About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“These boots fit well (not too loose or tight) and were comfortable to wear straight away. They are certainly expensive so you would need to be sure that was the case before hanging on to them.”

“I purchased this bed with high hopes. It looks very nice however I’ve been very disappointed with how thin inner cushion is. When you press down on this you feel the floor underneath. The only way out dog will use it is if we had extra padding underneath the cushion. I can see you have replied to my review but there is no obvious way to reply to you. Please can you help ?”

“I had a pair of Barbour Wellies for years but they finally gave out so I needed to purchase a new pair. I did some research on Wellington boots and decided to give Le Chameau Wellies a try because of their history, reviews and I just liked the way they looked. I received them recently and the workmanship is excellent, the fit is perfect and they are very comfortable. I highly recommend Le Chameau Wellies.”

“I bought these boots, 6 weeks after a full hip replacement - desperate to walk the dogs again and keen to avoid my wellies! I'm thrilled with them, so comfortable and plenty of support - I could honestly walk all day in them. They've played a key part in my recovery.”

“Removing/taking the boots off are very difficult to the point - you have to get someone to pull them off your feet. If they had a zipper to open them up would help. Otherwise very comfortable. Not sure I had purchased the right boot carrier but struggle to get them inside the bag.”

“I bought these boots to replace a pair I had lost. Unfortunately I was disappointed to find the quality not the same as previous boots. The rubber is inferior, lighter and less robust. Disappointed with the purchase.”

“As all other comments. Really comfy. I have rugby calves so wellies are a nightmare. Le Chameau however with their choice of calf size allows me to own a pair of wellies that give me plenty of room at the calf. Expensive. But. I am worth it.”
