“Bought mattress at Albuquerque store. Sales lady stated delivery would call us in about 5 weeks to set a time for delivery and they would pick up old mattress. In June 2021 delivery sent automated msg stating time they would deliver. We had to call them about picking up

“Its a month since I ordered the Sealy Posturepedic Humbolt online and not a word from anyone about delivery. I went to the store and called the number they gave to check and that service lady Pam of Columbus, Ohio was outright RUDE. I inquired about delivery and she says the delivery co. will call you. Its a MONTH since JCP took my money, woman! The price has dropped $65 and I asked to do a price match and that bxxxx says VERY sternly "NO, you are NOT going to get a price match because you used an online coupon". What does using a coupon that ''JCP asked me' to use got to do with price match -- before I've even got the product. Service is indifferent and JCP is incompetent. The idiot woman tells me, it takes this long because 'we make it fresh' - Will you please put it in the oven for me, Stupid. Then she goes on to explain 'retail' and 'supply chain' to me. “I was at the JCP at the SI Mall for a return. I asked if I can make a return at this register and the cashier said yes. I waited on line when another cashier came up to me screaming that the returns are made downstairs. I continued to wait because the other cashier said I could do a return there. Then the other woman says i told you returns are downstairs and I said returns can be done at any register. She said well I'm deaf, I didn't hear you. I said I never said anything until now but I heard you. This is why JCP is bankrupt. Why should I have to be forced to go all the way downstairs and wait on a long line with people who are also picking up orders made online. I wish I knew the cashier who did my return. The reciept states assoc: 0403. I did thank her for her kindness.”

“When your store does not have a product, I then go online to order it. I did that on my last order and I was charged shipping. Shipping to store. What are you thinking? If you don’t have it at your store why am I being penalized by paying shipping to order it online? You will lose my online business. I have tried very hard to continue to shop at JCPenney throughout this pandemic, but if you’re going to charge shipping to store I will go to a different merchandiser. “I placed an order on Sunday, and we had a family emergency and was going to be out of town for a week. I called to have the order shipped to the store instead of to our home. I was told that there is nothing they can do for me. I should contact the shipper. How could I contact the shipper when the order was not yet filled? The call center supervisor said she was the highest level when I requested to speak with a manager. JC Penney does not care about customers, no wonder stores are closing. In the technology age, they don’t have an option to cancel or make changes to orders is absurd. I will take my business elsewhere, where people don’t hang up on you, or have a bad attitude.”
“Purchased a queen size Sealy Humbolt Mattress that was sold as a Firm, after 3 nights sleeping on it, It became a hammock shape and had to climb uphill to get out of bed and cause back pain. Penny's makes it very difficult to return. Never will recommend Sealy or Penny's again. Very disappointed at JC Penney's and Sealy for selling Junk like this mattress.”
