“Avoid this company at all cost.we have twice had to report them For giving insurance to someone using our address to gain motorcycle Insurance. Their response to us useless,saying in July our address would be flagged and monitored for 6 months to stop it happening again, low and behold we have just received another policy taken out By the same person again using our address… Have now reported this to home office as we feel illegal working is at the bottom of this. This company does not carry out due diligence, do not ask for documents ie household bill etc to prove your name against address, this would and should be a basic requirement.”

“avoid this company at all cost, a bunch of crooks. The fees are insane and customer service is awful Was on hold for 40 mins to speak to an advisor. a policy which cost £950 for the year after only 29 days i got a refund of £560. absolute jokers. honestly pay a bit extra and be happy. Will never use this company ever again.”

“The phone line takes forever to be answered every time i called i was on hold a minimum 45minutes, very quick though to refund my money when i cancelled my policy”

“Hi, I am very disappointed by my renewal this year. My insurance skyrocketed in price, I have a small electric moped and I paid £400 this year for a basic coverage. I have no words, no alternative and zero effort to propose a decent price was done. How could you be proud of that kind of service, I don’t know. From £136 to £440 in one year. My husband has a 600cc petrol motorbike and paid half what I paid for his insurance. My electric bike is worth 10 time less than his bike. I don’t understand. Laurence Ruidant”

“Brought through go compare on which I selected payment date of 31st of the month,then once I joined they set my first payment date to half way through the month, so I ended paying 200 pounds off in the first month then have 9 payments remaining over 12 months, not ideal then was told this was all in the small print in t&c, not ideal when I have just purchased a new bike, would have gone with other insurance if this was made clear on go compare”

“I’ve been with Lexham Insurance for a year. No claims have been made but when they send the renewal through it’s risen by £200. Like a lot of insurance companies they will try and a get more money out of existing customers. My advice is shop around. Even when I shopped around as a new user Lexham’s own system quoted me a cheaper price than their own renewal quote”

“very bad service. my bike has been stolen they rejected claim. I took this insurance through call only customer service never said that we have to keep additional lock all the time. they are finding reason to reject claim. last 2 year I paid without missing a single day. really useless”
