“I went into the Cork City store today to purchase gifts. I was waiting at the counter to be served, a lady came along and proceeded to ask who is next to the lady behind me fully aware that I was at the counter waiting, she then put the gifts in a bag, I had to ask for them to be wrapped in the tissue paper on the counter. She literally grabbed the paper and put the candle holders into it, I just felt it wasn't very nice customer service from her.”

“Big shout out to maire ann in the kilkenny branch for sourcing an item for me that i was told was (a) out of stock ...... (b) didnt get a call back from customer support as promised ..then was told in dublin we are too busy to look in stockroom!!! Thanks for saving christmas😁👍”

“Ordered four bottles of Christmas scent delivered, supposedly by GLS, after four days of GLS having no package delivery notification I contacted KILKENNY DESIGN and then told they were being sent by An Post with no explanation. When the package finally arrived they were four bottles of completely different scent ,not what was ordered,no explanation and no apology. Disappointed would be an understatement.”

“I recently purchased a few Christmas gifts online from the Kilkenny Shop. Upon receiving them I was happy with the majority of my puchases. However, there was one item that I was unhappy with. It was a 'Tipperary' branded tree ornament. The quality was not what I expected, especially as I was intending to gift the item. When I raised a ticket with the Customer Care team online I found their response to be less than helpful and it did not address my complaint. When I responded stating that I would ideally like a replacement I was told the item was out of stock and that was the end of the conversation. I was really disappointed with this. To be fair, I have always had a positive experience when shopping with the Kilkenny Shop on previous occasions. It is just a pity that this occasion has made me question their quality and customer care overall. If you can't view the quality of the products in store then I would be reluctant to recommend anyone buy online due to the lack of real care when raising an issue.”
