About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I bought these to keep by the back door when my usual clogs won’t cope with the wet lawn. I have had a pair of classic Chameau boots for nearly 20 years and I wanted a shorter pair/ These slip on and off easily; the leg is quite a soft rubber so they’re comfortable for gardening. Excellent quality.”

“I ordered the same size as last time but the were much much tighter. I’ll need to go up a size next time. So disappointed they are too small really. Love the colour. I also think pulling them off with a boot Jack, strains the join between the sole and the upper part. I will order again but will go up a size.”

“Very comfy boots, though I had to put an additional insole in them to make them fit perfectly as I'm always between sizes. Very happy with them - sturdy enough for muddy walks in the woods, and classy enough (when cleaned up!) for a trip to the city.”

“I need every year one pair of these boots because I am a farmer and I wear them every day. They are very comfortable and I have no sweaty feet. The onliest disadvantage is, that they break down after a year at the latest. This year it was not possible to get them in Germany. I have to order them in France. All in all, I am satisfied”
