“If I could give ZERO stars I would. The worst experience!!!! I placed an order on 8/2/2021 with an estimated delivery date of 8/13/2021 to the store of my choice. Well, needless to say that did not happen and after multiple calls, with NO ONE able to help with status of the order as I tracked & it was "in transit to the store" all the time. On 8/21/2021 I was assured it will be arriving within the next 10 bus days, only to receive an email CANCELING my order as it was not picked up!! The disconnect is unbeliavable. Very dissatisfied.”

“My order of 5 items arrived with only 1 of my items. The others were someone else's. When I called and explained it was a mixed order but packing slip had all my items listed. They want me to wait to see if an another package arrives. I told them every package would have a separate UPS number and if it was a split order all the items would not be listed. They would not tell me how to return the items that are not mine. The customer rep and the supervisor acted like they didn't want to help. I work in a clothing distribution center. I know how it works. Every time I said something it was correct and they agreed. But company policy is you have to wait....just in case the impossible happens.”

“The worst experience ever. I ordered a mattress and waited 2 months then my card expired when they went to ship and cancelled my order without reaching out to me. Then I call the day after the order was cancelled and they tell me to reorder it and and wait 2 more months and the price is 300 more. Totally ridiculous I will never shop their for anything. “I used to consider JCPENNEY one of the top line stores, like Macy's, Foleys. I went to Barton Springs mall in Austin, TX, and was searching through the clearance section and found and bought some redish/burgundy king size sheets and came home to wash them. The problem
with the sheets is after being washed the color red is everything is RED! My fingernails, the mattress cover, anything that you wear, etc. is all RED!!! Since when did JCPENNEY sale things that are so cheap! Never again! π”

“A had a horrible experience with the Jewelry Dept. In Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. I Purchase a diamond ring last year and got it sized. They told me it would be back within a month. I kept calling everyone month and they would tell me it wasn't back from getting it sized. Finally after they research why it wasn't back they discovered that someone with my same name had picked it up. I was furious and told them that it wasn't me that picked it up and to compare the signature of the other person. They Finally discovered that they gave it to the wrong person and gave me a replacement. In April i bought another ring and the same thing happened. They called the wrong person to go pick up the ring. Apparently there is another Lady with my name. I was very π‘ upset because I thought they had corrected the issue. This lady is a thief and JC Penny is horrible, they never handle the situation the first time. I asked for my money back on this last purchase and I'm never going to buy from them again.”
“I was charged a late fee every month due to the due date not being changed and also had to pay for my return mailings. Customer service manager "Delores" was a cold robotic representative. I will never purchase anything from this store again.

“If i could give them a 0 star review I would. I am so upset at their jewelry department (every store). My boyfriend purchased a promise ring from them in May and we waited 3 weeks for it to be resized and come back in. It was beautiful when it did finally come back in HOWEVER THREE days after getting it back a diamond completely fell out and 2 more were loose and had moved. We were upset because I only had it for 3 days so we took it back and luckily we had gotten a lifetime warranty. We asked for our money back since the ring was defective and I only had it 3 days before it fell apart. We were told that they cannot give refunds back. So we decided to send it off using the warranty and have them replace the missing diamond and fix the other 2 that were clearly crooked. They told us it was going to take 5 to 8 weeks. I was very upset because I only had the ring for THREE days!! Also, this was not a cheap rinky dinky ring, we paid quite about of money for it and were told that it is uncommon for diamonds to fall out. We waited FIVE weeks for it to come back in, and yesterday we went to pick it up, and guess what.... the crooked diamonds were NOT fixed. We didn't even leave the store with it. They were clearly still crooked and it was VERY noticeable. I was so upset and I started crying because we need the ring now for an upcoming date AND we were told we would have to wait FIVE more weeks while they sent it off to be FIXED AGAIN. THEY didn't fix it in the first place. The manager told us we could not get any money back they could only send it off again. Finally, she said she would exchange it for the same ring or give PARTICAL money back. Not even the whole thing even though I only ever had it for THREE days. I was still so distraught that we couldn't get the full refund, so we decided to go with a different ring and hope the diamonds wouldn't fall out. So now were having to wait a few weeks for the new one to come in. I am so unhappy with how they handled this. I feel as if they should have sent our ring to be fixed first since they didn't fix it correctly in the first place. We will NEVER be buying from JC penny again and we will tell everyone we know how horrible our experience was that way they will not buy from them too. JC Pennys ruined our ring shopping experience and I hope other people do not fall into this trap.”

“I bought a chain from them and its FAKE! REAL GOLD SHOULD NOT STICK TO A MAGNET AT ALL! The chain itself didnt stick but the clasp did. Nothing said on the label that it was plated anywhere on the chain. If its plated in certain spot IT SHOULD BE LABELED AS SUCH. Who wants to pay 700 on something that is not fully real!”

“The Head of marketing mustβve been a used car salesman. They have changed their marketing strategy putting down the MSRP of clothing and then giving you a 50% discount. You got to be really stupid to believe thatβs the actual price of that clothing. You can find the same clothing at other stores selling for 30 to 40% less than what JC pennies is selling it on sale. No wonder theyβre going broke!”
