Bought the dehumidifier MD19GQGA1, great product but 2 years after, it stopped working. Sent for repair and was told I need to pay $40/- for assessment regardless of whether I proceed with part replacement after (fair enough). After that I was told I need to replace the Compressor which has a 10 year warranty so replacement is free BUT labour charge is $250/- on top of the $40/-. I had my LG washing machine repaired after warranty expire and even with replacement of parts does not come close to $250/-. The way I see this, we are paying for the compressor on the pretext of Labour charge. The service centre explained labour charge is different for different appliance. The dehumidifier cost 699/-. The repair cost came to almost half of the cost ($290/-)if I buy brand new. Consumer needs to know before they buy, as this labour cost is beyond any standard repair cost for appliances. I don’t have issue with the staffs at the customer service centre but it is the way LG conduct the business.

Bought a full set of lg appliances 6 years ago. Microwave is supposed to be 1200 watts but takes forever to heat things. Frame cracked and the fan sounds like a jet engine and blows no air. Fridge is ok. Ice maker jams regularly. Dishwasher will not drain properly and sounds terrible. The supports on the bottom rack are flimsy and won’t stay up to support dishes. Oven is (was) the worst. Propane stove but if you use the full self clean it gets so hot it fries the oven igniter. Replaced one during warranty and then happened again. Researched it and apparently lg knows this. What nonsense. Oven temps are not accurate. I finally ditched when the igniter died a third time. Bought a Frigidaire professional propane stove. Have had it about two months and it is excellent. Much better quality in fit and finish. When the dishwasher dies I’ve sourced out a Frigidaire professional dishwasher. I’m done with lg for good.

LG has no authorized repair people in Colorado Springs. A region with nearly a million people in it. Their online service will ask you to call people 60+ miles away who refuse to drive to the Springs to work on anything. And those techs will sigh and complain that LG refuses to take their number off the site, so desperate people in the Springs will at least stop calling. ... Just... don't buy LG. They couldn't care less about support. As a bonus if LG is reading this. Your website has a major bug. If you search for local repair online, the first result (regardless of the zipcode you are searching) will ALWAYS be 201 Record Rd. ... So you've got corrupted data or you're writing over the first result with the same road/address nationwide. ... Can you at least fake that you care?

Terrible customer service ordered American fridge freezer cost over £1400 as it was boxed couldn’t check for damage now when opened reported dent on it it’s still in protective cover but as it’s been over 3 days from 30 day policy refused to replace even though sent picture it’s not even installed yet. Company have poor customer care and no loyalty towards customers

I have a refrigerator that needs repair. It stopped working 4 weeks ago with an error code. It is like 2 years old and is one of the top of the line ones. They have been saying they were sending out a repair person for the last 3 weeks. Originally it was my 82 year old mother making the appointments. The first contractor said they would call between 12-5, at least 4 different times. Then they started texting my mom, my mom is not good at texting. So I texted back and said to text me or call my mom. Which did not happen. I called LG and explained the situation. So we set up an appointment for Friday between 12-5 with a new contractor. Surprise surprise they never called or came. As I write this I’m on hold with LG again trying to get an actual person to come look at the refrigerator again. Now I have to be attached to my phone for the rest of tonight and tomorrow hoping they get someone to come. Don’t buy LG

worst customer service, Philippines operators with limited knowledge, scripted to read to you the same old BS, I cancelled an order, refused shipment like they told me to do, received an RA and after 3 weeks their still telling me we are awaiting return, they would not contact the shipper to check on where the monitor was. Suggest do not use LG for direct purchase, at buy from major retailor with better customer support.

The worst customer service ever. Replaced fridge eventually but it was a big insane ordeal. One year later the track on the new fridge freezer won’t work. They insist we ourselves take our fridge a three hour drive away to get it fixed. Will not send anyone here. We asked to have the part sent so we can fix it but they won’t pay for the $80 part so now we have to pay for it and fix ourselves. This fridge will be going downstairs and we will buy another brand.

I have 3 LG products and they are all garbage. Do not by LG for the sole reason they have no customer service and the software is really bad.

I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company! Our brand-new fridge, which cost $3000, malfunctioned in less than three months. Despite our efforts, they were unable to arrange for repairs or provide a replacement. When I reached out for assistance, their response was dismissive and unsupportive. Consequently, my family and I are now without a functioning fridge for the next 13 days. To add insult to injury, they offered a mere $200 in compensation, despite the fact that we had to discard $1000 worth of food due to their product's failure. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has left us in a difficult situation.

LG Support does not know their products and compatibility with other LG products. Reached out to LG support via Facebook to check the compatibility of rear speakers and an existing sound bar. LG support confirmed compatibility. Made the purchase of rear speakers as a Xmas gift. Attempted to connect the new rear speakers to the existing sound bar and my surprise they would not wirelessly connect and there was not a wired connection option. Reached back out to LG support to address the lack of connectivity who had me doing and trying different things for over 2 weeks. After about 3 weeks in this hamster wheel of telling me that the two units were compatible and trying different things to connect the 2 units, I was finally told that they realized that the two units were NOT compatible. At this point, I realize that I am also past the return date at Best Buy which is where I purchased from. I only find this out when I go into return as that is a separate issue and review. Best Buy accommodates me the best they can since I am after the 2-week holiday return policy and provides me with a gift card for the full amount of my purchase. The gift card is of no use to me as I typically do not shop at this store and have not made a purchase in over 10 years there before this one. I reached out to LG to explain my issues with the return and not being granted a refund to my debit account and request that LG refund the monies. I would have been more than willing to send LG the Best Buy gift card had they issued a refund. I am not looking to receive a double refund but would like my refund to my debit card so that I can purchase my mother-in-law a new Christmas Gift. I was told by the text customer support that a presidential liaison would be able to decide to refund me my money and that what I am requesting is not unreasonable. (I have all the messages from day 1 when I reached out before Christmas). After several more weeks of asking LG support when will I receive a call from the presidential liaison, and be told that the case was closed and that they reached out? I got an actual text message asking how my service was with the presidential liaison that I just talked with. I DID NOT EVER TALK WITH A PRESIDENTIAL LIAISON at this point! I again reached out to support, and another week went by, and I got a text from Chasity who identified herself as a presidential liaison. When I received this text, I asked that they call as I have been stuck in this hamster wheel of messages and texts with LG and that it should not be a business protocol to text an individual about a complaint and ongoing issue. The next text I received stated "Calling" When I received the call Chasity told me that all she could offer would be a service call. For what? There is nothing that a service call would have done to rectify the issue of connectivity if the units were NOT compatible and I no longer have the unit, I have a useless me Bust Buy gift card. When I bring this to her attention, she then offers me a 15% coupon towards future purchases. What would ever make this woman think that I would make another LG purchase again in my lifetime after all the issues with this one is mind-boggling. Not to mention this 15% is less than what I would get if I made a normal purchase. When I could see that I was not getting anywhere and Chasity had the knowledge and common sense of a brick of soap, I asked for her supervisor or manager. Chasity let me know that she is the supervisor and there is no one higher than herself. I asked who the owner of LG is if it's a board of individuals or a single person. At this point, Chasity reminded me that all LG calls are recorded and that this call is not being resolved so she is going to end the call and hung up. That’s right…HUNG UP ON ME. I was not yelling, not making rude or disrespectful comments which were certainly warranted but continued to ask to talk with her manager or escalate this issue above her department. I sit still in the same position I have been an unresolved issue, LG employees not having any clue, a Best Buy Gift Card that is worthless to myself and my mother-in-law, and my issue not resolved. Beware of LG they do not know about the products they sell, and their customer service is terrible, maybe the worst I've ever experienced.

There refrigerator and electric stove are poorly designed. The numbers on the dials for the stove you can’t hardly see daytime or nighttime. The same with the refrigerator water dispenser the numbers you can’t see. They could have used a different color on the numbers so they can be seen.

All you get is a Call Center in the Philippines, that is of no help at all. Wish I could get a hold of somebody in the United States.

bought an LG Gram laptop computer. It was wonderful. It weighed 2.2 lbs.! It had the latest Intel chip in it. I loved it. And then unexpectedly, of all things to go wrong, the hinge. THE HINGE! Failed. It broke. I paid 1800 bucks for this machine. And the damned hinge broke. OK. So, LG wanted 500 bucks to fix the damned hinge. And I paid it! $ 500 bucks, a year after I bought it. And they fixed it! OK. I'm alright...right? But then after six months, the hinge failed. Now I am in for this for $ 2300 bucks. And they took it back and fixed my hinge. Am I alright. YES. This hinge lasted less than 1 year, so I, of course, contacted LG to fix their ill-conceived, ill-designed hinge again. Their answer was NO! The product was now over three years old. But their repair was less than one year old. They told me NO! And now I can tell you, DO NOT BUY AN LG LAPTOP! THEY HAVE A DESIGN FLAW WITH THE HINGE. AND THEY WILL NOT STAND BY IT! DO NOT BUY AN LG LAPTOP...OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY MAKE. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT! I AM RANDY EPNER, AND I WILL NEVER BY ANY LG PRODUCT AGAIN, AND I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME!

Steer clear of LG dishwashers. Had mine for 4 months and main board went out. There is a group lawsuit currently on LG for this very thing.

Your repairman charged us over $300 to sevice our 3 year old washer. He said LG doesn’t make the part needed anymore so he didn’t fix anything. When we tried to get our refund, we were told that it would take 6 weeks! Lousy appliance and lousy service

Talked today with Porsche from your presidential elite team doesn't want to work with a loyal customer spending $10000 and more with their company to help with a $300 bill. She said that they are not responsible for their faulty compressors and their refrigerators that she is not willing to help me at all. Do not buy LG products anymore they do not stand behind their products!

I purchased ALL lg appliances when I built my house. Couple years later my fridge compressor goes out, they claim they new the compressors were faulty so we lost tons if money in food, major mess had to buy a backup fridge while waiting a month to finally get our fridge fixed. The. Our new washer after less than a year sensor goes out, have to wait few weeks to get that repaired. Then my stove stops lighting for the second time of owning it so have to have that yet again and than my dishwasher the rivets popped out, tech said they were too small and now they don’t make the internal drum that we need and lg claims they can’t repair it do can give us 15% off a new one. Are you freakin kidding me!!! LG had really gone down in quality. Do NOT buy. Horrible appliances, horrible customer service!!! Don’t stand behind their appliances! I will BEVER buy another lg product and I will plaster my experience everywhere and let everyone I know about our experience.

1st time writing a review... Had a terrible experience with LG... Ordered appliances for our brand new home but when the installation day and the appliances were no where to be found. After multiple calls we finally reached a rep who basically told us they would be reaching out to us in the next few days to figure everything out... Days passed and no one contacted us. We had to reach out to customer service only to find out that our appliances wouldn't be delivered for another month! This was the last thing we wanted to hear as the appliances were last on our list before closing on our house. Overall we had a bad experience with LG. Very poor communication on their end. Costed us a whole other months worth of rent on this mishap.

We purchased a bundle of LG kitchen appliances 4 years ago. So far one of the burners on the electric stove had to be replaced, the icemaker has stopped working and now the compressor on the refrigerator is not working and it's going to take about a week to get the parts need for repair leading to our having to throw away quite a bit of food. DO NOT BUY LG APPLIANCES!!!!
