Washer drum bearing going out after 5 years 5 months. No replacement part available. Refrigerator stainless steel so flimsy a minor bump results in dents. Will not purchase LG in the future

Will never work with LG again. I had a microwave that should have been installed with the fan positioning the front to recirculate. I am now selling my home and was asked where is the vent exhaust. I call LG to see if they can diagnose and fix the problem. They first want to charge me almost $450 just to come out. Then the I tell the guy what's going on as he texts me before coming and he stated it would be better to just buy another microwave so I cancel the job before they take my money. Mind you, this tech came to my home before and should have known the fan was installed improperly as I do not have an exhaust system in my home as the back of my microwave faces the garage. I call an apliancr guy and he charged me $175 to diagnose the problem then converted the fan for me. Now the problem is fixed easily. So disappointed in LG and Home Depot ad I bought the system from Home Depot and those guys did not install the system properly either.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the after-sales service I have received. Firstly, my overall after-sales service experience has been extremely poor. Additionally, the behavior of the support engineer was unprofessional and disappointing. I had purchased a 55-inch TV for ₹45,000. Recently, the panel was damaged, and when I raised a complaint, I was provided with a quotation of ₹29,600 for the repair, which is approximately 70% of the original purchase price. When I questioned the high cost, I was told that I could either proceed with the repair at the quoted price or have my complaint closed. It appears that customers are being forced to accept such high quotations, as there are no alternative options available. Customers are also unable to purchase parts from other sources. Furthermore, my experience with customer care has also been frustrating. Initially, the call connects, but when I request to speak with a senior representative, I am kept on hold for up to 45 minutes without any response. Eventually, I am forced to disconnect the call out of frustration. This has happened repeatedly. Overall, I regret purchasing this product, as the service experience has been highly unsatisfactory. I request you to look into this matter and provide a fair resolution.

LG customer service sucks, I was asking for a supervisor because clearly the agent was not capable of handling simple and direct questions. It took me 21 times asking for a supervisor and waiting for 3 long hours but no one truly cares. They don't deserve a star.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy ANYTHING LG. We made the mistake of getting all LG products for our kitchen and a washer and dryer. In less that 5 years, the stove broke and the microwave. They wanted over $600 to repair one burner so we just got a new one but got a completely different brand. The customer service is infuriating and their warranties are a joke. They will "cover the part" but you can't just get the part and fix it yourself or get your own technician. You have to get the part through their chosen technician and the labor starts at $350. Save yourself money and frustration and avoid LG at all costs.

LG has the worst customer service you will ever encounter. I have had an LG microwavemodel MVEM1721F for 1 year and 4 warranty repairs. They refuse to send receipts/invoices for the work performed. They do not communicate at all. The customer service center will tell you there is a fee for changing/canceling appointments but when they can not make the their appointment it is too bad, you get nothing ! The repair person, who we got to know too well from all the visits, was very nice. Any rep at LG on the phone is terrible, again never sending proof, no invoices. Horrible company

Wow, I am surprised to see so many negative comments from people who have actually had issues with this product! Had I known, I never would have recommended that my client purchase four LG appliances from Lowe's, especially since the dishwasher they received turned out to be defective—it arrived infested with pests and had damaged wiring! LG refuses to either replace the unit or repair it. It hasn't worked a single day since it was installed! As a contractor, I do not recommend that my clients purchase LG appliances; instead, I recommend other brands that are superior to LG. Don’t waste your time and your money on this kind of product

Do not buy. I've had my machine for 6 months. It broke 2 months ago and it is still broke. The company refused to come out to look at it until I threatened with bad reviews. Someone came out. It is still broken. It is to the point where I am asking for a refund, which they haven't given. The presidential liason team is apparently supposed to call me, but they never do. I don't believe them at this point They have terrible customers service! I would never buy anything from LG again! If I could give the customer service a negative star, I would!

Worst customer service. We have been using all LG products washer dryer, Refrigerator, TV. But the customer service really sucks. They just have script and telling the same thing again and again without understanding customer issues. Not recommended. I hate them.

My machine broke over a month ago. All I could talk to it was an AI. Nobody would come out to even look at my machine until recently. It's still broken! They won't do anything to make this right! I'm expecting them to give me a new machine! I do not recommend this company and I will never buy anything from them again!

I’ve bee buying LG products for years. Installed a new LG dryer with a manufacturing defect that prevented the door close sensor from connecting properly to the door. It was a misaligned latch screw hole. After LG warranty service jerked me around for 3 weeks because they couldn’t find a servicer in my area, they want me to NOW send them a copy of my receipt. I finally resolved the problem myself - no thanks to LG. I will definitely think twice about buying another LG product. Buyer beware!!

Lousy customer service. The ice maket on our 8 month old LG refrigerator quit working 3 weeks ago. . We have called them 4 times only to be told that a repair person would call us back. No call back and no repair. I will never buy another LG appliance. My son is in the market for a new frig. It WILL NOT BE AN LG.

LG TV 86inh under warranty and they refuse to fix it this quality of screen completely normal to whats represented this company. Useless service useless products and useless managers from LG.

Worst company do not waste your money refrigerator in three years broke 3 times and worst costumer service. I spend $3000 for refrigerator and already broke 3 times.

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing an LG washing machine based on my experience. My machine has had constant faults since purchase,( March 2024) including severe noise and banging during the spin cycle and clothes coming out extremely wet even after a 1400 spin. Because of this, we often have to run the spin cycle 2–3 times, otherwise the clothes smell damp when drying. LG have sent out 3–4 different engineers. Each time they reported that nothing was wrong, despite the issues clearly continuing. One engineer even placed cardboard under the feet of the machine to try and “balance” it, which made absolutely no difference to the noise. During the latest visit, an engineer said the dashboard/control panel needed replacing. This contradicted previous engineers who insisted there were no faults. Another report stated that a pump had been supplied and fitted, which never actually happened. When I raised this with an LG manager, he repeatedly insisted the repair had been completed and logged by the engineer. The following day I received a message saying there had been a “system glitch” and that no pump had been installed after all. The control board was eventually replaced outside of the 7-day replacement period. LG then informed Currys that this was my fault because I had cancelled and rebooked an appointment, which is completely untrue. There has been a lot of back and forth between LG and Currys. Currys advised that they would have written the machine off, but LG refused. I have now been told there is nothing wrong with the machine and that they will not repair or replace anything — despite the faults still continuing. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience with poor communication, contradictory engineer reports, and no resolution to an ongoing fault. Currys have now informed me that I have to wait for a letter for an external/ independent complaint process.

Would never, ever buy any LG products again in future. Especially a any kitchen appliance. Our refrigerator stopped working after 6 years! It was expensive and we had to use a cooler for weeks. We paid a one time high fee to have LG service come out who they send and were told it was “ unrepairable” They never let you talk to a higher up, they promised me store credit towards a new one but they never followed through! They lied every time I called, they said someone from the presidential team will call you. It has been weeks and NO calls from that team, no reply's. They continued to lie everyday I called, they never called me back or gave me any store credit! We had to go get another refrigerator and for sure would never ever buy any LG product ever again. Will also spread the word to all as well. You never would want to deal with that kind of company nor buy their junk products! The worst!

The customer service is so terrible that it’s not worth buying their products. They didn’t honor the warranty on my air purifier because it was purchased on Amazon, even though Amazon advertises the warranty. They said they’d sent me a replacement part and they sent it to the wrong address. Then they sent me the wrong part altogether. I worked with 5 different agents over 1 month, via telephone and live chat, and my issue is still not solved.
