“It is just a flat foam pillow. I have tried some others with better shape. it is ok to sleep on the side but far too firm to sleep on the back.
Like a lot of foam mattresses or pillows, there is a very strong smell when they are brand new but this one still smells after 10 days whereas I have aired it a lot.
Quite disappointing for the price.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We don't cut the pillows into funky shapes as it's unnecessary, so you are right that it's just a flat foam pillow - with the right properties, a flat foam pillow is all you need. :)
The size you have purchased is more suitable for back sleeping, rather than side sleeping (unless you're below 5'1), if you are finding it too firm then I'd suggest making sure it's just your head on the pillow, rather than the shoulders as well.

“Initially purchased for my husband but he found it slightly too firm. Having tried many different pillows myself and always preferring a slightly softer one I’ve always found I wake up to adjust my pillow or find my head /neck in an uncomfortable position. After using the back sleeper pillow myself for a few nights it quickly benefitted my neck and shoulder niggles and removed the need to manipulate my pillow, so has helped to provide a more comfortable nights sleep. My husband is considering trying the side sleeper pillow and bearing with it for a week or two in the hope he gets used to the slightly firmer feel after seeing the benefits I’ve had.”

There is a strong foam smell when you first receive it. I thought it would put me off. But if you air it for a few days before you use it, it helps. And I've had mine for over a month now and can barely smell anything. Just be patient! The customer service is great too. All very helpful.”
