I do not know where to start. My LG top load washing machine was purchased in January from Lowes. My review has nothing to do with the quality of the machine. I am writing to share the absolute horrendous customer service I experienced. I am hoping someone from LG reads this and is able to make changes to their deplorable service. About ten days into using the machine I noticed water on the floor. It was coming from a small hole in the drain hose. I called Lowes, and was told I had to call LG because the machine was under warranty. I called LG and spoke to a customer service rep who set up an appointment with their authorized service center for February 13th between 8am-12pm. No one showed. I called LG and was told maybe they were running late and he should be there by 5. No one showed. I called LG that night and was told they would cancel my repair order and that it would take 24 hours before a new repair order could be scheduled and that I would have to call back to place the new order. The next day at 5:00 I received a call from the service center saying he received a repair order the day before, but that it was now canceled. He was more confused than I was. That night I called LG to schedule a new appointment. The rep kept telling me my appointment was canceled. While I am on the phone with a live rep, my husband is on a chat with another rep. That individual gave him the number to the service center and said to make the appointment directly with them. While all this back and forth is going on with no resolution, I am getting multiple texts from LG asking for feedback as to my "satisfaction." Another appointment was scheduled through LG, and again, he's a no show. The next day I called the service center directly and got someone who could not schedule my appointment because the schedular was out. At some point he did reach out through a text and scheduled another appointment. The night before the appointment, I sent a text back to the repair service and sent the model number of my washer along with a text saying to please bring a drain hose as it needs to be replaced. He got back to me and said it has to be ordered and that he would let me know when he receives it to set up an appointment for it to be installed. Today is March 13th and I am still waiting for the hose to be replaced. And I am still getting texts from LG asking about the service I'm receiving and how can it be remedied.... I am without words, finally.

NEVER ANOTHER LG PRODUCT. Impossible to get service on a dryer under warranty. Hours spent with chat and a phone agent coming up with every excuse possible for why the dryer can't get clothes dry. Insisting I get a professional vent cleaning when I sent a picture showing the entire two foot length of the vent is clean as a whistle. Turned off energy saver, ran diagnostic programs, all a complete waste of time but they will not send warranty service. I don't think warranty service exists. NEVER ANOTHER LG PRODUCT.

Terrible customer service, terrible product! Bought an LG dryer and had intermittent problems with it heating. Every time a technician came out ( 3 times) the problem re occurred. Then they said it was a ventilation issue. I had a specialist come out and they said it’s 100% NOT related to ventilation. Now they’re saying it’s out of warranty, even though the problem started in warranty and will not honor it. The dryer is two years old! Will never buy LG again and don’t recommend to anyone.

Lg products are terrible. 3 tvs and 5 dvds players later I would never dream of buying an lg product again. If you want a product for a quarter of the lifespan of others then buy lg. Disposable garbage...

I am very disappointed with this purchase. The LG laundry machine (washer) started leaking from underneath every time I use it. I tried to troubleshoot using the manual, but it didn’t help at all. I called Maplewood Home Depot to complain about it, but they told me to contact LG Company. I called LG Company and explained about the leakage and told them the washer is not of good quality. The Company person was not helpful at all and told me to pay from my pocket for the repair. Don’t buy this laundry machine or any other appliance from LG. I think Home Depot Maplewood branch is also involved by advertising for the company LG when their product is of poor quality. I’m also disappointed that Home Depot Maplewood branch also did try to help me. If they don’t want to repair, I would really love to return if possible.

Purchased a brand new washing machine on 10/3. (Model #WT8405CB) Husband got it hooked up and running two weeks later. By the middle of November it started making god-awful grinding noises and quit working. It lasted 3 weeks. Its now almost March and I still don't have a washer despite countless calls, halving to deal with people who answer the phone but don't have any idea how to get the machine fixed. I've talked to two different "managers" and had two promises to forward my complaint to the "highest levels". LG agrees the washer is under warranty and after a month came up with the name of an authorized repair service that "they would pay for". The repairman diagnosed the problem as a bad pump and agitator assembly. Then he wanted to be paid for the service call. Apparently LG is not known for paying promptly or at all. (Now I'm out $135 for an under warranty washer). I tried to order the parts and LG would not send them to me - they had to be ordered by the repairman. The repair service ordered the parts in January. We had an appointment for March 5th to install the parts, which I was going to have to pay for, and the appointment was cancelled because they still don't have the parts. Again, I'm speaking to a "manager" and I get the same line about sending my claim to "the highest levels who will call me back in 24 to 48 hours." I bought LG because I've had good luck with a dishwasher from them. Thought the washing machine would be of the same quality. No problems with the drier I bought at the same time. I don't know what to do next. Do not buy this washing machine, it's an $840 lemon.

My LG refrigerator wasn’t cooling Richard came out said he could put a better compressor in which it didn’t help then we had Tyrone worked on it for three hours and it’s still not working and than Richard comes out two more time replaced the lines and now it’s running warmer yet We’re going into the third month I’ve called for the repair but it’s two to three week wait So going into a third month I want a replacement Your service so far is so bad This is my second LG refrigerator I’ll never buy your products again I wish I could say something nice

Laundry dryer 37 months old and dishwasher 4.5 years old both recently needed a new motor. Service is terrible. They don't even publish a list of authorized service providers. You have to go through a series of unnecessary, repetitive, annoying questions before they will give you the name of a service provider. Service provider requests a waiver absolving them from responsibility for damage to your home during or after the repair.

LG range I purchased march 2024 the range ceramic top has a white haze scratch surface now . call customer service and was ignored of my concerns. Told that this was normal wear and tear for this type of ceramic top. This is unacceptable. This range is 11 months old was cleaned with the proper ceramic top, cleaners, and pads provided by LG this is the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced from a company this size I was totally stonewalled.

Worst customer service and products to date. 3 weeks with a broken washer and still no answers the washer is only 6 months old... the pump went out and they can't seem to find a new pump. Technician came left washer full of water.. now saying they need to send a technician to assess before they can fix or replace... have spent hours on the phone no solutions

Called for a repair person to be dispatched. LG insisted that I troubleshoot with them before they would schedule a repair tech. 3 hours later my laundry room is flooded and my machine is even more broken. NOW they said they'd send out a repair tech if I give them $400. They caused damage and refuse to escalate. It's the worst ever. Never buy from LGm

I bought a front loader washer( Model:WM8900HBA). The front door has been leaking since I purchased it. Called for many repairs that included changing the whole front door mechanism, it is still leaking. LG showed no interest in the issue and is not willing to repair it, 15 month old unit.

I've made 6 phone calls in 15 days and my refrigerator still needs to be repaired. I was told it would take 3-5 days to find a company in my area who can perform warranty service, never happened. I was told my issue was escalated to a different team and they would call me back, never happened. I was finally given the name and number of a company in my area who could perform warranty service, I reached out to them and they said they don't service my area. I just finished speaking to a manager who was rude, condescending and had extremely poor listening skills. She is going to reach out to the Locator team so they can reach out to the same company I did, so they can find out if the company will service my refrigerator, even after I told her I reached out to them and they won't. WHAT!!!! Based on other reviews clearly the training the LG customer service associates go through focus on the jargon. Locator team, escalation, 3-5 days, 24-48 hours. But we get nothing but the run around. As a former Customer Service executive, I would have CSA's and managers who interact with Customers this way terminated. LG - step up your game. Poor customer service will catch up with you and have a negative impact on sales. Rest assured I will be sure to share my incredibly poor experience with friends and family so they don't purchase your products.

I would even give no start for service I got it online, we purchased Microwave from LG.com and we got defective piece and were not able to return, please everyone think hundred times before purchasing any merchandise from LG.com. It took over week to get answered that we can't return

Made a huge mistake and bought a LG French door refrigerator 3 months ago. The ice clumps up in the ice maker and prevents it from dispensing and the fridge doors don't auto close. Dealing with LG customer service is like pulling teeth with no anesthesia! I had to call them several times....hours each time....they make you go through hundreds of steps to trouble shoot while on the phone and refuse to send a technician to resolve your issue even you have a one year warranty. They warn you by saying, "if the technician comes and determines the problem is not manufacturing defects, you will be charged". I finally was able to schedule an appointment with a technician for next week, and they still text me and insisting to do more trouble shooting and cancel the appointment. This is just unbelievable. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy LG products. They don't worth a headache.

3 years ago we bought an LG package(3 items) and also an extended warranty. The refrigerator compressor was changed out in 3 months. Since then the ball ice maker has broke. The electric range doesn't register the proper temperature and never has! The diseasher is ok but not the best we’ve had. When i fell back on the warranty they said it had expired. Nice purchase, huh! My TV is LG smart TV buy wont connect my hearing aids. I’m over LG!!! Never again…
