“Very good service. Helpful staff. 70 kg package arrived safely and on time from Wexford to Southampton. The only area of concen was the lack of availability of adequate insurance had there been any loss or damage.”

“I have used Irish parcels before and found them just fantastic. This time I’m afraid I was so disappointed... maybe not with Irish parcels but with the courier. I book on a Thursday and was told collection would be made on Friday. We stayed in all day to be sure we were here when driver arrived. At about 3.30 I received a call from courier company saying the “driver couldn’t contact me” and was now “out of the area” but assured me it would be collected on Monday. On Monday another call to say the “driver couldn’t locate the house” even though I had supplied a post code. After a very fractious call on my part I contacted Irish parcels. Got a call back telling me that the “driver could t reach me by phone” on both days. That was absolutely not true. I had the phone with me all the time. Eventually on Tuesday the driver phoned me ( no problem this time!) and parcel was collected. If I had been told on Thursday that the parcel would be collected on Tuesday that would have been fine. Anyway that was my experience this time. I did find them just so efficient on previous occasions.”

“I found the staff of Irish Parcels to be very helpful particularly Craig.The reason I didnt give the company very good was because a couple of times when I tried to get through to Irish Parcels on the I was left hanging on very long time on two at least occassions and eventually I had to hang up.”

“As I had never used this service before I initially phoned to make enquires - Tanya was extremely helpful & patient. I was unsuccessful on several occasions trying to place my order online - another helpful girl on Mon 17 Dec explained that it might be a problem with my browser & she eventually put my order through for me and it was collected the following morning (even though I had missed the 10am deadline by about half an hour!) and it was delivered to Canada in time for Christmas - thank you! The only downside to using the service was that I could not contact anyone over the weekend which meant I lost out on my parcel being collected on the Mon morning.”

“From initial phone call to delivery of parcel was a very easy process with Irish parcels!Iweighed and measured parcel and was given several quotes depending on how long I was willing to wait for pick up and then delivery! Collection was prompt on agreed pick up date and parcel was delivered in Europe on the earliest of day of 3 dates given to expect delivery. I was very pleased with the service and will definitely use Irish parcels again and glad to recommend them!”

“Ridiculous service. I booked an economy parcel to London from Dublin on Monday 7th Jan with GLS through Irish Parcels and was allocated a collection slot on Wednesday Jan 9th. It is now Monday Jan 14th, a full week after I booked my parcel for delivery and I have had to cancel my booking because no-one can guarantee that my parcel will be collected today. My advice to anyone reading this is to stay away from GLS. The economy service was half the price of the express service but one week later I am now having to pay the extra money and shift to TNT's overnight delivery. Absolutely crazy !!”
