“I bought 4 Palestinian scarves almost R300 with shipping the amount R575.. They shipping company UPS phoned me I must pay another R700 that is what customs required.. I refused because I feel that is daylight robbery. Very dissapointed.”

“This is most rubbish and bad customer service I ever seen .been waiting 2 months to get refund ,each time they give me excuses that we have send your issue to the relvent department.. Do not purchase, poor quality clothes too.. very bad customer service .they just want to take money from you and will not give you refund.”

“Bad company. Clothes don't fit right according to size guides on their site. I had to return some of the clothes I ordered because of bad fit or not quality material. I still don't recommend to buy from Modanisa, their clothes look on the site but not up to standards when recevied, there should be better description of garments. Shop at your own risk. When returning items they don't give you refund.”

“I had been excited to try out a new company with modest fashion but I was seriously disappointed with the quality of the items I had received (including the smell of cigarette smoke in all of my items!) and the experience I had with trying to return my items. When I first opened my package, I immediately could see the low quality of the fabric and stitching — however, I did know that it was cheap prices and could have been a possibility. What was unpleasantly surprising was the smell of cigarette smoke in each article of clothing. Due to this (and especially because that smell is hard to get out), I wanted to return my items. I used their Easy Return Center and had multiple pages with errors. Then, I could not access my return form or shipping label. I tried reaching out to customer service on Whatsapp without luck and only received auto-generated responses that claimed there was no return shipping info for the order number that I gave. I tried to call their customer service number but was never able to reach them. Now I am stuck with items I do not want, can't return them, and can't get a refund. I definitely will not be shopping with them again and will be telling my friends to avoid their company.”

“Oh my god I don't think the owner of modanisa is the same owner of last year or Before i had never had such a bad time dealing with return. Please awnser my email for return I have two different orders to return and you have send me only one order shipping label and if it is possible please make them one return so I don't have to pay too much money on return.”

“This is terrible revolting 🤢 company which likes to keep your money & not give you your goods. Very dirty crooked dishonest company which has diabolical customer services. The quality of clothes is poor & this company is absolutely useless & rubbish & should be closed down as terrible.”

“I had ordered some items from modanisa on eid and before eid, and now it has been 1 month and more that they are not replying to my any emails and any calls for return help I requested for returns they automatically chose for me the two months return with out any shipping label or something now i am trying to contact them for help how to delete it and make it easy return they are not responding, I would never buy anything from modanisa they are such pain!”

“I have been waiting over 6 weeks for my order. Finally went to site to check on it. Order status said delivered. I did not receive any delivery notification, nor did I receive the package. Unable to talk to a real person to get answers. Don't order from here!!!”

“My first order came in 10 days excellent stuff I immediately ordered another one 18 days past no news where my order is. I am trying to track my order the app says u have no order. I received receipt in email confirming my order and also received hermes code for delivery. Even receiving that code for delivery another 10 days past. Very disappointed 😞 I really can't locate where my order is ? If it coming or not.”

“Ordered a bunch clothes. one dress came damaged and ripped and the others were not the size that was described on their website. Customer service took over 2 weeks to get back to me and when I finally want to return the items THE RETURN SLIP IS NOT SHOWING. Their website also won't let me delete the return order and start again. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I used to love Modanisa but most of the dresses I have received recently are thin, cheap or damaged. Do not order from them unless you are patient (but that won't even last) or don't mind loosing money.”

“This website is horrible!!! If I could give them negative stars, I would. I placed about 4 orders. One order was missing 3 items about $30.00 total and the insisted that they shipped but I never received them. My other order, they charged me for it and have not shipped my order for over 10 days. When I sent email to ask when they can ship my order, they replied once that someone will assist me. Well, that "someone" never did. I sent like 10 emails now and no response whatsoever. I am done with this company! Please please don't ever buy from this company to save yourself the trouble.”

“I like modanisa. Their size charts confused me at first but now i got used to ordering the right size now. Their dresses are usually very long but i’m just short so no complaint there. My orders arrive in a week or less. I’m just sad that one of my dresses didn’t come with a belt like it was supposed to and their customer service is terrible. Last time i ordered the wrong sizes and wanted to cancel before they sent it to me, and they never responded to my email and i can’t wear those clothes anymore.”
