I find the time delay in responding to be really excessive. I would not join this service if I was not already in the plan.

I can’t thank Sequence enough for giving me my life back. I’ve tried so many different diets over the years and nothing has worked like this. I don’t have the sugar cravings anymore which is huge for me…..I use to drink at least 6 sugared Coke’s a day and been off my pop now for 4 months. It feels good to have control over what I eat now and to have someone who truly understands the struggle of being over weight. I felt defeated when I left my primary doctors office and was told to eat a 1/4 of what I did when I was young:/ Sequence has helped me lose 53.4 pounds since April 23rd and still losing. I am now able to enjoy my grandkids so much more now and feels good being able to keep up with them.

I have been with Sequence since 10/22. Thanks to the help of Dr. Papa, my care coordinator, Kayla and Rita, my dietician, I have lost 89 lbs. Having been diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder 30+ years ago, I have struggled with food and weight gain for as long as I can remember. For the first time in my life, I am not struggling with food and it is an amazing feeling!

Started out good, but the past few months they have really gone downhill. You almost never speak to your prescriber, only a customer service "care coordinator". Every request takes days to respond, and they will almost always get it wrong. I've been waiting for them to update my prescription for nearly 2 months now, while paying for them every month. I asked to go down in dose, and they keep sending a higher dose EVERY SINGLE TIME. When you remind them that you'd like it lowered, they still send in a higher one, then apologize and say they will fix it, then go completely dark and never respond. This company feels like a pill mill that truly does not care about patient care.

I signed up for Sequence recently and have had some very concerning experiences so far. A week ago, I received an update from my care team that my insurance was requesting additional documentation proving 6 months of a weight loss program as part of the insurance prior authorization policy. When I checked my insurance portal, no prior authorizations had been submitted. I notified the care team and they apologized saying they were gathering information before submitting in case my insurance requested it. I provided the information and then they updated me that the prior authorization had been sent. I’ve been keeping an eye on my insurance portal and nothing is showing as pending. Today, Sequence said my prior authorization and coverage was denied. I asked if they could forward the communication from my insurance company because nothing was showing in the portal. She said sure and then proceeded to share with me a denial letter for another patient, for another medication, with another insurance provider 🤯 this seems highly unprofessional and very sketchy.

Sequence was great when I first started about a year ago. The staff were very attentive and responsive, but that has changed in the last few months. Had to switch treatment and insurance wouldn't cover new treatment. Sequence was unable to assign with getting my insurance company to cover the new treatment and suggested older medication that isn't effective. They will convince you that they can help with your insurance company when you first sign up, but they are unlikely to get your medication approved. Only join if you want to pay out of pocket or have a documented diagnosis. The monthly fee is not worth the service provided.

They take days to respond to simple inquiries which continues to force your treatment weeks back and with 26 days left in my treatment after paying over $200. They then said that they couldn’t provide me with the medication because I needed to pay for another 30 days even though my request for my medication was before 30 days were up. Horrible.

I started Sequence after a negative experience with a "well-regarded" local bariatric clinic. When I told them I wasn't interested in surgical options, they decided they weren't interested in helping me - and told me that the best I could *ever* hope for, even with the help of medication, was to lose 40 lbs. 5 months later, thanks to my fantastic Sequence team (Clinician, Nutritionist, and Fitness Coach), I'm down 30 lbs and 7 inches (overall). More than that, with this substantial support, I've been able to make healthier food choices on a very limited budget. I can't say enough good things about Sequence, of how well it has worked for me. I'm not sure where my health journey will take me in the future, but it'll be with the help of Sequence.

I can understand that insurance won't cover certain medications. What I don't understand is why the doctor would specifically say that the generic medication would not be good for me and yet they still shipped it out. Luckily I read the fine print and found out that it could be harmful to my health in combination with the medications I'm currently taking. That could have been very bad for my health.

I have been on the Sequence Program since April 2023. I have lost about 25 pounds. Apart from it being the vehicle through which I was prescribed the GLP-1 medication, I find the staff very helpful. I love my dietitian, Rita. She is empathetic and offers concrete solutions to any challenges like getting enough protein and water. I look forward to our talks and appreciate her support. When it is time for a new prescription, the team is responsive and listens to the feedback of whether there should be an increase in the dosage. I need to utilize the exercise portion of this program and plan to do so this month. I just joined the Facebook group and I am looking to learn as well as contribute in any way to other participants in the group

I have struggled with my weight my entire adult life. In 2018, I was most successful with losing the weight by doing very strict keto and counting macros in a way that consumed my entire life. In early 2022, I had a total thyroidectomy - as I adjusted to frequent changes in my thyroid medications to suppress my TSH, I quickly regained all the weight I had lost with keto - and then some. Losing weight was something I could no longer do. I was puffy, tired, unable to shed the extra weight and struggling to get my primary care doctor to hear my concerns because my TSH was “normal”. After being told that my insulin resistance was suggesting pre diabetes I knew I needed to make changes. This winter, I requested a GLP-1. My primary care doctor denied my request and referred me to an endocrinologist who had a significant wait time for new patients. In June, I took matters into my own hands and found Sequence. I’m so glad that I did as they have been pivotal in helping me to regain my life back since my Thyroidectomy!! My care team has been responsive, they have LISTENED to my concerns, they have been supportive and they have done all of the leg work with my insurance company to ensure my Ozempic was covered for me. Within one week of my appointment with Carmen, Ozempic had been approved and I was on the road to getting well again. My first dose of Ozempic was June 26th - today, July 26th, I am down 13.5 pounds and still without any side effects whatsoever. My fasting blood sugar has decreased from 112-120 to 79 and I feel incredible for the first time since my surgery. My energy is returning, my sleep is restful and the scale is moving without strict calorie deprivation and hours of exercise. Food noise is gone. I simply no longer have to worry about it. I eat when I’m hungry, I choose healthy foods and I’m able to be active organically because my energy is not drained. My weekly check ins with Grace and Carmen leave me feeling supported and heard. I’m incredibly appreciative of the care and attention I’ve found through Sequence and I cannot wait to finish this journey to my best self with them.

The program is fantastic. I am using the text feature to contact members of the Sequence care team for me. They help me w any issues that come up very promptly. There is a lot of misinformation out on the internet and the medical staff at sequence sets me straight. I now know a realistic caloric target for me and what optimal weight loss week for week should look like

I had high hopes for Join Sequence and was very excited to begin my journey. While I was initially able to get a prescription for Wegovy, it was not covered by my insurance--I did get the coupon, but the price for Wegovy was still around $1,000 per month. This is not the problem, though. I was happy with the results from the prescription, in tandem with my own diet and exercise routine. However, I could not continue to pay $1,000 per month. Sequence tried prescribing a few other GLP1s and all were declined by my insurance. I took a break from Join Sequence because of this. I returned to Join Sequence after receiving both a PCOS and prediabetes diagnosis from my OB/GYN and PCP, respectively. I need help and am doing the best I can on my own. This time, I suggested Ozempic, given my recent diagnoses. Sequence submitted a prior authorization which was declined immediately, and they happily charged me a $90 subscription fee for nothing (all of the other options had already been declined and the only available option would interact with a medication I already take). The reason that I am so dissatisfied, other than wasting so much money, is because when I went to my PCP for my annual, my PCP was able to get me Ozempic fully covered by insurance. My PCP had the same exact information available to her that Sequence had available to them. To reiterate--Sequence did not spend time "advocating" for me and was unable to get anything covered by insurance. Yet, my PCP was able to have it covered by insurance within 24 hours. There is no patient advocacy in Join Sequence and they are happy to take your money while providing no customer service. Unless you have a concrete Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis and/or aren't interested in GLP1s, don't bother with this company and just make an appointment with your PCP.

The program is fantastic. I couldn’t ask for more regarding the prompt communications from my care coordinator and Dr. the Nutrionist provided me with some excellent meal plans to help me along my journey. I was provided several options regarding meds and with my Dr, we came up with the plan for me to be successful. I have lost 10 pounds in the first month and confident that my success will continue. I feel an incredible difference already and it has provided me with the confidence and boost needed to continue the plan. The results are real and I am already getting people asking me what am I doing. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire program. Looking forward to teaming up with the Fitness expert to put me in a plan to make even bigger strides to a healthier lifestyle.

I can say with honesty, I have never received as much support as I have with this program. The multi-pronged approach that we are taking towards my success is what has been missing. In all of my years of dieting, this is the first time I've ever been matched with a Registered Dietician. After my session with Shelby, I felt like a weight was lifted off of me. She helped me take the steps needed to start to undo years of misinformation and misunderstanding when it comes to food, habits, and my individual health. I cannot wait for my next session to hopefully share my personal victories for the month.

Monjauro helped me immensely . I started off at 157 pounds and it really sent me into a very depressing state of mind. I am not even 5 foot and that much weight was making it very difficult for me to do any of the things I actually enjoyed, like running, and rollerskating. After using Monjauro for only a short period of time, I am now down to 117 pounds and I am actually on a roller derby team ! I cannot tell you enough how much my life has changed over the past eight months. I also appreciate the responsiveness of the sequence care team. Thank you so much for everything.

I found Sequence on TIKTOK last August, I was overweight and overwhelmed. I met with my provider on the 8/19/2022 and started 8/22/23. I have officially lost 100 pounds and that’s something I never thought I’d do. They helped me learn with the lessons, and they also helped with nutrition and fitness. All from the comfort of my home. I highly recommend Sequence.
