About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“The BEST... finally found the boots that I am happy to wear!!!.... after sooo many times of "try it and it doesn't fit or falls apart after 2 years or these just look bad". The sole is tough and soft just like I am.”

“I thought I'd treat myself to a pair of posh wellies for Christmas. I can't really fault them but then they are just wellies at the end of the day and I'm not 100% sure they warrant the hype, just yet. Let's see how they are in five years or so. I'll be better able to give some valued feedback then.”

“Really pleased with my purchase. They had a little bit of glue on them that after a few weeks wear you can’t even see. They are the comfiest wellies and I use them all the time for walking the dog.”

“I always wanted a pair of these and whilst I’m happy with them for going into the garden, I probably ordered them a size too big for me. Lesson learned for next time. Comfortable and warm so may buy another pair for my summer house as well.”

“Love these boots, wear them all year round. Only slight criticism is that on my previous pair the inner lining has gone into holes before the outside has worn out. They have lasted at least 3 years though with very regular use.”

“Work outside and fed up with wet feet so got the ankle boots and they are comfortable, keep my feet dry,easy to slip on and have a good grip.Happy days!”

“item exactly as described, quick delivery in lovely packaging. The Chelsea boots are warm in winter ( no need for thick socks so buy right size) and are great for autumn and spring too. Leather is lovely but keeps it's form, the sole is comfortable and cushioned even after significant use. Buy once buy right!”
