“Mid Term car park very handy but too expensive”

“I booked online and the gate wouldn't let me out on my return. I had to hit the 'help' button. The guy at the other end was really helpful though and just let me straight through. The bus service to the terminal is regular and quick. I can't fault this service.”

“our only problem with the parking was the weather as the bus stop shelter does not protect from the wind and rain, fortunately we didn't have to wait too long for a bus”

“Weak points first - Signage was only OK (confusing where drop-off and short stay entrances differ and no useful signage at all regarding where free bays might be in the short stay). Some layout issues too as there are rows without exits at the ends (or these had been blocked), meaning that if you drive down one and there is no free space you need to perform a hazardous reverse or a million-point turn. Now the good points - Location superbly convenient and not much price premium over the medium stay, which made it feel a real bargain. Also needed the assistance of staff over intercom, it was very clear and easy to have the conversation and the staff could not have been more helpful and considerate. Please pass on my thanks.”

“This was the first time we parked at Luton airport car park. We were able to find space easily and they were good. Only one thing we need to comment was there was not a very good display to the long term car park from the main road. For mid-term car park the display was in green shows clearly and easy to follow. But we cannot find the Long term car park with the proper color and not mentioned in big letters. Specially we came around 5.30 am and was a bit difficult to follow the sign. If you could improve this then this is a best car park which we can recommend to our friends and others.”

“Would of achieved very good if i had returned and my car had been cleaned as was full of dust from the car park. Apart from that it was good!!”

“Best compromise between cost and closeness - usually use it. But - 1/ number plate recognition system didn't recognise our pre-paid booking, so we were threatened with £zillions on the way out. Quickly solved by courteous staff, but still an hassle. 2/ paucity of direction signs to the exit left us doing an unneccessary tour of the car park.”

“Parked for a week in April 2015. Good pick-up and drop-back bus service for the terminal. Entrance to car park was a bit confusing as some of the road markings need updating. Only slight issue is the car park has been laid with large stones which have not yet bedded in and are strewn across the lanes - good reason to drive slowly if you don't want them flicking up and damaging bodywork. If you prefer self parking at a reasonable price then this is a good option.”

“I got confused as to where the entrance was for the pre-book parking as i thought this was the priority parking until a taxi driver told me i had to use the next entrance along which looked more like the disabled entrance.”

“My registration was not picked upon entry and upon exiting I was issued with a request for the far higher non prebooked rate instead of simply going through. Matter was however resolved upon speaking to a staff member via the phone system at the gate. Due to the time of night there was no big queue so no inconvenience caused to other users and it was speedily resolved. It may have been different had there been a number of cars behind me. Leaving this aside everything else was fine and would use both the carpark and the short term at that.”

“I can book online, park the car easily, get a bus fairly quickly and it takes only a few minutes travel time. Not particularly cheap - I could get a taxi cheaper if it was not just me.”

“Sometimes the car registration is not recognised so you have to buzz through to get the barrier opened. Could a small section of the metal barrier on the main road to the airport be removed opposite the mid term car park to allow for people to walk to and from the terminal ?”
