Hi there, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been left without any updates regarding the Galway shop. We understand how important timely information is, and your feedback has been noted. I completely understand that the changes to the store came as a surprise, particularly if you have been accustomed to browsing our wider range of gifts, artwork, jewellery and homeware over the years. The decision to change the product mix in our Galway store was made following a trial last year, which proved to be very successful. As the store is located in a busy tourist area, we have adapted the range to better cater for the main customer base in that location. While this has been well received overall, we do appreciate that it means our local customers may not find the same selection they have enjoyed in the past. As we move towards the Christmas season, the store will once again stock our Christmas gift collections and gift sets, providing a much broader selection for seasonal shopping. In the meantime, if there is a particular item you are looking for that is not available in the Galway store, our team would be more than happy to assist you with our Store to Door service. This allows us to arrange for products from another Kilkenny Shop location to be delivered directly to your home, ensuring you still have access to our full range. We genuinely value your feedback, and I will ensure your comments are shared with our retail and buying teams. “I have ordered BM car air freshener from multiple suppliers never were charged over £12 Unfortunately, I paid through Apple pay and once I noticed the delivery charge called the customer service to cancel my order, literally 2 minutes from ordering was placed and were told that it is not possible to cancel and I should send it back when arrived , which means to pay for further delivery to return! Over all delivery charge was not justified.”

However, it had been stated to you that you may refuse delivery which is no extra cost to have it returned. Our customer service team responded the same day stating it had already been dispatched. Unfortunately once dispatched we must let the courier's delivery run it's course. “I placed an order on the 4th of May but did not receive any tracking info so I emailed to enquire on the 8th of May. I received an email back on the 11th of May informing me that one of the products I ordered was out of stock and my order would be sent that week. I waited until the 26th of May as I still had not received my order and it was passed the agreed upon time. I emailed again and received an email that day saying again that it was out of stock but that it had been dispatched on the 26th of May. My order was finally delivered on the 28th of May, 24 days after ordering which is unacceptable, especially within Ireland. I was not offered a refund or partial refund even though this was far beyond the timeframe my order was promised.”

“Forms were not filled out properly for customs. I have still yet to receive a large order! I had to contact the store to make them aware of the situation. I'm the customer not customer service! Very disappointed and still waiting!”

“It took 4 days before my request was processed. Eventually, Laura in Cork customer care came to my rescue. The retail shop in Nassau St had no interest whatsoever when I called to complain.”

“Following up to say that I wrote to info@kilkennygroup.com twice and the message bounced. The item seems to still be in the warehouse. “Order #440016620 Tracking UPS 1ZE77J710438919032 placed order 3/20 today is 4/7 I even called Dublin customer service but rep disconnected the call. I just gave her my name and order #. She disconnected. What is going on with package? And why would any reputable company disconnect a call. I was calling from NY, USA at 6:42am. Unbelievable.”
