"First time sowing a lawn in an area previously used as a litter tray by cour cats. Used lawnsmith starter fertiliser first, seeded lawn and covered with bit of compost and put fleece over to protect from the cats and sun, watered 2 times a day and then took fleece off 2 weeks later as could see grass underneath had taken well."

Good new shoots in all areas of the garden including the rear that gets almost no sunlight all day. \r\n\r\nWe did a new lawn. Weeded, levelled, top soil and watered for a couple of days before seeding by hand then raking a thin layer of compost over it. The compost layer and a few pinwheels kept the birds away. Hardly had any bothering the seeds. \r\nCan\u2019t wait to see how it progresses. But really pleased already"
