“2nd holiday with LH - 1st was all inclusive luxury to Maldives - faultless. 2nd was a last minute budget trip to Crete. LH themselves were efficient through the booking process and organising transfers. However the Hotel (Almyrida Village Hotel) definitely let them down. Spotlessly clean, and a fantastic pool although a slide doesnt really qualify as a "water park" but their food was appalling and the accommodation considerably shabby. Shower was poor, silly me didnt realise that if you want hot water in the shower - you should turn the tap towards cold! Toilet heavily stained, fridge froze everything even on low setting and reception team not very helpful. The hotel is billed as 3* and I would use it again as it was clean and in a great location, and cheap so I guess its a case of you get what you pay for. Just dont expect to be wowed by the breakfasts and definitely dont expect to experience a luxury bathroom. As I have already said, it is clean and for that reason, worth staying. There are many tavernas and coffee bars a five minute walk away so go for room only and you should be happy.”

“Wow! This place was incredible! The staff were beyond helpful, so eager to help, very friendly and extremely hardworking. The food was delicious with local ingredients and tasted amazing. High quality ingredients and variety. We didn’t get to try the Market Restaurant as not enough time but even the snacks at the poolside were brilliant with good quality ice cream too such as Nuii. Great selections of coffees and shops available inside the hotel too. Right on the promenade, lots to see and do and great local entertainment. Cleanliness was brilliant, from outside the hotel to inside. We stayed in PARTIAL SEA VIEW but had views of the mountains on the other side, perfect for what we wanted. The rooms were quiet when the balcony door opened and the other hotel users were very respectful. We were on the Prestige 5th floor which granted private access to the rooftop pool but it was an additional cost and due to just a short visit we didn’t see the benefit. The main pool was warm and accessible, and enjoyed the idea of not having to fight for a lounger as the loungers needed to be pre booked. Highly recommended and would love to go back.”

“Great holiday at HL paradise Island Lanzarote, staff at the hotel were excellent 👍 food for the kids was not good enough and more could be done, but we did speak to the manager and he arranged individual meals for our little one.”

“We had a wonderful stay, the beach with very fine sand, clean and warm water. We had a room with a sea view, very spacious, clean, the room was cleaned every day! The staff was super attentive and helpful if you needed anything! The food was varied for all tastes! Yes, so a vacation at Sousse Palace is worth it!🥰♥️”

“I had a genuinely great time and came home feeling relaxed, rested and recuperated. Having everything so well organised and scheduled made a huge difference, particularly when travelling with children on the spectrum, as I didn’t have to worry about what was happening next. It allowed me to properly switch off and enjoy the holiday, and I came home feeling refreshed and ready to battle the world again!”
