Used IP 3 times had to chase dpd collection every time pay to be collected next day always waiting approx 2-3 days after many emails to be collected has a huge impact on my business will be looking for alternate way ..one word not fit for purpose if I ran my business that way it would fold!!

Hi Gary, thank you for your review. We can see you booked a collection for the 11th of July with DPD. Unfortunately, the collection was not completed. The first contact we received regarding this was your email on the 15th of July at 7AM, and the collection was rebooked for that same day. Although the DPD depot initially confirmed the booking, they later rejected it as the driver had already passed your area. A further rebooking was made for today, the 16th, and the collection has now taken place at 8:40AM Collections that fail are not automatically rebooked, but we do have a dedicated customer service team available by phone and email who would have been happy to assist with this sooner had we been contacted. The issue appears to be specific to DPD and their drivers reaching your area earlier in the morning. We can see you have used Irish Parcels to book shipments with UPS in the past without any reported issues. Irish Parcels provides a range of courier options and if you are having an issue with one specific courier this would have still happened if you went direct to them and paid a higher price. Hi Kelly Lyons, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. We can see that your order going to Northern Ireland was booked to be collected on the 8th of June and the estimated delivery time frame was the 9th - 10th of July. It is rare for collections to fail as long as the item is at the collection address labelled and ready to be handed over to the driver when they arrive. DPD did attempt collection of this on the 8th at 13:32 but advised that there was no contact available at that time. They reattempted the next day and this was collected around the same time. This was delivered on the 10th which was still within the original delivery estimate. We are very disappointed with your one star review as these are normally reserved for situations where everything has went wrong which did not happen here. The driver did attempt on the original date and then attempted again the next day. This was still delivered safely and on time.

Hello. My parcel was to be collected on Thursday 26th June but instead was collected on Tuesday 1st July, so not ideal.

Hi there, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. Your shipment was booked to be collected on the 26th and the tracking shows this was collected on that date. This shipment was going to Germany and was delivered safely and signed for the next working day on the 27th of June. There are no notes or emails from you regarding any issues and we are genuinely confused by your review. Was this meant for a different company as from what we can see, everything was performed correctly for your Irish Parcels order and there were no issues. Extremely disappoint with this service from the start. Items were due to be collected on Thursday to be delivered the following Monday. Despite assurances and a lot of back and forth the items were only collected the following Tuesday and then arrived broken and unusable. First and last time using this service, would not recommend based on my experience.

Hi Michael, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. We're sorry to hear of any issues you may have had with your shipment. It is very rare for well packaged items to be damaged however we can see from your image that these were not packaged appropriately for a couriers network where these will be transported through an automated system, travel down chutes and conveyor belts with other heavy and large items. These tiles were sent with nothing protecting or separating the titles from each other. The smallest movement would have resulted in the tiles hitting off one and other causing damage in this instance. Package not collected multiple times. Package was in clear view on doorstep form Thursday until the following Tuesday when I had to use an alternative company. I asked why it wasnt picked up and apparently the driver said the "contact not available". My number was on the order and there were 4 people in the house. Other company picked it up exactly when they said.

We have checked into this with your chosen courier and their depot and the driver did record collection attempts on two separate occasions. It is very rare for collections to fail as it is never in the driver's best interest to fail any collection as they would need to return. I notice in the review area that it defaults to 1 star. That in my opinion is one too many. When I booked and paid for my parcel on line to meet the deadline for collection on the following day I thought how easy is this! My booking email details had a collection window by DPD of 09.00-18.00 which was quite a big window but it was going to save me a round trip of 7 hours. Great a company that delivers! On Wednesday 18th of December I called Irish Parcels and I told them that my parcel was not collected. I was told that tomorrow Thursday would be available and that 09.00-14.00 would be the window. When I exchanged emails with an agent on Wednesday evening I asked if I could help by dropping the parcel myself to a local drop off point. They gave me a location minutes away. So I was outside the drop off point when they opened on Thursday 19th at 08.00. The lady at the drop off point would not take the parcel because it would not scan. This was probably due to the difference in my address and the Parcel point drop off address. So I left and emailed IPS at approx 08.10 and got no reply. When I got home I called an agent and she said if the parcel has not been collected by 13.00 call, I did. Another agent told me that if the parcel was not collected by 18.30 it would probably not be collected today. I got an email from an agent that I had previously spoken to and he said that he had been in touch on the system with my order and that there was a note on it saying failed collection at 14.24. That agent was on a long call to me as I was looking out my front window at 14.03 and I was asking him about the chances of my parcel ever being collected. It is possible that while on that call the “collector” was inputting “collection failure”. That tells you something. So if the point of this review is to help IPS I would say that they are beyond help. If the point of this review is to help other potential customers I would say “do not go there” your health happiness and well being is more important and dealing with this company IPS would set you back, big time. I could not take any more of their ‘guff’ and hollow and empty promises so I resolved the problem myself by asking/demanding the return of my funds. Never ever go near IPS.

Irish Parcels is a price comparison site that offers the services of various couriers for services within Ireland and around the world. When there are issues, our team are happy to investigate this and assist where possible however it appears that the majority of your review refers specifically to the chosen courier in this instance (DPD) and their failed collection attempts. Had you booked directly with DPD, the same issues could have arisen as it is one of the busiest times of the year for all couriers. Irish Parcels does not have direct contact with your chosen couriers drivers in this instance and whilst it is very rare for collections to fail, this can happen due to several factors especially at busier times of the year. Your collection was rebooked free of charge for another attempt on the 19th of December and the courier recorded this as being attempted at 14:24. We are sorry this failed as it is never in the best interests for any courier to fail a collection as this will result in additional work for them. If you need anything else, please let us know. Absolutely appalling service, parcel was delivered with a 1 week delay! and it was damaged. And that's not all, their driver was a liar and stated that my package was oversized! One week after the delayed delivery they issued an invoice requesting an additional payment. Even though I have a proof that my package was not oversized. So I issued them an invoice, requesting a full refund due to the damage and 1 week delay. Let's see what judge will say. Avoid these liars and totally unreliable delivery company.

Hi Daniel, thank you for your review. Your shipment from Ireland to Malta was expected for delivery between Wed 4th Dec - Thu 5th Dec and this was delivered on the 6th of December. You can see these estimates in the confirmation emails you received and there was not a delay of 1 week. We do ask all customers to allow 1-2 days extra in case of delays at this time of year and your shipment was delivered within that timeframe. When you booked your shipment it was booked as being 46x55x46CM however was recorded by the courier as being 61x52x50CM. You can see this on the courier tracking to show this is what the courier recorded as Irish Parcels cannot influence those measurements. If you feel these measurements are incorrect we have a disputes process to allow any measurements to be disputed. Despite being delivered on the 6th of December, we have not received any notification of any damage to your shipment and your review 12 days later is the first we have been made aware of this. We have not received any images to show the packaging used or any damage reported. Please email us with this information and this can be looked into for you. This is the second time I've been let down by Irish parcels, We were expecting our families presents to be delivered in Belgium either last Friday or Monday, It is now Wednesday and it's last record was an audit in a van in a completely different city. I have contacted Irish parcels and had a lame reply yesterday I have emailed them this morning and I am still waiting for a response. My daughter and grandkids are going to be disappointed if this isn't delivered.

Your shipment with Irish Parcels is the only shipment that has been booked and we cannot see another shipment in the past where there were any issues as you advised. We can see your shipment to Belgium was last scanned at the local DPD facility for your city. This is very normal for courier hubs/facilities to be outside of the main city. Our team are investigating this delay for you with the courier however this time of year is the single busiest time of year for all couriers and we do always ask customers to please allow for delays. I’m actually disappointed as (according to the seller) the courier never showed up. I checked with the seller and they confirmed that they were home, the package was ready to go and I had given the correct address for the label. Don’t know what went wrong.

We understand you are at the delivery side and that another party were handing this over for you at the collection side. The courier attempted the collection on the original collection date at 15:25. and noted that no one contact was available. I don't recommend it. after topping up my account, they blocked my account. Fraud. After sending a well-measured package, surcharges apply because the package was larger. Far away from this company

Hi there, thank you for your review. You placed an order on Irish Parcels which was measured by the courier as being larger that what you declared when you booked. This was raised with you on the 11th of September and our team detailed a clear method of being able to dispute this. You stated that this was an item you regularly shipped and had others in storage. We advised that this would be perfect for us to be able to clearly show if there were any errors on the couriers part. To date, nearly a month later, you have not submitted any evidence to show any mistakes on the couriers side. Due to this issue, Irish Parcels has been left with an outstanding balance that is owed and you have refused to assist with this. If you need anything else, please let us know. Paid for two days shipping, and the reason why the review is so low because of poor communication poor customer service from UPS people should not be using UPS. They are horrible. The delivery date two times and because the parcel was so important to us as it contained our passports, we had to stay an extra night at a hotel at $300 a night and then it got extended to an additional day so we did it again and then the delivery date was moved back a day ahead and we could not cancel the hotel. This is all caused because of poor communication.

Hi Katie, thank you for your review. We can see that your shipment going to Germany did not use the provided barcoded labels we sent to you for shipping. This meant that alternative labels were attached by the depot. It is crucial that your original shipping labels are always used to avoid any errors in shipping. The alternative tracking number shows your shipment was delivered yesterday in Germany at 11:51AM. This shipment was not lost and would appreciate if you could update your review. Our parcel was picked up and then we rang the office to get a status update and was told that our parcel was not picked up. It took two frustrating days to sort it out as they had the wrong tracking number on the package. Poor show

Hi Eoin, thank you for your review and for using Irish Parcels. We can see your parcel was collected and delivered safely and on time on the 18th of July. When you booked, we provided you with barcoded labels to attach to the parcel. As you are not at the collection side, these would have needed to be emailed onto the collection side to ensure these are securely attached to the shipment. As these labels were not attached ahead of the collection, the driver attached a new label when he collected the shipment which would have had a new tracking number and is why your original tracking number was not updated. We are disappointed with this negative review as had the original barcoded labels been sent to the collection side and attached, this would have tracked as normal. We would appreciate it if you could update your review given that this is through no fault of Irish Parcels. One star is too much. I sent an Amazon return with ALL the correct import paperwork. The parcel sat in customs for weeks, didn't get delivered, and over 2 months later, they had the cheek to bill me for shipping back a BROKEN item that I didn't want. I spent €32ish on shipping out, lost out on the €100 refund when it wasn't delivered, and they forced me to pay another €32 to ship it back. Irish Parcels cost me €164. What REALLY boils my blood is that I paid extra for the shipping insurance, assuming I'd be covered for something like this - only to be told that the insurance they sold me didn't cover this and was completely worthless. I'm absolutely disgusted with both the service, and the way I was treated by customer support.

Hello Nathanael, thank you for your feedback. I can see you sent an item to Amazon in the UK from Ireland. I hope you can understand that Amazon UK is not accepting any returns that have duty on them and that Irish Parcels did everything correctly for your shipment including returning it. This same outcome would have occurred had you used another courier, this is due to Amazon and not the couriers. Amazon UK are rejecting thousands of parcels a day from Ireland due to Brexit. We do have a warning on this route on our quote page and also the customs page advising this about Amazon. I can see you have left multiple 1-star reviews for Irish Parcels, which is disappointing, however, if you do need assist with anything just let us know and we would be happy to help.

ordered sevice with irish parcel twice, both times collection was not as requested, 4 days delay incollection 3 days delay in delivery, this company is a joke, i will never order via this people again, wrote emails to get help, got infromation that collection date and delivey are not guaranteed, How you can rely on people like this ? also got information tat collection point was not found, eircode and phone was provided, no courier or missed call from them, shame to deal with customers like that.

Dear David, thank you for your feedback. I can see you ordered a shipment with DPD and you are at the delivery side of the shipment. I can only see one order from your email in the last 3 months. It is very rare for collections to fail, as the driver will have to reattempt another day which creates additional work. I can see we rebooked another collection for you, we are happy to help with any issues or questions you may have. If there is a delay in the collection, there will be a delay on the delivery side. Of the recent parcels sent to the US, 2 have arrived damaged beyond repair! Unacceptable! This on top of missed collections is a very poor reflection! And - it's a growing trend with mist parcels sent through yourselves. Broken, lost and damaged is in the norm . Disappointed!!!

I am very sorry if there was any damage to your item. Any form of damage is extremely rare. Packaging your item appropriately is extremely important to ensure there is no issues with damage to your shipment. It's not Irish Parcels fault, but the parcel has got lost in transit, The track and trace says that it's delivered, but they are unable to provide a signature or say where it was delivered to. I am still chasing the courier a week later to try and get a resolution.

I cannot see any record on our system of you contacting us about this shipment. I assume you contacted the courier directly when there was an issue.
