“Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The duck rolls did not taste of duck at all. We did not finish them. The prawn pizza was ok but the prawn was cut up quite small so i couldn't really get a taste of prawn. We haven't yet tried the cheesecake or the chicken curry. I will defrost and try them tonight and send a review tomorrow. Based on what we've tried today I'm really not looking forward to either but hopefully I'm wrong. Packaging was good.”

“Soo disappointed... I placed an order to cater for Mother's Day, expecting delivery on Friday morning as promised. Just before midnight, I received a text to say that my order wasn't coming. There was no mention of why or when it may come. It's not possible to find a phone number for the business. I tried to reach out via their website, emails, and social media. Someone eventually called me just before lunchtime on Friday to advise that my order was still coming and that it would be delivered in the afternoon. Based on this, I was less stressed about the prospect of not having food for Mother's Day. The delivery hadn't arrived by 5:45pm on Friday evening, causing me to follow up. It was finally delivered by someone at about 7pm Friday, significantly later than expected. At this point, I thought that everything would be ok. On Sunday afternoon, I started opening the food to prepare it for dinner. Please see my pictures below to illustrate what I was expecting based on the pictures on the website compared to what we received. Suffice it to say, no way I’ll use this service again. Please don’t take the risk yourself!”

“Certainly served its purpose of ensuring that we didn't have to do any preparation. And the food tasted good (what we've consumed so far). The only concern is that not everything seems to be suitable to be frozen and then reheated. e.g. the Gnudi lost its integrity on reheating and was basically all sauce (admittedly, very nice).”

“Loved the lasagne and pizza. Still getting through the bundle I bought for Mother’s Day so I could have a break from cooking. Family very happy and better value than a single lunch out last Sunday. Will order again for a special occasion!”

“My second order didn't arrive I emailed and was pleasantly surprised to have an actual person contact me to arrange a delivery by someone from their office that day. I was very impressed. My husband and I enjoy the food very much. So seriously I can't fault the company.”

“Have now had several meals from Providoor and each one has really hit the mark. The lamb shoulder is exquisite - I've had it a few times now, with family and other guests. All were impressed. I've also had their potato mash - great - and broccolini - aso great. The rice I've had a few times, with guests, and they have complimented me on the great taste! (I had to confess . . . ) I'd give them 10 out of 10. I have recommended Providoor to several of my friends.”

“Most of the meals are too small for 2 people and with insufficient protein, like Christine Mansfields Chicken-shy curry. No vegetables included in any meal. Meatballs were gelatinous and inedible. Won't be ordering again. Much too basic”

“Written instructions should also be included. I brought some of these meals for my 94 year old father who is unable to,scan the bar code. As such he had the lemon chicken scallopini which turned our very dry, and what he thought was the sauce turned out to be mashed potato which he poured on top prior to heating in the oven. He heated it all for an hour. As you can imagine it didn't taste good at all. All other meals have been delicious, and will probably buy again.”

“Disappointed in the food. The moussaka was too rich and the beef bourguignon was soooo disappointing. The sauce was so runny it was more like soup! In the photo it looks like it includes mash potato, but it doesn’t!”
