Hi there, I’m sorry to hear you’ve been left without any updates regarding the Galway shop. We understand how important timely information is, and your feedback has been noted. I completely understand that the changes to the store came as a surprise, particularly if you have been accustomed to browsing our wider range of gifts, artwork, jewellery and homeware over the years. The decision to change the product mix in our Galway store was made following a trial last year, which proved to be very successful. As the store is located in a busy tourist area, we have adapted the range to better cater for the main customer base in that location. While this has been well received overall, we do appreciate that it means our local customers may not find the same selection they have enjoyed in the past. As we move towards the Christmas season, the store will once again stock our Christmas gift collections and gift sets, providing a much broader selection for seasonal shopping. In the meantime, if there is a particular item you are looking for that is not available in the Galway store, our team would be more than happy to assist you with our Store to Door service. This allows us to arrange for products from another Kilkenny Shop location to be delivered directly to your home, ensuring you still have access to our full range. We genuinely value your feedback, and I will ensure your comments are shared with our retail and buying teams. “Happy with towels. Happy to get refund for 2 drinks cups as legally required for online purchases. Disappointed that incorrect engravings were put on each cup.”

“I have made a couple of online purchases at Kilkenny Shop. The website is easy to use and since I am in the USA the foreign transaction piece is very clear and comprehensive. Recently I received a broken item...the Customer Service team was quick to respond and immediately went forward with a replacement. This is old time service! And I'd reccomend this shop to everyone”

“The Killarney Crystal ware is beautiful, absolutely delighted with it. I had spotted the wine glasses elsewhere and decided to pick up the matching champagne, cocktail and tumbler glasses for my sideboard and they are just stunning with the gold trim. They were also on sale so they were excellent value for money and shipment was super quick.”

“Every purchase is outstanding. When I was at the Kilkenny shop I made two purchases but dud not have time to really shop! I got back to the States and explored the website. Ordered my "souvenirs" from NY and when my order arrived I was extremely happy.”

“Mail order with Kilkenny design is fine. I made my purchase and received it in good time and was very happy. However I would like to record that I am extremely disappointed that the shop in Galway is now gift shop only, selling mainly merchandise from Guinness. the variety that was once in that store is no longer available and this is a huge loss now to Galway, both locals and to tourists. I’m so disappointed.”

“I have ordered BM car air freshener from multiple suppliers never were charged over £12 Unfortunately, I paid through Apple pay and once I noticed the delivery charge called the customer service to cancel my order, literally 2 minutes from ordering was placed and were told that it is not possible to cancel and I should send it back when arrived , which means to pay for further delivery to return! Over all delivery charge was not justified.”

Hi there, I’m sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the timeline that our team responded to you. We always strive to keep our customers happy. However, it had been stated to you that you may refuse delivery which is no extra cost to have it returned. Our customer service team responded the same day stating it had already been dispatched. Unfortunately once dispatched we must let the courier's delivery run it's course. “Purchased as a gift, very pleased with prompt dispatch & delivery. It would be more exclusive if the company packaged the artists item in Kilkenny design branded packaging as per many high-end online retailers eg Aspinall London. At least for items bei g purchased from the retailer as gifts.”
