“My wife and I visited Southport today to pay our respects (Sunday 4th August 2024), we travelled from Bolton, when we arrived the tyre pressure light illuminated on the dash of our Fiat 500, I checked the pressures and found one of the rear tyres to be very low, as we do not have a spare in this model of car, we found the local Kwik Fit (Southport). The time was approx 14.40pm, I called in and spoke to a gentleman and explained that we were not from the area and we possibly had a puncture as I already checked the pressures and added air, he was very unsympathetic and told me that there was nothing he could do as they were too busy, I could see 2 vehicles in the bay and 2 staff. I left disgusted at the thought of him ignoring the fact that we could be stranded over 30 miles from hope. My local Kwik Fit in Bolton are fantastic, they would never leave someone stranded. Shame on you Kwik Fit Southport.”

“After taken the work van in a few months ago iv swore by this garage took my personal car in today with a nearly dead battery once again amazing service from the guys in this garage unfortunately Halfords had damaged my battery cover which made putting it back together a bit harder for them but they managed to get it on enough till i manage to get it changed Highly recommend this garage”

“My Experience with Quik Fit West Street, Fareham has been absolutely Superb. Problem started Sunday 22nd July when i had a tyre blow out near home. No spare wheel and Gunge useless. Quik Fit is only about a mile away so i decided to take it to them for repair/ replacement. I think Bradley the manager was initially bemused to find an 80+ guy turning up at his garage door with a damaged tyre in a wheelbarrow but he soon got stuck in to resolve the problem. After a few minutes on the PC Bradley said that particular tyre was not available but he would get in touch with his contacts in other tyre centers on Monday and if one was available he would take the wheel to them for replacement tyre. Turns out that particular tyre is not available in the UK even though the car, an MG ZS EV is only 2 years old Bradley managed to locate an almost identical same brand tyre and duly fitted. I said i would come in in the afternoon to settle up but Bradley said leave it to near 6pm when they close and he would take me and the wheel home and fit it for me. This he did even though it meant travelling in the the opposite direction to his normal journey home. What a star Bradley (5star more appropriate)... I will certainly use them again when i need to.”

“A funny thing happened to me at Kwik Fit recently. I took my car in for an MOT on June 12, 2025, and it failed due to a worn tyre and a rod end ball joint dust cover. They quoted me around £500 for the necessary repairs, which I paid. They changed three tyres, including the nearside rear tyre, and then retested the MOT. Here's where it gets interesting: despite supposedly changing the nearside rear tyre, they added an advisory note about a nail in that very same tyre! Now I'm left scratching my head, wondering if they actually did the work or if I'm just out £500 for nothing. I have all the evidence and the invoice to back this up. It looks like they didn’t do my first MOT properly and failed it just to make money on repairs. On the retest, they seem to have just copied and pasted without properly checking it. This whole experience has left me questioning their competence and honesty. I would advise others to be cautious and maybe think twice before using Kwik Fit for their MOT and repair needs.”

“Alim and Jan were wonderful dealing with my MOT. I have been going to Kwikfit in Holloway, London for years and always get the same considerate and expert service. Everyone working there seems happy. Obviously due to Alim’s excellent direction and attitude. Highly recommended .”

“I would like to offer a big 5 star thumbs up to kwikfit manager Ian Sexton for taking the time and trouble to replace my headlight bulb despite about to close up shop. The bulb had literally blown on my way home from work and I popped into kwikfit simply hoping to arrange to have it fixed as soon as there was a free appointment space. Ian asked me to pop the car in there and then and replaced the bulb for me! I didn’t have my card on me but he just asked me to offer a review and that would be fine. You don’t get service like this very often these days…..a big shout out to a genuinely nice guy. Thanks Ian! Gary Radley”

“Do not use Kwikfit. Took my car for Mot, it fail on ball joint rubber cover. Was quoted £200 for part & repair. After a week of waiting for them to get the rubber covering. Ordered one myself, it cost £8 including postage. Took my car to another two garages and there is nothing wrong with it, went straight through the Mot. I have used Kwikfit in the past. But never again. They are a rip off garage. Do Not Use...”

“Car was in kwik fit bridge st paisley this morning for two tyres, I told the staff member I was heading to Newcastle later today and he said he would give me a complimentary fluids check to make sure everything was OK. I thought this was a really nice touch by the guy and much appreciated, he also got the job done quickly so I could be on my way. Please pass on my thanks to your staff in Paisley.”

“The service was efficient and an all round decent experience. I’ve been going to the Leven garage for years and they have never let me down. They, (especially Graham McL) are genuine men who wants to help with advice and Graham McL is one of the reasons I keep going back. We’re all mostly in a credit crunch but the finance package they offer through bumper has helped me out a lot. Happy, friendly and decent staff are a rare commodity nowadays but you get that from KwikFit Leven centre. They always offer to check my tyres for me as I’m disabled and find that difficult to do for myself. Sure… I’ve got an old car and it’s now costing money to repair but that’s not Kwikfits fault. I champion this garage. Well done and thank you KwikFit Leven. See you at MOT time 😊.”
