About Le Chameau:

Le Chameau are the only rubber boots to be handmade by a single master bootmaker, each pair is unique. Using the highest quality materials and with a range of iconic and innovative styles, Le Chameau Maîtres Bottiers have been making our boots by hand for over 90 years. Every Le Chameau boot is constructed by one Maîtres Bottier. In order to become a Maîtres Bottier it takes 9 months of training before they are permitted to construct their first rubber boot.

“Loved the look of the 3 navy beds o bought when they arrived. Very strong and well made. However even though I have Westies that don’t shed, they fabric clings to every hair and is impossible to brush off. Nothing works. They just look shabby after use”

“I am very disappointed with my boots. They do not hold my foot firmly in the boot which resulted in my foot slipping around when walking on unlevel ground. I have decided not to wear them again in case I sprain an ankle. I have worn short boots like those for years but the first time I’ve tried le Chameau. I have replaced them with a pair from Joules - however I adored the colour.”

“Love these boots!!! They are perfect for work on my farm and very comfortable. I recently took a 3 mile walk in the rain over rocky, hilly terrain. My feet felt great!!!”
