One star is too much. I sent an Amazon return with ALL the correct import paperwork. The parcel sat in customs for weeks, didn't get delivered, and over 2 months later, they had the cheek to bill me for shipping back a BROKEN item that I didn't want. I spent €32ish on shipping out, lost out on the €100 refund when it wasn't delivered, and they forced me to pay another €32 to ship it back. Irish Parcels cost me €164. What REALLY boils my blood is that I paid extra for the shipping insurance, assuming I'd be covered for something like this - only to be told that the insurance they sold me didn't cover this and was completely worthless. I'm absolutely disgusted with both the service, and the way I was treated by customer support.

Hello Nathanael, thank you for your feedback. I can see you sent an item to Amazon in the UK from Ireland. I hope you can understand that Amazon UK is not accepting any returns that have duty on them and that Irish Parcels did everything correctly for your shipment including returning it. This same outcome would have occurred had you used another courier, this is due to Amazon and not the couriers. Amazon UK are rejecting thousands of parcels a day from Ireland due to Brexit. We do have a warning on this route on our quote page and also the customs page advising this about Amazon. I can see you have left multiple 1-star reviews for Irish Parcels, which is disappointing, however, if you do need assist with anything just let us know and we would be happy to help.

ordered sevice with irish parcel twice, both times collection was not as requested, 4 days delay incollection 3 days delay in delivery, this company is a joke, i will never order via this people again, wrote emails to get help, got infromation that collection date and delivey are not guaranteed, How you can rely on people like this ? also got information tat collection point was not found, eircode and phone was provided, no courier or missed call from them, shame to deal with customers like that.

Dear David, thank you for your feedback. I can see you ordered a shipment with DPD and you are at the delivery side of the shipment. I can only see one order from your email in the last 3 months. It is very rare for collections to fail, as the driver will have to reattempt another day which creates additional work. I can see we rebooked another collection for you, we are happy to help with any issues or questions you may have. If there is a delay in the collection, there will be a delay on the delivery side. Of the recent parcels sent to the US, 2 have arrived damaged beyond repair! Unacceptable! This on top of missed collections is a very poor reflection! And - it's a growing trend with mist parcels sent through yourselves. Broken, lost and damaged is in the norm . Disappointed!!!

I am very sorry if there was any damage to your item. Any form of damage is extremely rare. We have processes in place to deal with damage and I can see you are in touch with one of my colleagues who is handling this for you. Packaging your item appropriately is extremely important to ensure there is no issues with damage to your shipment. I understand you send delicate/brittle items and stronger packaging to stop the items flexing would help with this issue. It's not Irish Parcels fault, but the parcel has got lost in transit, The track and trace says that it's delivered, but they are unable to provide a signature or say where it was delivered to. I am still chasing the courier a week later to try and get a resolution.

Hi John, thank you for using Irish Parcels and for your feedback. I can see you have sent many shipments with Irish Parcels without any issues, so I am very sorry if this shipment had any issues. I cannot see any record on our system of you contacting us about this shipment. I assume you contacted the courier directly when there was an issue. I will get a member of staff to look into this for you an email you an update. It is extremely rare for a shipment not be delivered.

The service provided was superb- got help with customs, labels etc. pick up was very prompt. Unfortunately I was shipping a China set and was sent an email stating that as the items were fragile its transport was at my own risk. I should have heeded this as the set although we’ll protected and bubble wrapped looked like it had been catapulted to the US from Ireland by the time it landed in pieces, holes punched in the side of the box etc. Absolutely no care was taken whatsoever with what was clearly labelled as fragile. I’ve since had to email the company so that they might forewarn customers that they do not have the capability to transport fragile items and should clearly state this to customers instead of taking a hefty sum to basically destroy your items. Very very poor!!

Hello Helene Moran, thank you for your feedback and for using Irish Parcels. I am glad you found our staff helpful and I am very sorry about any damage to your shipment. Any form of damage is rare so I am very sorry about this. All shipments will be transported on conveyer belts and in and out of a number of vans, we do not recommend sending very fragile items. Packaging is very important and a china set is an extremely delicate item, we would say that each item should be within a box with bubble wrap and protection, then these smaller boxes can be transported within a larger box. This is to stop any of the china hitting off itself which can cause damage even though bubble wrap. I hope this information helps. I waited and waited and waited all day .....8am to 6pm ....Reese, Doris, and Chris. Senior customer service advisor, appalling service. Nice effort to defend the indefensible every time .

Used this service to have a guitar sent to wexford from carlow. iv sent items oversees for years so i know how to pack items. Guitar arrived in bits and weve had to refund the customer . Will never use this service again

The delivery driver never showed up. The tracking system only advised "head office". I phoned to make a complaint and they refused to accept any responsibility and hung up on me. The manager I emailed said that I was abusive to his staff. I was not. I asked him to escalate it to his superiors but he refused. No parcel, no apology and no resolution to the complaint. Very poor service. Use anyone else.

Hello Declan Hannafin, this is your 2nd negative review you have left. I can see you booked a shipment to send within Ireland. You are at the delivery side, rather that the collection side and the collection did not happen (item may have not been ready). The tracking shows that the parcel has not yet been collected. We explained this and offered you another collection at no cost. I understand you were argumentative with a staff member. We cancelled your order and fully refunded you. We would politely request you use another company for any future shipments.

Very disappointed! Nobody collected the package since 3 days! No phone contact number,only email. Response time 48h. I do not recommend. Better stay away!

Hello ANDRZEJ WRODARCZYK, we understand this review is about another company and not IrishParcels.ie, however, you said you do not know how to change the review and will not remove it. We are very disappointed to receive this 1 star review, especially as it is not about us. You book with two seperate courier companies and our shipment was the order that arrived on time. Our system shows your item was collected on time (21st April and delivered on time on the 24th April). We have a phone line that is answered on average within 2 rings and all emails in the last 12 months have been replied to within 2 hours, not 48 hours. Our phone number is clearly shown on our website. If you are able to update your review is would be greatly appreciated.

Ordered collection. No one ever came to collect. Tey to contact them, no answer on the phone. Write email, no reply to it either. I'm left with €14 short and I need to get some one alse to do thw job !!! Never recommend!!!

i have booked with you a parcel collection , parcel was collected two days after scheduled time, next day delivery of totally damaged parcel,ive added insurance to the shipping, while contacting with courier got reply that this is not their fault and parcel is not covered with insurance and they are very sorry. no refund made, no further resolution

Hello David, thank you for using Irish Parcels. I can see the courier arrived to collect your item on the correct date, however, the gate was locked and there was no answer when they phoned. We arranged another collection for you free of charge. The packaging you used was very over-packed and bulging at the sides, it is very important to package your items correctly. The packaging you used was of very poor quality. We would recommend only sending electrical items in the original manufactures packaging. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused, if you need help with anything else please let us know and we would be happy to help.

SCAM!!! Complete disaster!!! Do not use their services never!!! Some of my items were lost and they said it is impossible to find them, and the ones that arrived were broken. My big TV arrived with screen all smashed, clearly I could see that their put something heavy over the box of TV as the box was squashed in and very dirty, unbelievable!!! Two of the other boxes with valuable stuff like jewlery etc. arrived completely empty. I called to ask for a refund and they refused to send any money back, even the item delivery was covered. We tried to find their office in Dalkey as per address given in Google maps and we didn't find it when we arrived there... there was a private house under this address. We called to them asking about it and they said that their office is in Belfast... Looking in Google map you can not find their office in Belfast neither. Just a nightmare!!! They said that delivery will take up to 4 working days and the things arrived after 2 weeks. Avoid it!!! There are many better and safer options to send you things, unless you want your stuff to be stolen or broken then go ahead with Irish parcels!!! This is a SCAM, not a serious company!!!

I ordered a parcel on Wednesday 21st October to be picked up on Thursday 22nd October. It is now Thursday 29th of October and my parcel is still sitting here waiting to be picked up. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE.

It is currently the 29th of September, you mentioned you booked a collection for the 21st of October. I can only assume you have typed the wrong month in your review. If a collection is missed or the driver does not arrive it will need to be rebooked, simply reply to our email, phone us or talk to us via Live Chat and we will book in another collection for you. I am a small business owner, 24 years of age, and trying my best to make a future for myself in an expensive country. I secured an opportunity to have some of my products stocked in Carroll's Irish Gifts and as you can imagine I was elated with this achievement. I was delighted to come across Irish parcels, because it meant that I could send 30+ products in one box, for the same price as sending multiple small parcels with an post who I had always used. I carefully packaged up 6 parcels altogether, for 3 different Carroll's stores, applied the labels provided by Irish parcels, and sat back feeling incredibly proud after weeks of preparing this order. Unfortunately, things werent this simple. A dpd driver entered the reception of our work area while I was not there, and loaded the parcels to his van. He applied the labels incorrectly to the parcels, and rather than delivering to 3 locations, he delivered them all to one. Carroll's unpacked the boxes, later realising and informing us that they were not for their stores. These were then repacked, and uplifted by dpd. When they got to the correct stores, all the contents were smashed, and not fit for resale. Irish parcels have informed me that I am to blame, as I should have been present to hand over parcels. However the parcels were not left out by me, there was no sign for the driver to enter the building and take them, and had I known what time he would be collecting, or had he called me, I would have been on hand to make sure he correctly applied his barcodes to the boxes. I am at a huge loss as I have to pay for the parcels with the broken contents to be returned, I have to replace them, and once again pay for delivery to cork. I did all I could on my end, and I feel so disheartened after this whole ordeal. I worked so hard to do everything right, but it wasn't enough.

We do advise parcels should be handed over to the driver and not be left unattended for collection. I am very sorry that the shipment was delivered to one address and not to the 3 separate addresses. I understand the damage was caused due to the items (glass candles) not being packaged correctly when being returned. I hope you can understand the packaging of the items are very important to ensure items are not damaged. This is not Arlington Hotel as you put in your correspondence We paid you for the collection of a small parcel from the Arlington to my home. You did not pick it up ItYou did not attempt to make any contact with us to check the delivery and you make it difficult to contact you for any explanation You also kept our money. We had to go back to Dublin and pick it up ourselves

Dear Susan Madden, our reviews are automated and sent to all customers. The name you used on your booking was Arlington Hotel, this is the reason for this name in your review. We believe using "Arlington Hotel" as your name is also the reason your collection failed, as you did not provide a person's name for your collection, simply the hotel address. You provided your name for delivery but not collection. Your collection was attempted 3 times, however, no goods were available. If the courier and hotel staff did not have a name they may not have known what the driver was there to collect. You have not contacted us to request a refund, we allow one free additional collection attempt, however, now that 3 attempts were made for this shipment and you paid €16.48, the additional collection cost would be more than you paid for your shipment. Very very poor service from this company. After day 2 still no pick up of parcel Contacted them on day 3 told me dpd attempted pick up on day 1 which was a complete lie as the poor lad stayed at home all day to give them parcel as he was afraid of it been stolen. Day 4 finally picked up item. Day six and I still haven't received item. This company is a joke and I will never do business again. Very poor communication and blatant lies from them.

Dear YURI KROT / EOIN CADDEN, I can see you made a booking to send an item from CLARE to MONAGHAN with DPD on Irish Parcels. The booking was sent to DPD and the collection failed on the date booked (1st Feb) at 2pm. You contacted us at 5pm the following day (2nd Feb) about the item not being collected, we rebooked the collection and the item was collected the following day (3rd Feb). If the collection does fail or the item is not collected please contact us straight away so we can rebook another collection for you (at no cost). I can see your item is currently out for delivery.
