About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I have purchased the older product in the past. It has become my go to boot for hunting. The new boot lets me down because it does not have a side zipper to access the boot without having to Pull like crazy to get your foot in. The new boot has a side strap that doesn't do anything to help with access. They have these small side straps to aid in getting the boot on. the staps do not look sturdy enough to last very long. I am disappointed.”

“Bought my last Le Chameau boots about four years ago and have worn almost every day walking the dog and in the garden - necessity as I live in Scotland. As these have now been relegated to gardening only, I purchased the same boots again because they are so comfortable and good for walking and also stylish. Well made, rubber, and also made in Europe which is a bonus. Best wellington boots I have ever worn”

“These were for my wife who is fortunate enough to fit into children’s boots. She claims they’re the comfiest she’s ever worn. Normally she’s in Aigles but going forward this will always be the boot of choice. Thanks”

“Ok but I used the size guide and they recommended up a size and men’s for some reason so I presumed the sizes had changed. They are a too big and quite Chucky and squeaky which is a shame”
