If I could have chosen zero stars I would have. I wrote an email to send to LG outlining my horrible experience with them. I called customer service to get an email address and they told me there isn't one. Here is the email. "My refrigerator, which I purchased on July 11, 2018, stopped cooling on Saturday, May 18, 2024. I called customer service on Monday, May 20, to schedule a repair since the compressor was still under warranty. I was told National Platinum Service would be calling me for an appointment. I made a payment of $516.35. National Platinum Service never called me back because they do not exist in Knoxville,Tennessee. You would think that this would be information you would already have. Between Monday, May 20 and Friday, May 25, I called your company sixteen times to try to get this issue resolved. I spent hours on the phone with Shawn, Paul, Jean, Ash, Jay and Franz. I was told several times that upper management would receive an email and that it would take 2 to 3 business days for them to respond. What kind of customer service is that? Franz was finally able to cancel the work order so I wouldn't be charged. He offered to have your technicians come and fix my refrigerator but the first available appointment was on May 31. That would be two weeks after my refrigerator broke down. Waiting that amount of time is totally unacceptable. I called a local company today and set up an appointment for 2 days from now. I would rather pay for my own compressor than deal with your company any further. I would like to add that all of the associates I spoke with were patient and attentive and tried their best to fix my problem. They are your greatest asset. Other than your call center employees, I find your company to be completely inept. I will be leaving a very strongly worded google review and all of my friends and family are going to hear about this."

Customer service through LG is a freaking joke. I contacted them and made a repair request because my air conditioner plug melted. The next day I checked on my repair request to find it was canceled. Contacted Customer service again, they said they couldn't find out why it was canceled, but I should be eligible for a refund that they would look into it and text me. Next day I got ahold of them again, they said a new repair request was put in and they had personally contacted the repair guy to see what was going in. Next day I contacted the repair guy they gave me the number for and he had no idea about my repair and had not heard from lg. Worst customer service ever.

My refrigerator that I brought is only 8 months old they came out to repair it 4times still on manufacture warranty do they decided to replace it it’s been 1month went through all the process my kids food is still spoiling I haven’t got a refund yet for a new region calling everyday a gentlemen from life is good called back and asked me why I didn’t use the method direct deposit I told him I didn’t know it was a option told me he would get back with me it’s been 2weeks have not heard anything so how is life good ????????

Bought portable air conditioner 7/31/2022. Box was unopened. We found it was missing the window plate and diffuser. After dozens of calls and numerous deliveries of wrong parts we received correct parts the following winter. Used it for summer of 2023 then it quit. Assurances to send repair person NEVER came to fruition. Wasted $400. Have put in further complaints to no avail. ????

I purchased two split AC units (1.5 ton and 2 ton) on April 5, 2024. After just a month, both units stopped cooling effectively. I reported the issue to customer care, and two technicians from GLOBAL AIRCON SERVICE were sent to fix it. The technicians determined that the temperature was fluctuating due to the placement of the exhaust, which they had installed themselves after a two-hour argument about the correct positioning. Despite their efforts, the problem persists. When I escalated the issue to the manager, Danish, he dismissively claimed that the AC units were ineffective because of the hot weather and said it was not their problem. Additionally, he behaved rudely and shouted at me. To date, the issue remains unresolved, and I feel harassed as a customer. I expected better service and support, and this experience has been extremely disappointing.

I have been trying to get the bracket for my ice maker kit since the end of March when my LG Refrigerator was delivered it is now May 20th and still told the missing bracket for LK65C Assembly Kit Icemaker is still on backorder. This ice maker kit as well as all others are missing this bracket that's needed to correctly install. Even had the nerve to recommend me ordering from somewhere else even though everything is already paid for. Very horrible

Four years and seven compressors and numerous other parts replaced and still have a refrigerator I can't trust..I've lost more food than I paid for the refrigerator..Now I have damag to my floor because of the leaking compressor..

Sold me 2 tvs,one does not even turn on. They want to repair it,I don't want a repair it's a new TV! I will be filing a lawsuit against this fraudulent company.

First, I could not understand the agent. I had to ask her to speak slowly and clearly. Second, she had trouble understanding what I described as the problem. I had to do that several times.. We had to unplug the washer turn off the breaker wait turn it back on and try it again. Everything was fine but when we asked why this happened she kept asking us if we had a glitch. We said we didn’t know if we had a glitch that’s what we were trying to find out from her. then when my husband asked if someone could check this out because the washer is not a year old yet she said we would have to pay to have somebody look at it since the problem was resolved. When he said OK, how much will that cost she said I cannot tell you. It just seems like we hit a lot of walls in this interaction with the LG agent. When we hung up, we were happy to have the problem resolved, which seemed to be that the controls had frozen up. But we didn’t feel satisfied with our interaction and didn’t feel very good about LG. In fact, I remarked that I didn’t think I would do business with LG ever again. Do they care? I really doubt it.

Atrocious customer service! LG’s warranty and extended warranty mean NOTHING. I feel ripped of and traumatised after dealing with their customer service. It is unbelievable!

I called customer service to set up an appointment to repair my oven. The man hooked me up with somebody from the Philippines and this person from the Philippines said I would need to give them my credit card number and put up $401 before before the repairman even arrived, I have never heard of this. I worry about the type of people who handling these service repair calls are even took and made a second call Nasta if I could speak to the supervisor, she put me off like six times wrote her nose and said the supervisor will call me they never did , somethings up with that. I’m gonna call corporate tomorrow.

Very experienced with LG product. I have LG fridge in warranty . I complaint to Chandigarh service centre but they are not reply me . Problem faced from 11 may 2024 , no one response me properly and move my complaint one person to another so very bad service.don't buy any LG product. I also file a case in consumer court.

Very worst water purifier complaints before one year.very very bad experience from the service from the company.worst products waste of time money,and your valuable time .very poor service from service team .Please think before put head into LG products very bad experience.Putting money in waste basket is better than buy a LG PRODUCT.

LG worse products and company. Bought a new dryer, not working, contacted them and they exchanged with another bad one. After so many press, they agreed to give me a credit on my LG and at the end of the day there are eligible products that the credit can buy on their website. They limited you on what you can buy with your credit despite the fact that you can not use it at any other place or store than lg.

I purchased a New oven in November of 2022 with an extended Protection Plan. After 5 months the glass top cracked while making a soup. It took weeks to get the top replaced and then left me with the Bad Top. Now its May 2024 and the glass top went again. Thinking thank God I have my Protection Plan, only to find out its not covered! Now its considered Cosmetic Damage and not Covered under the Plan.

My Refrigerator has cooling issues in 1.5 years, the service centre technician will not provide you the spare part cost, they will say 708 rs service charge and parts extra, for parts they will charge you 4 times more than market price , LG has to set spare parts price so that customer will come to know the cost before repairs, I will not buy anymore LG products because of their poor after sales support.

Purchased LG refrigerator in 2018….freezer not freezing…..wanted over $500 to assess if a compressor issue-Although compressor covered could cost more to replace if that’s the actual issue….otherwise total repair cost is on owner. Hard to believe an appliance this expensive doesn’t last more than 6 yrs….crappy product. Microwave went out in 4yrs. Dishwasher malfunction in 3 yrs….Never will purchase LG again. Buyer beware!

Bought a brand new washer/dryer set with a 1yr manufacturer warranty ontop of a second warranty that I purchased on 3/18/24. 31 days later the dryer quit working. It took phone calls everyday to LG customer support for another 30 days before they would even send a tech to come LOOK at it. The tech said he was unable to order the part(needs a new motherboard) as it was unavailable to him. We contacted LG back they gave us the run around for another 2 weeks before they finally scheduled ANOTHER tech to come "look" at it, like the first one didn't know what he was doing? Well this "new" tech isn't supposed to arrive yet for ANOTHER 2 weeks. I'm done pissing around with this company and contacted the place I purchased the set through and got them on it. Needless to say they are coming to get the unit today on 05/10/2024 to take it back to their store and replace it by tomorrow while LG has to reimburse them for the unit. Never again will I buy another LG product. They suck, and the customer service sucks(if you or they can even understand one another). Stay as far away from this company as possible if you'd like to avoid headaches. Not worth your money, time or sanity.

LG customer service is terrible. After trying all of the trouble shooting tips that are recommended with no success I made the mistake of chatting with a live agent. Didn't read well as he advised me to try all trouble shooting tips that I told him I had already tried numerous times. He then recommended LG authorized service and after reading those reviews I chose to pass. Next TV will be a Samsung or Vizio. LG...you suck!
