item was collected as requested from courier and then after 3 weeks was informed by customer that it had not arrived. i contacted interparcel and was emailed back which i felt was a copy and pasted message which did not even answer my message, emailed another 3 times within 4 weeks and again same message which did not answer my original question about why it wasnt delivered or being sent back. after a month now still no further forward and basiclly now been told it is now classed as lost in there system and getting nothing for it. the customer care is frankly garbage and justseem to send preset answers no matter what you ask them as not one question was answered over the month...

Made a review earlier, had apologies and now today's booking hasn't turned up. I am not shocked, Interparcel is really struggling at the moment. Best to go elsewhere whilst they sort themselves out.

After being notified by the person who should have received the parcel I sent via 'Inerparcel', I sent a email to the so called customer service to find out what had happened to the delivery. The reply I received said, Thank you for your email, I have emailed Hermes to find out where this parcel has been left. Once I have had a response I will get back to you. I had to email again to, in effect nudge them, and in response, I received this message. 'Hermes have come back to me today to say that the driver left it in a safe place but cannot remember where. The driver is going back to the address today to see whether he can remember and they will let me know. That was sent on the 18th March. So I thought 18th March, the driver with Alzheimer's will get to the address on the 18th March and I will find out what happened to the parcel at the latest 19th March. Anyhow, six days and three email's later with no reply I was thinking that this driver has lost hisself now and I'm worried for his family, where can he have got to. Then on the 7th day, the 26th March I received a reply saying... ' I apologise, I have emailed Hermes to find out whether the driver is now able to advise where the parcel was left. Once I have had a response from Hermes I will let you know what they advise.' Has the driver returned from his epic journey I wonder, will he have his memory back, on the tracking information he noted that the parcel had been delivered to the letterbox (he would have had to chainsaw half the door off to get this parcel through the letterbox). The person who should have received the parcel has assured me there is no damage to his door. SHOCK!!! I received and email the next day 26th March. I couldn't believe what was said in it, but here goes..... 'Thank you for your email, Hermes have come back to me to advise that the driver does not remember where he left the parcel. I'm afraid that the service that you chose does not offer enhanced transit cover so we would be unable to process a claim for loss. But as a goodwill gesture I have refunded the transit costs to you, we do not normally do this but because the driver is unable to advise where he left it we will on this occasion.' All that says to me is, you paid for a service for us to collect and deliver a parcel for you, the driver has thieved it, you didn't pay for insurance to cover the theft, unlucky better luck next time. I've lost out on ?162 plus the transit costs if I don't get them back. So, I will now seek legal advice and take printed versions of the email's sent and received to interparcel. Hopefully I'll get a reply from someone in charge of this sham business with a reasonable offer before I go to the solicitors.

I completed two online bookings for delivery of 2 identical parcels containing 5000 fliers each. When the TNT driver failed to turn up to collect the items I contacted Interparcel to rearrange the collection date. The items were collected on the rearranged date for next day delivery by TNT but the recipient received just part of one box which had been re-sealed by TNT. Photographs taken by the recipient clearly shows the remains of a parcel that had been trashed and poorly taped up by TNT. Only 1840 fliers were received. I have not even received the courtesy of a call or email from Interparcel or TNT to explain where the 2nd parcel has gone. On top of that I have paid ?350 for these flyers to be distributed in magazines throughout Berkshire, and that?s non-refundable. This experience has been abysmal and costly, I need answers and compensation.

When sending an item in a hurry that is globally accepted as a safe and acceptable product to post, you are unlikely to check the fine print on whether or not an item is prohibited or not. Interparcel's list of prohibited items, far exceeds it's list of allowed items so be careful when sending an item through them. It is more than likely prohibited. My experience from start to end was frustrating. First with the collection courier who spoke to 3 different clients on the phone without acknowledging the client in front of him (me), to the less than helpful staff, who informed me 3 days later the parcel was damaged upon arrival at the first depot, but no matter since Honey is a prohibited item anyway and shouldn't have been sent. "Come and get it from us as we wont send it back", and finally the refund, that came 3 weeks later minus the domestic charges for collection and 3rd party courier to send it back. Overall, A company like this should not be allowed to operate.

I arranged a Saturday service delivery via INTERPARCEL with Citylink so that the receiver would be at home to sign for the item. Item didn't arrive at all, and was not carded. I had to contact Interparcel and was told the driver could not find the address and had returned the item to the depo. I told them i wanted the item to be delivered on a SATURDAY and expected the delivery to happen the following weekend. However they didnt listen and tried to redelivery the item on the Monday! No one was home, and tracking said the item had been carded. The recipient had actually not received a missed delivery card, so again i had no choice but to contact interparcel again - they said the item WOULD be delivered on the Saturday and apologised for the issues. Saturday came, item was not delivered or carded. It has now been two weeks, the item is still at the depo. I'm ?30 down (cost of service - which i have been told is non refundable!) and god knows whats going to happen next. APPALLING SERVICE! AVOID AT ALL COST!

**EDIT** (02/4/2014) Still full of useless excuses they cannot backup. Complete lack of empathy from these guys. (04/4/2014) Admitted error in the address on City Link side and issued a refund. After waiting 2 weeks and having the parcel sent back to me by city link torn open, they refused to offer a refund. First by lying, saying that I did not provide a receiver number even though their website forces you. Then by just stating the driver attempted delivery...he didn't deliver so how is that an excuse?

I am simply shocked by the utter unprofessionalism and complete lack of customer service I received from your stuff. I was hanged up on twice, one of your representative, Kirsty, simply closed the chat on me as she did not want to deal with my inquiry. I paid you ?21 to deliver my parcel to Belgium even though it was only ?15 via Royal Mail. I did not mind to pay you a premium as I was happy about my previous international delivery to Mexico. Apart from the above nobody bothered to pick up my parcel for 2 days!!, although the location was in Central London (W1). You should train your stuff what is the meaning of good customer service and hopefully I will be the last customer you have lost!!

I have wasted so much of my time trying to chase a parcel I have given up hope and decided to write a review instead. The service I have received is appalling. My package should have arrived yesterday, instead it is still sat in the shop where I dropped it off on Tuesday. I paid extra for a service to get it there on time yet it hasn't even left the shop yet? I have been in touch with you yesterday for most of the day to inform you that there were no tracking details even online. You failed to get back to me with answers. Today I found out the real reason is UPS hadn't even been booked as the package wasn't scanned. So if I hadn't of got in touch, my package would just be sat there (even though it still is sat there in the shop) All your customer services offer is "sorry" you haven't once thought about the fact you've messed me around and wasted the last 2 days trying to contact you and get some information out of you. You should be offering me an upgrade or a refund. Instead you said you won't give me a refund because its not your "company policy". You have just sent me an email to say you'll give me some money off my next package - are you having a laugh - do you really think i'd want to use your services again??? I still don't have the re-assurance from you that my package will leave the shop today. Your customer service is pointless - THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Interparcel sent my item with Ups, who apparently damaged the item. So it was then sent for investigation according to the tracking. Five weeks, six failed return deliveries, 30 emails and 12 telephone calls, Interparcel decided the item was now lost. Of course, damaged items that are restricted are better than lost items for the company, but of course they need to be returned and in my case they couldn't return it. Four days waiting in for the citylink courier (who were to return the item) and Interparcel were 'very sorry'. A court case awaits them.

Item was lost in transit and fobbed me off with excuse after excuse on why they couldn't pay out on any claim filed.

Dreadful company, dreadful customer service, nobody I've spoken to (5 people now?) is capable o returning a phone call and not one single person actually cares about what they do. Completely and utterly useless. AVOID!! (My parcels, 2 weeks late, got sent back and I still haven't received them or a refund for the service I paid for!)

Placed an order on the 18th of April, today is 25 of April, parcel is still not collected. Missed collection on the 22nd as was at work. (really stupid that it is not possible to book some specific time and you have to stay at home/office from 9 till 5 to make sure that they come and collect it.). Booked another collection on the 23rd from my neighbours address, but still driver tried to collect it from my address (really bad organised company, not capable to inform their drivers where to collect items from). Nobody even came on Thursday and today. Fed up with 'excellent' service, called and cancelled order. Will use different company, this one is absolutely useless... Just waisted my time.

I used to love Interparcel and campion them on eBay and to my colleagues as they always offered a good deal and if anything went wrong they went out of their way to make it right. This is now longer the case unfortunately. My latest experience will be my last. 3 days off work to send important documents. Three missed pick-ups even after contacting support to ensure collection would happen. Stock email replies (that sign off with "hope this helps", no but a parcel collection would!) and general apathy was the impression I got. I was refused a refund on the basis "We don't guarantee out collections". I argued " No this is just unacceptable service". No reply. I cancelled my order and did get a refund. Used RM in the end. I see on here that other are experiencing the same issue as me. Just avoid until things improve.

I booked a collection from one of our suppliers for delivery to us. The contents were a customer order. It was supposed to be next day delivery but the courier, although he attended the premises failed to collect our parcel. We were alerted by our supplier so I contacted Interparcel by phone and had the misfortune to speak to 2 of their customer service employees. Clearly these employees are unaware of the meaning of the term customer service. I had booked the collection to ensure that our parcel arrived by a specific date, due to the failure of the courier that did not happen which resulted in us having to discount the item to keep our customer happy so Interparcel have cost us money. The customer service desk did not seem to think this was an issue that they should be interested in. whilst they rebooked the collection (which was further delayed by the bank holiday) they had no interest what so ever in trying to make amends and hid behind "terms and conditions" stating next day delivery was the next day after collection, completely missing the fact that the collection had not taken place on the day it should! I emailed a complaint which was ignored, I tried facebook and was acknowledged and sent a second email which was answered. However the person answering the email either failed to read it so totally missed the point or was being deliberately obtuse. Who knows? They focussed on the fact that my delivery was further delayed by the bank holiday. That was not my complaint! When I book next day delivery I expect next day delivery, not next week delivery which is what I got! We have had an apology however, we are only a small business we cannot afford for other peoples failures to cost us money. We asked for a manager to contact us... guess what, hasnt happened. I will never use Interparcel again as clearly they are unreliable and unwilling to make amends when things do go wrong.

I am writing this after having phoned and chased Interparcel all morning (8th May - 14:08). My parcel was collected yesterday at 10:18am for a pre 9am delivery this morning. They managed to get hold of City Link (this is now after midday) and have been told that it hasn't even left the depot! Now, they can either get it to its destination tomorrow or return it with a full refund. Needless to say, the training event would have finished which is what the parcel was intended for. I have now asked for the parcel to be returned to me directly, so that I can post all the delegates their training material individually. It gets better. City Link have now said that they are having a problems with their tracking tickets and so don't know which depot its at or if it has actually gone out for delivery?! So effectively, no - one knows where my parcel is and is lost. I have tried to follow it up again and they can't phone City Link back apparently to chase up how far they've gotten, they have to wait for City Link to contact them. This whole situation is very unprofessional and unimpressive.

AVOID at all costs. Cost of service of no interest to me but having a trustworthy partner when booking a carrier to send items for a client is paramount. When a carrier fails to show yet again and after 1.16 minutes on a live chat with customer service I come away in tears, exhausted, beaten down into submission ... there is little point to a chat service who do not answer a query point by point, ignore the query and instead just quote something else which is irrelevant to the query at you. They demand you look at T&C, and when you do and ask more queries they get upset with you. fact is I booked a parcel collection for today at cost of ?118. Stayed up all night to complete order for client. Recd call to ask if parcel ready. I had booked for 4 - 6.30pm slot. This was 10am.. I said parcel still not ready would he still be coming at booked slot.. he said yes ... that was definitely a yes.. not NO. At 6pm I went online to ask live chat if courier still coming as still had no sleep for 24 hours. Was told don't contact them until after deadline has passed ie 6.30 6.34 I go back on live chat and ask where is he> Am told he will not be coming.. not a guaranteed collection service .. should have booked premium interparcel even though this is not available for this USA zip code delivery address. They will rebook for tomorrow so stay in all day . I explain I have to go to appointment at 11am that was why I needed collected today. No acknowledgement of this whatsoever.. instead just asked .. anything else! really ??? they eventually came next day at 4pm ! no apologies nothng ! Very unhappy, as the parcel was estimated to be delivered 12th

All looked good when I arranged for my parcel to be collected. But after waiting in all day for the courier to arrive, it was still sitting in the porch. There was no communication as to why it wasn't picked up. I phoned Inter Parcel the next morning and found the support staff to be bordering on disinterested. I re-arranged pick up and the parcel was eventually collected late on the the day it should have been delivered. The tracking number has not revealed anything other than "awaiting collection" from 6pm on the day of collection to 9am the following morning - so who knows if it will actually get there today. Way too much inconvenience and having to chase around with a company that is supposed to make sending packages easy. I will not be using them again.
