After going to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai for a 12 day holiday, whilst the hotel, service and staff were of the highest quality, sadly the T's & C's for the 'All Inclusive' package were a joke and a complete letdown. We raised the subject with the hotel and with the local Love Holidays rep, who basically refused to come to the hotel to discuss the issues face to face. I wrote to the company on return home and after one week, I still haven't had an acknowledgement or response. (I know it was delivered and read by the recipient) Very poor service I'm afraid.

Nightmare of a company, book your own flights and hotel/apartment. Left completely stranded by them in Tenerife in September, the hotel was closed down and they never informed me. It was 10pm at night and had to ring hotels in the area for vacancies.

Please be aware that these are not package holidays. We booked an holiday with these guys and later the airline changed our flight date so we contacted Loveholidays and they wanted to charge us an additional £100 to change the date of our hotel by one day to match the new flight dates for no fault of ours. Alternatively they could put us on another flight on the original date from the other end of the country for an additional £137, so cancelled holiday for a full refund. We have absolutely no confidence that this would not happen again in the future so will never book with them again, let's see how long it takes to get the refund!!

I would give no stars.... Awful company. Lied to us... Make up prices as they go along, took holiday payment when we told them not to as we were thinking about the added costs they came up with that made no sense. Still waiting for money back and they not replying to our emails. AVOID!!!

Absolutely horrible company, what a joke of a "Customer service" ethos. Accidental booking followed by 0 ways of contacting the company. Stay as far away from this booking platform as you can get.

MAKE YOU CHECK YOUR BOOKING STRAIGHT… MAKE YOU CHECK YOUR BOOKING STRAIGHT AWAY AS LOVEHOLIDAY HAS Glitchy computer is a scam (asked about the surname of the second guest is exactly the same as the lead passenger? Yes! It turn out the surname of the second guest is THANKS ! Surname in your plane ticket booking a bigtime stressful and hassle ) That is purely and big time scam business, plus a single out using their own email is another scam business guest should be aware of. I will never tolerate and recommend this scambug Loveholiday BEWARE GO STRAIGHT TO AIRLINE BOOKING

If I could award no stars I would! DO NOT use this company. I booked a hotel that according to the info told me: Was on the beach - there is a new hotel being built and it’s not on the beach, it’s on a busy road. You can only get to the beach by going through another building, up a lift to an over the road bridge, then descend another lift to two small patches of sand. A sea view - as far as I can see there is no sea view from any part of the hotel, as there is a new hotel being built, so you’re looking at a concrete skeleton. Nice rooms - my room is next to the busy road. There is no sealant round the windows therefore you can’t sleep because of the noise. The door chain was broken. The safe was broken and didn’t work. I tried ringing Love Holidays - kept me on the phone for 48 mins, only to get through to a call centre, who said they’ll send me an email address - that was it!!!! I asked for somebody to ring me that day - nothing. I sat in reception, as that was the only place I could get the intermittent WiFi which kept dropping out. My partner in the UK tried too, with the same results or it being left to ring out. She tried for over two hours. A local rep said he could do nothing after offering me two hotels which by the reviews were worse!! He said he can’t do anything and that I should contact ‘England’ - yeah right! All round - bloody dreadful.

Do Not and I am mean DO NOT book a holiday with this company I booked a holiday and paid £300 deposit. A few minutes after I had booked I got and e mail to say I had not completed my booking and to press the green button on the e mail that said go back to booing and I re entered all our details. The next day I got an e mail saying our booking was pending. The next day at 7.30 pm I got an e mail from Love Holidays saying that my booking was conformed followed by an e mail from Ryan Air conforming my flights. All good so I thought. Then the next day I got another e mail from Love holidays confirming exactly the same booking but with a different booking reference again followed by another e mail from Ryan Air conforming the flights again a different booking number I could not for love nor money get hold of Love Holidays and on checking my bank account I saw that they had taken out two deposits!! After there hours on live chat on manage my bookings with three different people and supplying them with copies of the first e mail saying my booking was not complete forcing me to re do it and then e mail saying booking pending they had created a double booking. They still refused to refund any money and to cancel it I had to not only lose the deposit on the double booked holiday but pay extra I then rang Ryan Air who straight away said they could see clearly that it was a mistaken double booking as it was not only a mirror image of the first booking submitted within mins of the first!!!They cancelled the flights and said they would refund Love holidays the full amount and they confirmed this by e mails. So to day again on live chat I requested that they cancel the holiday and showed them the e mail confirming the refund from Ryan Air to them. They still refuse to pay me anything as they say under their terms and conditions there is no refund. I am now taking it as far as it will go as I did not double book and they have illegally and fraudulently taken two deposits for the same Holiday. I now would rather lose the deposit on the first holiday than risk traveling with this despicable and dishonest firm and I will not stop till they are exposed

We booked a holiday for August 22, but days later after confirmation was told there was an error in the price and they wanted another 2.5k (approx.). They also gave us x3 options available to us 1; "We can look into a different alternative or we can book alternative accommodation", 2; Pay the extra 2.5k or 3;pay the remaining amount for your flights and keep this booking as a flight only booking. NO MENTION OF A FULL REFUND at this point. Eventually they offered us a 15% discount but only if we kept the same flights, and all similar holidays cost at least 1.5k more than the price we had agreed. When I asked to make an official complaint I found out that I would be CHARGED £108 TO COMPLAIN for admin fees.

I am a loyal loveholidays customer and have spent thousands and thousands on holidays with them. Unfortunately, my latest experience was not great and has prevented me from booking with loveholidays in the future. The best4u transfer was terrible. We arrived into Faro airport and waited almost an hour and 15 minutes for another couple to turn up on our transfer, by then it was almost 1am. The people didn’t turn up so when we finally got on the transfer, the man who didn’t speak any English drove us right to the other side of Portugal instead of our hotel! We managed to get him to turn back around to which it was 2:45am and we arrived to an empty reception and no instructions whatsoever on where to check into. We sat outside on top of our luggage, completely exhausted and had no idea what to do. Eventually, we got hold of a security man who assisted us. We finally got our room at 3:20 in the morning although we should have been there at 1am. The return transfer was a bad experience too. Loveholidays messed up our booking reference so as we tried to arrange our return transfer, best4u kept telling us it was the wrong reference and to contact loveholidays. I tried calling them 5 times and the line kept doing dead. We spent our whole last day stressed, anxious and in tears trying to call loveholidays. We finally got through and the man on the phone said he would contact me once it was sorted. We waited for the whole duration of the day (8 hours) and I still hadn’t be contacted. We spent our last day worrying and staying by the phone, which was really not fair. I sent two messages to loveholidays asking if it was sorted and still not response. Eventually, I rang up and got hold of them and they said they have sorted it yet I had no correspondence and it ruined our day. Overall, I found this experience really disorganised and shambolic. I have usually had good experiences with loveholidays but this time I won’t be booking again. I used Jet2holidays recently and had the most amazing experience and everything ran smoothly and efficiently. It was so good that these will now be my holiday agents from now on! I recommend Jet2holidays.

Do not book with this cowboy outfit. We've had a holiday booked to Paphos since the first lockdown and hadn't heard from Love Holidays once to see if the hotel we had booked was open as we are due to fly soon. We actually had to email the hotel in paphos ourselves only to find out that they wasnt opening this year, still nothing so we've had to pay more to stay at another hotel and sort it ourselves. I've been ringing and emailing on a daily basis to try and get through to someone but haven't managed it yet. We've had no advice with regard to doing flight passes getting NHS passes all of this we have had to find out ourselves. We booked with Love Holidays as in previous years we have found them helpful but not this year. We won't be going with them again.

do not normally write reviews but PLEASE READ on THIS IS IMPORTANT***** I am deeply disappointed by the customer service received by this company. I booked a holiday using the credit card that I had recently changed to my married name. Love holidays automatically booked my flight tickets in the same name which does not appear on my passport. I called to tell them about this and they said 'you are to blame you should have read the small print' I explained that I had not at any point suggested to them that this is the name I would use for the airline booking as my passport was in my maiden name. I asked to speak to a manage and they said ' we cannot put you through to managers' at no point did they offer any apology or any kindness, the customer care was truly awful and I found the whole call very upsetting to the point I said I wanted to complain. I was told 'fine the details are on the website'. I asked for the call handlers name and she said we do not give last names. In summary please be careful when you book online-this updates your air line tickets immediately, without notifying you. Customer care is awful, there are no available managers to help with issues and you are likely to be spoken to in an abrupt manner. This whole experience has been really upsetting on a human level and I now have to pay £100 to the airline to change my name and another £25 admin fee to LOVE HOLIDAY for an administrative error that I was not even aware of. if you are thing of booking with this company forget it- go to a reputable company who will show you care (even if its your fault kindness goes a long way) LOVE HOLIDAY? ruin holiday would be more appropriate-you need to train your staff in customer care, employ some managers and make your administrative procedures much, much clearer, instead of grabbing peoples upfront and letting them down with a huge bump.
