I placed an order and it kicked out my coupon. I didn't notice until I read the email later that day. I called to get it corrected and first call was disconnected after 18 minutes. I called back and the person I talked to didn't have a clue how to handle it. I can't cancel the order because you can only cancel up to 30 minutes after ordering. Now I have to wait for the order then return it to the store. Meanwhile the sale is ending tomorrow and I haven't received the order yet. I'M DONE WITH JCPENNEYS!

Cut up my cards after 52 years with my cards. Front of cards said “since 1973”. Your 1.99 billing to send me a bill was the reason. 1.99 isn’t anything anymore, but it just didn’t make sense for me to be charged to get a get charged to pay my bill. They say my wife signed up for electronic billing, which she doesn’t remember doing, and then charged 30.00 late fee on 103.00 bill, which we got reversed after a few phone calls, which you have to almost jump through hoops to get to talk to a real person.

Visited store in Overland Park, KS 7/5/25. I picked out a watch I liked. I had to go to front desk to get someone to assist me in Jewelry. I asked if they could remove links so it would properly fit. I was told that store employees were no longer allowed to do that. I would need to go to a jewelry store after purchase to get it adjusted. I walked away without a purchase. Very disappointed.

First time ordering from their online site. These are supposed to be my wedding shoes this weekend. They sent me the wrong shoes. 🙃 the label on the top is correct so I dont know how they slapped them on the wrong shoe box. Don't think I will be ordering from them again. Good thing I found the last pair in my size in a store today. (For JCP, i may have ordered as a guest so i am unsure that email will work to verify..)

I bought four pairs of men's shorts. ALL four pairs were WRONG size. JC Penneys does have a return policy. They will charge me EIGHT DOLLARS to return their mistakes. Or, I can drive 21 miles to the nearest store. Either way, it will cost me time or money to correct THEIR MISTAKE. How do these people stay in business with such HORRIBLE service. I will return the items, and get a replacement from AMAZON.

I made an appointment with their Salon. When I arrived, knowing I arrived early. No one was at the front desk and their phone was ringing a lot. I only saw 1 male gentleman cutting hair. I stood up there for at least 5 minutes. I made my appointment with Shana, who never talked to me. Shana never came over at any time to apologize for not cutting my hair when I requested her. The manager, Oydin, was sweet enough to take her time out to cut my hair. She did an AMAZING JOB. That is the only reason I am giving a five star review. I thought that Shana was rude and very thoughtless for not being professional enough to apologize even though I requested her and I had an appointment with her. But Oydin did a great job and we had a great conversation. So I appreciated her. The only thing was, I only wanting to pay around $55. I did not realize that Oydin would be $75 a haircut. That should’ve been told to me upfront because cost is important when you’re paying that much for a haircut. But I will go back to Oydin because she was so great. I enjoyed her company and her haircut was very thorough. I hope you keep her on at that salon for a long time because she would be the one I would go back to a heartbeat. A licensed hairdresser, so I will track her down through state board if you guys are silly enough to let her loose. Thank you, for Oydin for your great personality and haircut.

bought a couch in December, was a promotional item, didnt notice jc penny started charging interest, (paperless statements) called when I noticed, was told I (I) waited too long, even though it was a jc penny mistake! so paying interest on a promotional item after being a loyal gold card member for many years!!!!

I have been a long time customer of JC Penney, but no more. They used to have free returns, but now they charge. It’s not worth making any purchases when I have to pay for return postage.

I was 5 days after the 60 day return policy. Item was new and still had tags. Manager refused to accept return. Will not buy anything from JCP!

Outstanding service trying on lingerie at Springfield, VA. Regina E. was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. She was back and forth making sure the fit and style was just right. Real customer service, so often missing in retail today.

A lady named Tina provided hair service to my daughter in Douglasville, Ga. She was the perfect fit for my 9 year old daughter who had anxieties as a first time visit to any salon. Tina was patient with her, while also managing some of the worlds thickest, longest natural hair. My daughter left the shop feeling confident and no more fears of hair wash and hair styling days. Thanks Tina! You are the best!

I just have to rave about Maria in the beauty department at JCPenney she's absolutely the best beauty guru I've ever had the pleasure of working with! Maria's knowledge and expertise in all things beauty are truly impressive, and her passion for her job is infectious. She's always so willing to lend a helping hand, offer expert advice, and make sure you leave the store feeling like a million bucks. What really sets Maria apart, though, is her dedication to her customers. She's always looking out for us, and would often text us about upcoming promos and sales at JCPenney. It's little touches like that which make you feel like you're part of a special community, and you can't help but love shopping at JCPenney even more because of her. I have been a JCPenney customer for over 50 years. I’ve always felt they had fair, competitive prices. I was so shocked today. A very simple a-line cotton dress was $70. The same dress last year would have been $49 or less last year. And they don’t have the coupons like they used to. I know it’s just a sign of the times, but it has become to expensive for me. Plus the cashier had such a bad attitude and was on her phone. She never got off her phone the whole time she was checking me out. Needless to say, I have lost my faith in JCP. I can no longer shop there with their outrageous prices.

JC Penney’s at Arrowhead Mall, Glendale, Arizona. Not happy at all. Returned a bracket for $482.00 on May 22 3025. Their credit department said they never received my credit. A dispute has been opened but they have my bracelet and I don’t have my money. Can’t get anything resolved. I will never ever shop at Penney’s again. They lost a VERY GOOD customer.

I had Jeannine come out to show us shades. She seemed nice but was always in a hurry. My husband was on his way home but she didn’t have the time and seemed in a hurry. Had to have her come back. I showed her what I wanted since I already had some up/down shades. Again, she seemed in a hurry so I signed the contract but it wasn’t right. They came to install and they were not up/down. JC Penny won’t replace e them because she said told the client service that she said they would be more expensive. Yes, the new shades my husband wanted for our living/dinning room. I should have looked better when signing the contract but she should have listened to what I showed her I wanted. I just wasted a lot of money because everything was rushed. Be careful of what you sign because if they rush you, you won’t get what you want!!!! I should have just gone back to were I got the other shades. Shame on J C penny!!!!

I'm very unhappy with the service from this company. I feel that mistakes are made, and nothing is done to rectify the issue. Constantly hearing "we understand" does not help the situation. This is why these stores are disappearing. Good customer service good a long way

They're always out of sizes in the ladies clothing amd shoe dept. The women's plus dept. has very unattractive clothing. Nobody ever, ever offers to help.
