Terrible customer service. The compressor died and the fridge was not cooling. Lost all of my food. The compressor was under warranty and they provided me with the name and phone number of a contractor to come out and diagnose the problem. They stated the compressor would be sent to the contractor and I would need to pay for the labor and any other work that needed to be completed. Next day contractor assessed problem and share what my cost would be minus the compressor. Contractor stated they needed LG to provide a work order so they could complete the work. Called LG and they stated they do not provide work orders and they wanted me to communicate that to contractor. LG refused to call their contractor and wanted me to be the middle man and communicate their contractor. This went on for 2 days. Never received the compressor that is under warranty. Very poor customer service and the third party agents were hard to understand and would not connect me with a stateside manager. LG is a BIG SCAM. I went to the appliance store to buy a new fridge and shared with everyone there that should not buy an LG. I shared my story with them and plan to do that every time I am in an appliance store. They no nothing about providing customer service.

LG appliance are the worst appliances to have in your kitchen I brought a flat burner stove LG brain less than a year the burner crack open it’s take them almost two month to finally sent a technician out to fix it and after they fix it it’s only last two months same problem appears again now it’s been over two weeks I have been fiddling with them to see if they will send a technician out they never did the customer service is very poor the president liaison customer service is worst than the customer service department they are so helpless and very very poor I will never advise my worst enemy to buy LG appliances for her house needs

Worst customer service I've ever seen in any company..The phone calls go to a third party answering service in the Philippines can't transfer a call to the department you need..The lie they tell is I will (Escalate)a email to the department..over75 calls made since 2019 when I bought this load of garbage..3 refrigerators and 7 compressors and fan motors defrost system parts ice maker..5 times lost all the food in it..and now damage to the floor where the freon leaked on to it..as of 4/11/24 still no response from all the Escalated emails..just the same old lies..

Very Bad customers service. I bought an air conditioner from thirumalgiri croma showroom. They told me after 48 hours they isntall air conditioner but after 7 days they didn't istalled the ac. Now they are not attending any call and no response from their side. Very very very bad customer service

I cannot talk to a human. After jumping through all the hoops and pushy the right buttons, customer service was unintelligible, muffled and I could not speak to a person. This is ridiculous.

what a terrible company. they send their authorized technician to repair my refrigerator under warranty. not only it was not repaired , they damaged the unit and claimed it was beyond repair .they took all parts and some from the refrigerator with him, now i am left with a dead refrigerator under warranty and was billed by LG for $549.00 dollars. scam

Third issue with my LG French door refrigerator and the linear compressor. Initially worked through Best Buy/Geek Squad for replacement of compressor and at that time, they had certified LG specialists who did the work. This time, calling Geek Squad for same issue (5 yrs later), they did not inform me that I had to deal with LG directly. Of course that was 6 days later (with no refrigerator and total loss of food) and then had to call LG and schedule another appointment which took 3 more days. So now it's 9 days and did get compressor replaced but had to cover for labor which was over $600. LG refused to compensate for lost food because "it's not in our warranty policy. Moral of story is I would not recommend LG refrigerators with this linear compressor. Other companies tried it and discontinued using it. Regarding food spoilage program, no where in my original packet of info does it spell out details regarding this, so no compensation unless there is a warranty covering labor and 6 days must pass with the customer being without a refrigerator!!

Fridge I bought 4months ago already spoiled very unreliable brand …. Not even up to 5months a new fridge i bought at 130k you people think we are digging up money or plucking from trees a big dissappintment

My wife and I called the customer service line and received horrible service. After our refrigerator began leaking water we found that it stopped cooling and called the customer service line immediately. Unfortunately, they were only able to get us an appointment over a week later. We had to purchase two coolers and we are now trying to salvage what food we can from the now dead refrigerator. We tried to make an urgent request for someone to come and fix it but they only made our appointment a few days sooner, still over a week. We've lost hundreds in food with this economy, and more with trying to salvage what we had through constantly buying ice but are now left with buying food day to day for our family. It's disappointing that a refrigerator is not priority for this LG global company. It's not like we're waiting on a small appliance; a refrigerator is huge, especially in a family with a budget. No one deserves to wait on a crucial piece of equipment when their family depends on it for their livelihood. Although we served over 20 years in the military and don't try to use discounts, we still deserve to be treated with respect like everything should. This is one of the worst experiences we've encountered and we've been through several natural disasters.

Purchased an LG French door fridge in July 2023. Model LMXS28626S. The door ice maker freezes up and builds up ice on left side then stops making ice. We have had and LG technician here twice who could not fix it, so he claimed I was verbally abusive to him. LG will no longer provide service. I have had contract outside techs in the amount of $412 so far to try and repair the fridge and them reimburse me. We have 5 service calls and the issue is still not fixed. Worst customer service ever! unanswered calls, no contact, canceled service appointments. Presidential Liaison Department is inaccessible. DO NOT BUY LG AN LG FRIDGE. This is the first time we have written a review. We have many high end rental properties and many appliances, never had such a hard time getting something fixed. We are taking this to the next level with the Attorney General and settle this in court. We are done with LG forever!

"Disappointed with my double door refrigerator purchase from LG. This product has broken down at least 6-7 times and compressor has been replaced twice in last 3 years. Dealing with LG trying to get warranty work completed is a nightmare. The refrigerator compressors are bad, they are to replace them if they go out. Sounds easy right, nope, you call customer service they do everything possible to try and not give you the parts needed for your repairman. They also don’t cover cost to repairman or the cost of items lost by this faulty part. Never again will I buy anything made by LG. Total junk and getting repairs are worse. By anything else you will be better off.

My parents have been without a refrigerator for two months because of incompetence of the service department at LG. I have offered to buy them a new quality replacement but of course they are old school and hard headed and keep believing in their warranty and that LG will come through. Bottom line is an elderly couple on a budget or anyone should not have to deal with negligence from a manufacturer when their products are under warranty. My advice stay away from LG products.

Good Lord I don’t know what kind of boneheaded cavemen at LG okayed the production of the stainless dishwasher model no. LDFC2423V. Of course it’s the less expensive option but I mean throwing gang signs at the dishwasher shouldn’t be necessary. The control panel requires you to simultaneously touch two buttons (labels) at the same time in order to even start the damn thing. Not user friendly at all. You have to either press the two buttons before it lets you start a cycle or it doesn’t sense your finger trying to turn it on. But when you walk by or lean on the counter to grab a bowl or glass, the whole damn thing will turn on or off due to my thigh brushing against it. Honestly my genitalia has powered on or cancelled a cycle more than my fingers have deliberately tried to do the same. I had to walk our house sitter through a 7 minute FT tutorial on how to start the dishwasher when we were out for the week. Describing the start process was like trying to summon a demon from the 1700s to start this damn dishwasher. If it’s not the buttons and start up process, it’s the clicking sound the door makes when it shuts. Very loud high pitched click which is very off putting especially early in morning. Also. Don’t even get me started on the LG range. The stove top is straight up unsafe. The burners turn on way too easily. They have turned on without our knowledge many times because the safety feature which requires user to press dial before turning is not sufficient or strong enough so burners turn on easily if there is a negligent amount of pressure applied to a dial even in passing or turning on the vent above. If a body part brushes one of the dials, the burner turns on most of the time and has burned objects near stove top. Terrible appliances. Not user friendly and frankly unsafe. Would not recommend.
