About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“I bought my second set of these boots some 15 years after my first pair. Pretty amazing longevity for a pair of boots which pretty much walked a dog daily during that time. FWIW I'm a UK9.5 and the EU43's are a perfect fit for me.”

“I'm satisfied with my boots. They're stylish while still being useful for chores and the outdoors, and after a period of breaking-in they can fit my trouser and jean legs down them. I wish they came in something larger than the standard fit.”

“The quality is poor compared to the pair bought approximately 5 years ago. They are not as comfortable and the sizing has changed. I had to return my pair and buy a larger size compared to my previous ones. Also the grip is inferior. I slipped and fell which had never happened before. Please go back to the quality of the boots of 5 or 6 years ago.”

“Absolutely fantastic! I’ll use them for gardening mainly. They are easy to slip on and so light and comfortable. It feels like walking on air! Good grip when it’s muddy. I would highly recommend this little gem!”
