“There seems to be a county wide shortage of pine architrave or at least in County Durham. Pine is perhaps cheaper but often quite wonky and often has a load of knots that need treating before painting. I was a bit sceptical about ordering MDF architrave online as it is horribly susceptible to water damage and not immune to bending especially when stored on the flat edge. I can't fault the architrave delivered, it was perfectley dry, straight, no dents and the delivery was by skirting world and not another company.”

“No complaints about the product but was alarmed at the delivery. Our items were delivered at 0.3.38 in the morning and left outside. As it happens it was fine but not sure what the outcome would have been had it been raining, not very good for MDF!”

“Service was spot on. Driver was very polite. Prices were fine. Only down side was that the ends of most lengths were scuffed. Ends wrapped in pallet wrap is not enough protection.”

“The skirting was great - the only thing I would say is it isnt clear that the quantity is 1m - most other website the quantity means number of skirting board lengths (usually 3.5m or 4.2 lengths) so when I ordered the boards I put in 12 - thinking it would be 12 lots of the lengths not 12m worth so I think this could be clearer on the website. Some of the boards were slightly damaged also when they arrived.”

“This is the fourth lot of MDF skirting we've purchased from Skirting World, and each time I've been extremely happy with the product and end result. The issue I had with my last order isn't with the product, but the delivery driver. We're a business, all deliveries are signposted to go to goods-in, and I put this clearly in the order notes too. The guy pulled up outside our reception, unloaded the skirting, dropped it on the pavement outside the door and got back in his van - our receptionist thought he'd gone back for something but the van drove off. Even if he couldn't be bothered driving 200ft to goods in he could at least have stuck his head round the door and told the receptionist what he'd dropped off, but he didn't speak to anyone, didn't get a signature or anything, just dropped it on the pavement and left.”

“Really impressed with the quality of the mdf skirting from skirting world. Delivered with no damage which is rare these days. Only improvement would be regarding delivery. Although it was free, which was great, it was delivered at 11:50pm and left outside my home on my driveway (it is winter). Thankfully it did not get water damaged.”
