Booked collection using UPS Premium. Courier should have collected the parcel yesterday but no-one came to pick it up. Losing a day of work as parcel has been rescheduled to be collected today (hopefully?). Will request a partial refund and will need to apologise to the recipient expecting the parcel. Don't recommend.

Hi Claudio, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that the parcel has not been collected as expected. We have raised this with UPS to gain further information on why the collection failed in this instance. Once a response is received from UPS will we be able look into your request for a partial refund. I can confirm that collection has been rearranged for today.

Hi Karl, thanks for your feedback, I have located a few orders and all are using your email including a booking placed for todays date. From looking at this, we have not done anything to cause your emails to bounce. Could you provide more information about this to reviewus@interparcel.com so we can investigate the matter.

INTERPARCEL IS GOOD BUT THIS IS ABOUT PARCELFORCE!!!!! This is gonna be another waist of 5 minutes of my time but listen to this story! 3 parcel has been booked for next day collection anyone turned up?of course not...re-booked for next day.Geezer turns up then refused collection sayin if we are not taking them out to his van he will not take them.(parcels are inside an off licence shop) re-booked again for next day with a huge complain ...parcels are still here what a joke ey??? Promised myself a few times never again but still the cheapest service so i did it. Rather pay a little more to UPS from now they never missed a bit(so far).

Hi Norbert, thank you for your review, I would first of all like to apologise on behalf of ParcelForce, I can see see on the orders that we are currently investigating why the driver would not take the parcels to the van for you as he should have done so. This does reflect badly on Interparcel and we will do all we can to get this resolved for you. Hopefully we can provide the customer service to enable you to change your review to a higher star. Should you have any further queries, feel free to contact us on reviewus@interparcel.com and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Interparcel is a company in terminal decline I have used Interparcel for a few years now, and until a couple of months ago was very happy with the service they offered. Then recently I booked a collection on a Friday for a document to go to Spain. I chose Fed Ex as they were reasonably priced and a known company. Friday no-one arrived to collect, I contacted Interparcel who said they would re-schedule for Monday. Saturday morning Fed Ex arrived to collect the document. Then they called again on Monday to collect a document they had already collected. This time I didn't choose Fed Ex (sorry Fed Ex) as I thought they were not reliable. I booked a collection for the following Monday. My mother waited in all day - nothing. So I contacted Interparcel. They apologised and arranged another collection for Wednesday. Again my mother waited in all day – nothing. So again I contacted them, and again they apologised, and told me they had arranged ANOTHER collection for Friday. As my mother is going into hospital on Friday I told them to cancel and refund my money – which they have done. Forget the two wasted days, but why didn't the courier collect on Tuesday or Thursday, or perhaps Interparcel forgot to book the collection at all. If you want a reliable service DO NOT USE Interparcel!

Hi Pam Bates, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry you experienced failed collections with Hermes. Unfortunately the driver had technical fault with the handheld device, I can confirm this matter has been addressed to ensure this does not happen again in the future. Once again I am very sorry for the problems on this occasion and for any and all inconvenience caused.

Shocking service. The tracking service showed my parcel had been delivered which it hadn't been. So I rang customer services and enquired about it they said they will me ring back but they didn't. So I called three hours later and was informed my parcel had been delivered to the wrong address and would be rectified that same day. Never heard anything from them since..........................................................................

HI Jamie, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your order is in dispute. Unfortunately the carrier has charged us due to the dimensions being different to the ones booked. Due to this we have passed the charged to you. I can only apologise for the frustration that this order has caused.

You smashed my package which was bad enough, but having taken out "enhanced" transit cover as a precaution, I fail to understand why you will not compensate me for the damage that was caused whilst it was in your care. The Consumer Rights Act says clearly that you must use "reasonable care and skill" ... unbelievably you say that you did and that it's my fault because not enough cardboard was used. The rack flightcase that you smashed is of the type routinely used by field technicians to protect kit over prolonged periods ... the truth is that may package was dropped from a height, the only way such damage could have been caused .... "Reasonable care and skill" is what the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says, no mention of cardboard. P.S. how many parcels do you accept into your system that aren't entombed in multiple layers of cardboard?? The"enhanced" cover is just a scam for you to charge more for your extremely shoddy service ..

Hi Mike, Thanks for your review. Checking the order, I can see the claim was refused as the item itself was not damaged. The flight case that was damaged was what the goods were packaged in, as this was not boxed, we would not cover for damage to the flight case itself. Should you have any further queries, please contact us on reviewus@interparcel.com and we will respond as soon as we can.

Hi Miss S, Upon checking the order number supplied, I can see the goods were collected on the selected collection date and delivered within the transit times. Is this review in regards to a seperate order? If so, could you send the order number to reviewus@interparcel.com and we can investigate further for you.

After 2 separate days of not collecting my parcel I ended up going to post office and paid double. They sent a Waterfords Windows and conservatory van to collect 4 days after agreed date. I couldn't believe my eyes. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY they don't care at all and nobody in the office at weekends so your screwed if you have a problem.

Hi Karen, Thanks for your feedback and first of all let us apologise for the issues surrounding this order. I can assure you that a complaint has been send to your chosen courier Hermes about the non collection. In regards to the van that turned up, with Hermes they do have self employed drivers who use their own vehicles for collections and deliveries, they do not have company vans. Do let us know if you have any further queries.

I shipped 3 acrylic point of sale systems with inter parcel as I've used them for years now without a problem. Yet after this experience I won't be using them again. I will stick with the post office! This item was shipped and the additional cover was paid (£20) to cover me up to £1000. The item arrived damaged due the driver throwing parcels around his van all of which was not only witnessed by members of staff but also caught on cctv. As a result of this my item arrived damaged to my customer. I have supplied all of the information requested I.e images of box, wrapping invoices etc etc. Leanna initially told me this claim would be resolved as quickly as possible after hearing how the driver had handled not only mine but other customers parcels and that this had been reported to the courier. I then receive a reply from leanna stating that the screen is glass and they don't cover for glass therefore I'm unable to claim which is a fair point as they don't cover for glass. Yet the damage has been caused to the acrylic which isn't glass and as acrylic isn't on there list of prohibited items then I can claim. Leanna then states it's no longer being classed as glass now (how convenient) yet it's now classed as a monitor which is also a prohibited item. A touch screen "acrylic" point of sales system isn't classed as a "glass" monitor as these are two completely different things that's serve two different purposes? so each time I reply with an answer they just categorise it as something else so they can work there way out of paying up. As explained to leanna all of this information, images, cctv, emails etc will also be forwarded onto there MD, YouTube (cctv) and watchdog as this is completely unacceptable to treat customers in this manor. They take people's money (additional insurance fees) then throw items around the van to break them and then refuse to pay out when caught red handed. I can't believe that faced with such compelling evidence I'm still being refused to make a claim. I would avoid this company as when you look at there prohibited items honestly without sounding dramatic every item in the world other than air is on that list! I am now out of pocket having to refund a customer and having a damaged pos system retured to me for the bin.

Hello, sorry to hear you have had such a bad experience and your item was damaged. We are not a fragile courier service which is why such items are sent at your own risk and cannot be claimed for if damaged. I am sorry it seems the driver miss treated your item I will make sure a complaint is passed across to the courier regarding this.

I wanted a Saturday delivery because is my day off. I looked at parcel tracking at 9.45 and my parcel was still " In transit" so I went out . When I returned at 10.20 I fund the note " Sorry we missed you " :( They didn't try to leave the parcel at any neighbour, they just left !!! I ring back quickly, but because is Saturday they have sort day , so they can't do much until Monday. I wanted to go to collect my parcel but the depot is 85 miles away from were I leave and is open only until 12 am . Now, I need to take Monday off from work and stay all day in house, waiting for them, because they couldn't tell me a delivery time . Very disappointed....

Parcel never got delivered. Interparcel could not process extra import fees involved in delivery (despite item not needing item). Item sat in depot for several months, cannot make claim because it all took too long. Effectively I've lost £350 item in transit.

Dear Simon Greenway, I have looked into your order, DPD tried contacting your receiver several times and they were unable to get hold of the receiver and we also pass you over a number for your receiver to call them directly and they were unable to provide the outgoing details for the return. Any parcel destined outside the EU is subject to customs tax and duties charges. Unfortunately we have no control or influence over the charges as this is implemented by the receiving country. We have raised this with DPD as due to the time passed over 5 months we are unable to process any claim as this has been seized by customs as the information was not provided.

Hi Mrs Forrester, I am very sorry for the delay in collecting this item, this has been raised with Hermes who have assured us that the parcel will be collected tomorrow. Unfortunately this is the only service that we currently offer to Northern Ireland for an item of this size and so I am unable to change to service to an alternative courier.

This is the poorest service I have ever received from a UK based company. They have misplaced 8 of our 30 orders placed with them and now its been 16 days since we last heard from anyone.

On the second occasion I have used Interparcel they failed to collect the parcel today - despite offering that service, which I accepted and paid for. They acknowledged the order before their cut off time limit for collections today. I then received an email saying that they could not collect today and collection would be tomorrow. This is a straightforward breach of contract so I consider Interparcel to be useless. I shall go back to using the Post Office, which might be a little more expensive but it works, and always has done for me.

Hi Paul, I'm so sorry we're not able to collect this one today, I'm afraid this was due to a system error :( We contacted you to advise as soon as we realised there was a problem. The collection has been booked for tomorrow and we will monitor this to ensure it is carried out with no problems.

Complete shambles. Booked a 3 hour collection window for convenience and have ended up staying in all day for a collection that never materialised. Customer service blamed UPS and said they would ring me within the hour. I'm still waiting for that phone call. Looks like Im going to have to loose a working day's money to try to get this mess sorted out. You might be cheap but you are definitely not reliable.
