refund from InterParcel. I certainly wont ever use InterParcel again. I recommend booking directly with a courier, or with another broker who doesn't charge 10p per minute for their customer service line.

I've used InterParcel maybe 10 times before - and about 40% of the time there has been an issue. The latest issue is that they have re-arranged collection 3 times now as the courier didn't bother coming to collect the parcel. The email responses from the heads of customer 'service' were bordering on obnoxious, and quite frankly, I'm seriously disgusted with the service and the manner in which I've been treated. I'd rather take a cheese grater to my eyeballs than have to deal with interParcel again.

Totally useless. Prebooked for collect a few days before collection and no one turned up. I emailed them the day after collection when the seller contacted me to say no one turn up, and they said they would collect on the same day, But no one turned up. Messaged the seller of the item I want collecting from, He told me his wife wasted a whole day waiting for the courier. I've emailed interparcel several times, only had one reply telling me it would be rebooked, I've heard nothing for the last 3 days. Messaged the seller again, Courier has not turned up at all?!.. I've received no more emails, or even had a call? Demanded a refund, Waiting for Monday for an answer, if not, I will chase my money back through my bank. Bad service, this is the second time I've had problems with this company. Beware!!!!

We have not had a problem until last week this is why now I am so shocked at interparcels customer service. Our company booked this order to be collected and delivered last week we have to give them a ref to quote on collection to release items, Interparcel said 'yes we will do this and tell the drivers to quote the ref', this however failed so we re booked same thing happened so re book and so on until they failed yet again. Today i called Interparcel as we are fed up with the failed collection and they said i quote ' It is not guaranteed that the driver will quote the ref although we scan these instructions to them ' ... But they failed to mention this when we paid for that particular service..... It was 'yes we can do that!' DO NOT USE INTERPARCEL .. This has happened to another order of ours again!!! TIP: Interparcel should look after their long term customers and do not be so rude when we have a problem!

What is the point of offering a tracking service when they can't track the parcel once it's left the depot. Sometime between 8am and 6pm is not good enough in 2014. Get a grip or get lost!

I paid ?50 for a delivery, I took a day off waiting for the courier to collect the package. The courier did not turn up, I called the customer service "Unfortunately there are no notes to show why this failed". They did not offer me any compensation, they just refunded the money and I wasted a day. Avoid them.

Having been using Interparcel for nearly two years I am switching to using soley UPS. After a string of disasters with them including theft of a parcel their customer service response is diabolical. A young lady answered the phone who muttered her name too quickly for me to catch. When I told her that ?400 of stock had been taken by a driver she had a couldn't careless attitude. I then demanded to speak to her supervisor who was a little pleasenter but equally as ineffective. Despite promises to call back they never did. Eventually I sorted the matter myself by speaking to the courier company and threatening to get the please involved. If I owned the company the first employee would have been sacked on the spot.
