I recently purchased a few Christmas gifts online from the Kilkenny Shop. Upon receiving them I was happy with the majority of my puchases. However, there was one item that I was unhappy with. It was a 'Tipperary' branded tree ornament. The quality was not what I expected, especially as I was intending to gift the item. When I raised a ticket with the Customer Care team online I found their response to be less than helpful and it did not address my complaint. When I responded stating that I would ideally like a replacement I was told the item was out of stock and that was the end of the conversation. I was really disappointed with this. To be fair, I have always had a positive experience when shopping with the Kilkenny Shop on previous occasions. It is just a pity that this occasion has made me question their quality and customer care overall. If you can't view the quality of the products in store then I would be reluctant to recommend anyone buy online due to the lack of real care when raising an issue.

What I ordered looked like it had just been thrown into the box. I had ordered candles as gifts & the kids of the boxes were partly open. I also ordered a cushion & that was stuffed in. It was very disappointing.

The items were not wrapped they just had brown paper in the box with them. The box was too big for the items. GLS delivered the box which was totally bashed on all sides. Fragile was written on the tape only but no care was taken. Out of 7 items 3 were not fit to give as presents. After numerous phone calls and emails it ended up replacements were sent by A Post and they were amazingly wrapped up in the correct sized box 👏 GLS said they called twice for the return items but they never did as I was at home the whole time after having a total knee replacement. The whole experience was solved in the end. I have another parcel being delivered from GLS from Kilkenny today so hopefully it will be ok. Normally I would not do so much on line but due to the operation navigating on crutches around the busy shops it was easier this year to get them delivered or so I thought.

My order was handled quickly and easily but I wanted an electric setup for U.S. connections, was told it only came with U.K. connection. I had to buy the U.S. electric directly from Belleek (30 euro) after being told by Kilkenny Design that it only came with U.K. Won't be shopping here again.

The item I purchased online and received was perfect but the packaging was extremely disappointing, there is no branding on the box of the bracelet and considering it is a gift for someone else I am disappointed. I contacted customer service by email but unfortunately no reply. The products from Kilkenny Shop are all beautiful, I have purchased items previously and never had any issues but on this occasion customer service is not up to scratch

Ordered online - very happy with the products and how they were packed. Unfortunately it took a full week for delivery from Dublin to Dublin.

The dress I purchased is lovely but is wrongly sized. I ordered a 16/18 size but dress is actually an 18/20 size. I am very disappointed

Ordering was easy but there was nearly a two week delay in delivery - that is understandable if it has to be ordered in but I didn’t find this out until I emailed to see what the delay was. I feel that should have been communicated sooner to me. Thank you.

It took 3 deliveries and several online contacts to receive the purchased item without damage. The 1st delivery of a glass Jewellery box was cracked and the 2nd arrived in a very dangerous state - completely smashed. Following online and telephone contact with a very nice lady the item arrived in perfect condition on the 3rd attempt.

To shop personally in Kilkenny shop is a pleasure, beautiful store, lovely stock onlii ok be for me was a nightmare. Wrong information given by telephonist was the start of it . I’d never shop online again

Product is fine. But when delivery and associated cost amount to 1 Euro less than the purchased item cost (54 Euro purchase) why would bother to be a customer moving forward.

My parcel never arrived ( via GLS delivery) After much frustration with GLS service I Eventually got lovely Kilkenny Design assistant ( cork office?) thru your helpline - who sent a substitute parcel asap. But it did take almost 3 weeks in total Totally missed the birthday for which the gift was bought.
