Terrible customer service!! I had a defective dishwasher delivered which home depot replaced for me even though it was a manufacture issue. 4 months later I found a small dent at a seam behind the insulation after the lead had ruined my kitchen floor. I tried getting a replacement and LG refused to help. They said all products pass a quality inspection which that is the case, the inspectors need to be fired. LG's "help" was telling me to call someone else to get their terrible product replaced and then putting me through a revolving phone tree over and over.

LG Cannot Repair Their Own Products I would give a negative value, if there is ever such a score... I lodged a repair service for my Fridge Freezer on LG Support Online portal on 21/9/2023. Pacifica Group is the servicer for LG in my region. Over a period of more than 3+mths, I have had 8 Pacifica appointments, of which I have had 3 visits, 5 no shows (sick, incorrect parts, or just no show). Each appointment being 1/2/3 weeks apart hence this repair taking more than 3mths and counting. Of the 3 visits where an engineer did turn up 1st visit - 1st engineer determined a defrost was required within 1-2 minutes of arrival. No tools or diagnostic analysis was made. In/out within 10 minutes. 2nd visit - since the defrost did not work, 2nd engineer said a re-gassing is needed, but did not have the tools/parts. Again, no tools/diagnostic analysis. In/Out within 10 minutes. 3rd visit - the 3rd engineer was more professional, used diagnostic tools and dissembled the compressor to determine that a new compressor is required. At this point, I do not have a working fridge freezer. If I recall correctly this was the last visit on 16 Nov 2023 and have not had a visit since future appointments were all no shows or cancellations. My final scheduled appointment 27th Dec (no show), the engineer called & suggested that if I agreed to a system blockage, he could get the fridge/freezer replaced (not professional). - If you ask me, he was prepared to put aside another LG repair possibly to focus on direct Pacifica Jobs - The point is that if he did not show up on customer premises, how could he determine that this was a system blockage?.. and overriding a previous assessment. Following the 27th Dec no show, Pacifica formally issues a "BER" (Beyond Economical Repair) to LG. I find Pacifica to be untruthful and unethical - Analysis from the 16 Nov 2023 last repair visit was that a compressor replacement was required. - How can a "BER" status be issued without a subsequent visit LG has replied that since this is BER status, they can only offer back the repair costs I originally paid, and will not replace the fridge freezer since it's out of warranty. Note my fridge freezer is 2.5 years old and is still a current model being sold. How can a current model be beyond repair? This has taken 3mths+ and counting.... I think I have been very patient waiting more than 3 months for a LG fridge freezer repair, having to go through the Christmas period without a fridge freezer, and having to take time off work 8 times..... 8 times!!!! Electronic products by nature will occasionally go wrong, but what defines a good product is also the service behind it. In summary - Repair case opened 21/9/2023 - 8 Appointments, 5 of which are no shows (8 days off work) - Now nearly after 4 months, LG report they CANNOT REPAIR THEIR OWN PRODUCTS - There is NO service and NO support behind LG Products - Only a refund of original repair costs will be provided How can any respecting company put their customers through such an experience. I am sure you will think carefully before selecting LG. For sure I WILL NOT be selecting LG products.

LG refrigerator approximately 7 years old. Compressor went after 2 years, Ice maker does not work. Spring on plate assembly housing broke off and will have to replace entire Flapper door. Asking why the 3 wires were burnt off with their HELP LINE, after a run around sending photos and multiple text messages. Was told to call a service technician to, " Hire a LG professional and LG trained technician to repair your unit to prevent further damage to the appliance or to it's surroundings and to make sure that your unit will get the correct parts for it and prevent trial and errors which may cost you several unrelated parts to the issue." A child can replace part, in under a minute. 2 screws and a connector. I supplied model and part number to HELP line. LG: Never again, ever.

Till yet I haven't got any response or resolution from you guys, you guys are leased bother about the customers issues. I feel trapped and wasted my money on a wrong product and brand. I Iost the trust from LG. Service request no-RNP231227063499

I have had no choice but to select 1 star this company is the worst for washing machines do not buy! My washing machine had problems after 3 weeks of receiving it and I wish I had returned it when I had the chance. They are noisy too. Also when it breaks down and under warantee LG send awful engineers out from there third party company called PACIFICA. There engineer that came to my property to fix a simple problem to my working washing machine broke the motor and I have been without of a washing machine since November. Both LG and Pacifica have been unhelpful. They don't communicate well with their customers or even each other. They keep attending my property with no parts. The RSM Mike Tonks is useless you can't get through to him and he just sends out engineers without the part. My washing machine was BER after Pacifica engineer broke the motor but they changed their mind. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM LG!!! Their customer service is also terrible. PLEASE DO NOT USE PACIFICA TOO!!!

Horrendous After Sales Svs and product! Wish read thru all these reviews before buying LG TV. Bought this TV less than 1yr. Technician came after the appt timing & claim no parts available, shall update next day (Sat) morning. Severals calls made n never answer, customer svs kept advise get technician to update back. Going End of the working day, was told the same answer no parts & refer to the office on next working days which is Tues. Office refer back to the relevant dept .., all pushing around. OMG!

Worst Smart TV ever bought in my life. Mother board went off within 6 months and now within 1.5 years only display went off. Don't ever go for LG products. They are not using Genuine parts nowadays. Bye LG forever.

I ordered a washer and dryer set at the end of October from LGs website. Total inconvenience but delivery is only during the week when everyone has to work. I scheduled delivery for a month out, on a Friday, the only day I was going to be off work during the week that wasn't a holiday. The day I was supposed to get the items delivered, I hadn't even heard from the delivery company for my time window. I called LG and they told me delivery was going to be the following Monday. I told them that wasn't what I scheduled it for and to cancel as I was not taking a day off work for them to deliver. I was told it would take 10 to 15 business days for them to receive the product back, then I would receive an email acknowledging they received the product and within a few days. I would receive my refund. 15 business days later I call and ask for an update as there was no email or refund. I was advised the product hadn't been shipped back and to give it 8 to 10 more business days. 10 business days later, still nothing so I call LG again. This time I'm told there is no update and it will take 24 to 48 hours for a request for an update to go through. They've had my money for almost two months so I disputed the charge with my credit card company. Hopefully they will get an answer. I will NEVER purchase an LG product again and highly suggest you stay as far away from this company as possible.

Waited all day today for a technician to come. I had a ticket number and an appointment. They said the appointment was for 8 am-12pm. At 1:00 pm I called LG. He said the technician would call me shortly and let me know his estimated arrival time. It’s now 7 pm and I am still waiting. Do not buy their warranty. Get your own repairman!!!

These people made us wait over a week to find out no repair option was able and we could refund or store credit for new fridge. I said refund. Have had to call back numerous times as they keep putting me in store credit. I would never ever buy an Lg again!

I dealt with LGyesterday, trying to get a technician to come out. I know it’s Sunday and not everyone works Sundays but there are places that do. The customer service rep transferred me to a place that was closed and another repair man that was 46 miles away from my house The one I called that was nearby I left a message for yesterday and I am still waiting to hear back from that person. Needless to say, I will not be using them because they are totally worthless. LG was not helpful at all. I called back a second time, and the rep kept telling me that not many people. Well, like no kidding seriously. Worst customer service I ever had and I have no idea why the fan on my my refrigerator would go when it’s only four years old. Still trying to get a repair man to come out.

Horrendous customer service and product! I wished I had read all these reviews before buying LG washer. I bought LG top load washer in April. In July it leaked. Then, it leaked again in Sept. It leaks once in awhile so not a consistent leak after every wash. I scheduled repair service. Tech guy came and couldn't find any leak. He said I am using too much detergent. I only fill the cap to line 1 so not sure why that has anything to do with washer leaking. He recommended to use half of line 1 and use the tub clean w/ Affresh. I did what he recommended. In Oct. it leaked. I called LG and they sent the same tech guy. He said the same thing...use less detergent and use tub clean weekly for about a month and that should solve the issue. He even guaranteed that it will work. I gave it 2 months and within that 2 month timeframe, it leaked 2x. By now it's Dec., so I called. Got the run around and was transferred from agent to agent and put on hold and got disconnected. Called again to talk to a supervisor, but this agent told me they don't have supervisor and she transferred me to a different department. Got disconnected again. I called again next day, this agent told me they have supervisor and that I need to schedule repair service one more time before they can give me an alternative solution. Not sure if she was just saying that to get me off her back but anyways I scheduled appointment. Every time I schedule an appointment, I have to miss work. 3rd appointment, same tech guy saying the same thing. Tech guy stated he can't find any leaks or anything wrong w/ washer other than I'm using too much detergent. This washer should be called "no detergent washer"! How ridiculous...what washer can't handle half of line 1 detergent?! This is so frustrating and I'm not even sure what to do anymore to get this issue resolved. For sure I will never buy another LG product and will let others know about my experience.

I couldn't find the information I needed in the manual or on LGs website so I emailed the with the question. They got back to me within 48 hours and because of the answer I was given I went and bought a soundbar for £499. After attempting many times when connecting the new soundbar to the TV which was fine I just couldn't get the Dolby Atmos to come on when connecting the soundbar, so I contacted LG again for technical advice and was eventually told that my TV model now doesn't support Dolby Atmos after I was firstly told it does so went and bought one. Now I'm stuck with a soundbar that was more than double in cost that I can't use the main function of Dolby Atmos. LG apologised for the incorrect information I was given and had the cheek to offer 10% off a new TV. I have bought 3 Lg tvs in the last 3years and look at what they have done by giving the wrong advice. I will never buy any LG product ever again. Date of experience: December 05, 2023

I bought a LG airpump to warm up my house and the experience with the customer service here in Sweden is terrible. The customer service is not existent, you would not get any help, hence I strongly suggest to avoid LG products. My pump is 5 years old and it stopped delivering warm air. I contacted LG and they kept on delaying their response. Here in Stockholm there are -16C and in my house there are only 12C. I asked them to kindly provide a prompt plan. They answered after a week, after that I called 3 times a day demanding to escalate my case. the final outcome was that they diverted me to an authorized LG assitance whose availability is only in January, hence they expect me to stay cold in my house the entire Christmas. Importantly, they way how they handle the case is beyond stupidity as on their website they could state immediuately to whom to contact, rather than having the customer waiting for a week at the cold. I would never ever in my life buy an LG product, the customer service is inexistent especially in Sweden.

Stay away from LG. I am writing a follow-up on my last review since I contacted LG today. It's been weeks LG has yet to contact me. once a week, I call, and they keep saying the same thing. That someone from the executive department is going to contact me about my claim. I tried to call and see if I could speak to a supervisor, but they kept telling me that they could not transfer me to a supervisor because they had transferred my case to the executive department. that doesn't make sense. You would think that they'll transfer you to their supervisor, but I guess they don't have any. And they keep saying that they're going to call me tomorrow or today, which they never do. This is getting out of hand, and I feel like I am running towards the wall every time I contact LG. Do not waste your time by buying their products. Who's running this circus?

LG needs to stick to making the product and get out of customer service. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We were told so many different stories in a 2 week period it was just unbelievable. Two supervisors also told us stories that were not true. Never got the TV but was charges and it took a month to be refunded. Called Amazon got the same TV delivered in less then 24 hours and it was lest money. Save yourself a headache and stress do not buy direct they are truly useless.

The worst experience I have ever had with any appliance manufacturer. Our fridge went wrong so we purchased an expensive LG refrigerator and 3 months later it stopped working. We have two small children with severe allergies and needed a replacement asap. They told us they would send someone to fix it. After waiting two weeks I called in and got told there was no one in our area. Then they said they would get a replacement to us, this supposedly should take 10-14 business days to get sent to us. Guess what, today we were supposed to receive the new fridge and I took the afternoon off work to accept delivery and nothing showed up. I called the dispatch service to the response of LG haven’t sent it to them yet and would be another week on-top of the 5 we have waited. This is an absolute joke.

On hold for 64 minutes. Was waiting for a supervisor to speak to. I asked them to forward the email they already allegedly sent to the tech that gives permission to replace the motor of the dishwasher and copy me. Was told it's against their policy. Hung up after 64 minutes, don't believe I was ever going to be transferred. Going to the store tomorrow to see if they can help me.

Will never buy LG again. I called three times, on regards to an issue with my 5 month old fridge; agents said they will call back no one did. Very unprofessional. Spoke to the Manager, told her that when we call overseas, meaning not Canada or US; the customer service is usually poor; because of their mind set also time difference. They don’t understand our urgency. I come from a third world country, I know how most people think, in north American we must have the fridge working or our food will go bad, we buy food for the week, and food is very expensive. In Third world countries most people can not afford a fridge, so they don’t understand our situation, they buy on the day, we don’t have time to go to the market everyday. We should have a customer service center in Canada or USA, that our understand our culture and ways of living.
