Negative stars / FRAUD ALERT! This company deals in nothing but fraud and lies. From my first email complaint to them - and I will gladly make public the full email chain - they have changed their story (and even my order details!) too many times to mention. They make a show of trying to resolve the issue, but in fact are dreaming up lies to cover fraud - with the intention of frustrating the client to the point that they give up. But I won't give up until I am fully refunded. WORST online buying experience ever, and a colossal waste of time and energy.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. They false advertise like crazy, as the products they send are nothing like the images posted on the website. And they flatly refused several to comply with complaints asking for refunds, when I emailed them explaining how drastically different the product was. They also refused to change their picture on the website to something accurate.

I ordered one of their life-like baby dolls for my granddaughter. It was supposed to be 22" and made of silicone. What I received was a dollar store plastic doll. Like all the other honest reviewers, I have had no reply from them. I have learned my lesson. In the mean time they are stealing from I am sure thousands and thousands of people. No matter what you order it will be junk. These frauds know what they are doing. I will be reporting to the BBB.

Awful comms post ordering. Delivery time long. Terrible returns policy whereby they actually suggest you keep any items you would like to return and try to sell them locally to friends and family! Wouldn't order anything from this company again.

Arghh wish I had seen these reviews before handing over my money! I paid extra for expedited postage in July, that promised delivery in "5-9 working days". Nearly a month later, I contact customer services to check on my package (shipped but god knows where), and was told that "in pandemic times, delivery takes 2 MONTHS". (!?!?) We've been in a pandemic since March! And even now - 1/2 a year later - Lightinthebox is charging extra for and promising bogus 5-9 day "expedited" deliveries!! I leave Singapore in a few days (for a year), and will not be here to receive my parcel - IF it arrives - in September. I explained to customer service that if the seller been honest about the real delivery time of 2 months, I would obviously never have ordered anything, given my departure date. So asked for either a refund in full, or have my parcel re-shipped to London where I live. Know what she said? "No refunds once shipped. I hope your parcel arrives soon." Just wow. Never again. Stay well clear of this unethical company that blatantly defrauds customers.

Avoid this organization. Delivery is non-existent and customer service only lip service. Ordered item which was to be delivered within 30 days. After about five weeks still had not received and they kept extending the delivery time until finally after over 90 days they agreed to send me a full refund. Refund had delivery charges removed and was for item only! My inquiries as to why the full amount was not refunded have not been answered. Seems like a scam. Don't send the merchandise, refund the item cost and keep the delivery.

I made my order, it was NEVER received. I replied to their e-mails enquiring about receipt...I REPLIED "NOT RECEIVED" to each e-mail. I finally requested a refund after waiting 3 1/2 months (waited a long time due to delays during Pandemic). No refund will be given...I CAN order again and get up to 50% off my order...REALLY? You want MORE money and expect me to HOPE YOU ACTUALLY SOMETHING DELIVER THIS TIME? Not ^%&#&$% Likely... Truly a scam!!!

Do not buy from this company,my order still hasnt arrived after 3 months&they will not issue me a refund,even though they sent me emails saying they would,which ive kept as im going to sue them,they shouldnt get away with this so often,they are the worst company i have ever dealt with&customer service is a disgrace,they should be shut down

Basically - they don't do refunds unless you pay to ship it back to China - which will probably outweigh the cost of the item - so you need to be damn sure you are ordering the right size or item

The jacket I ordered never arrived. After nearly 3 months I lodged a dispute through PayPal. This got me my money back, less $10 for some reason. If you must order with this dodgy company at least protect yourself with PayPal or credit card.

As many others have said, this company is terrible and they will steal your money and refuse to refund you for missing products. But to everyone who has been scammed by these thieves, please contact your bank! I disputed the charge and was able to get my money back relatively easy because this business is so clearly a scam.

STOP - shop somewhere else! I ordered 2 dresses and two sofa covers, which was £220+shipping of £20, total £240. My surprise was not the cost of the items, as these were clearly shown on the website when I ordered, but the cost of the shipping. My invoice showed a shipping cost of £20, so when I was asked to pay an additional £16.11 by DHL I was very surprised and even more so when I only received the £18.75 dress - my order had been split. I then received a further message asking for an additional £77.63, what for! Well, this was a second parcel charge, an incorrect duty calculation based on furniture! and VAT on the whole lot calculated on an incorrect value of goods. LightInTheBox had split my parcel, quoted an inflated value, selected the wrong category code for import duty and after already charging me shipping costs for my order, then made me pay all their shipping costs or under their terms of business, I would be charged extra for refusing the parcels. I have just been blackmailed into paying their flipping charges. I am incredibly hacked off and after 2 hours and 4 depratments on the phone, if I now die with a stroke or heart failure I hope my partner sues these muppets for every last penny they have!!!
