“I've emailed repeatedly about an issue with the item we ordered (via the website and the customer service site), and haven't heard back. The product was not advertised accurately and nothing has been done to address this.”

“Goods received were defective. The thread on one of the corners of the throw was frayed and the item was returned to Kilkenny Shop in Stillorgan.”

“I purchased what I thought was a Castle Arch green vase ( for a person whose favourite colour is green ) as a gift to send abroad. The vase turned out to be blue, nothing like the picture advertised. I emailed the shop and got nowhere. I was told I could return it but this was not an option as it was a gift and also sent abroad so impossible to return. I was also very annoyed that I wrote a gift message as instructed and this was not included with the vase and in fact the price sticker was still on the vase when it arrived. Totally unacceptable from an upmarket shop. Needless to say I won't be ordering online from Kilkenny Design any time soon.”

“My vase was purchased as a replacement to one that I had broken and it looks just like the original. It arrived promptly and was packaged so well, there was no way anyone could have broken it in transit. The price was great as is the quality. Would definitely look to ordering again”

“I waited approx 3 weeks, got no response, when I eventually made contact a gentleman said he could see my order and it is still in the store, I asked him to please dispatch it to me, he didn't,totally disappointed, never again,”

“While vacationing in France I discovered the fragrance of Max Benjamin Pink Peony diffuser. …the beautiful guest house we stayed in smelled like a garden! After returning home to the United States I located it online being sold at the Kilkenny Shop in Ireland…ordering from them online was clear and easy. They communicated with me at every step of ordering and my well packaged fragrance package arrived quickly. Now I am reminded of my vacation every day! Thank you Kilkenny Shop! P.S. I did some browsing in their online store and I will be returning soon for more authentic Irish gifts.”
