We used Molly Maid (Thame) in Oct’24. The salesperson made tall promises of a professional DEEP clean service as part of the quotation; however, the information was not cascaded to the cleaners. The cleaners were nice and courteous BUT the work notes given to them but very different to the quote. They were clueless on whether to clean the cupboards, windows, skirting and had to call the head office numerous times to clarify. We had to point out several missed areas in the bedrooms and bathrooms. They did vacuum the property well but the concept of “deep clean” was non-existent. The cloths used for wiping and dusting was dirty and pre used instead of “brand new” as promised by the salesperson during the quotation. The stairs were left uncleaned initially, though was correctly cleaned after being pointed out. The cleaners were friendly and corrected their many many mistakes when pointed out. The office called the next day, apologised for the confusion and poor quality of the end-to-end experience, offered to send another cleaners but by this time we were frustrated and exhausted and requested for a refund The total job was £595 incl VAT, however it was a mediocre service for the amount paid. “Beware: It is not MOLLY MAID policy to offer refunds.” So the bottom line is if you are looking for DEEP clean, please look elsewhere.

I use Molly Maids Horsham on a regular basis. Dee and Christine are delightful people, always on time, diligent in their work, efficient courteous and friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are most helpful with the advice they give for one or two issues even if their suggestions are slightly outside their immediate responsibilities. An asset to their company without any doubt and it is always good to see them with their cheerful dispositions. Over the months they have become almost like friends. We used their Virginia Water, Ascot, and Weybridge branch. While they were very professional when providing the fee quote, their cleaning service fell short. They missed obvious areas and showed no concern when we asked them to re-clean twice. Eventually, we gave up and let them leave, as it seemed pointless to continue. Overall, our experience was terrible, and we would never use them again—lazy staff and a complete waste of money.

AVOID THIS COMPANY . When they finished initial clean costing £396 on closer inspection, after just looking surface level I was not satisfied with service . Family bathroom -1- They missed pee stained toilet seat , 2- pee stained bathroom floor at toilet ,3- floor behind the standing bath still dusty and clearly untouched ,4-shower screen base of glass still dusty & gunky , 5-behind tap on vanity unit full of toothpaste & short beard hairs not touched ! Hall - 1double door at entry to kitchen - debris and dusty still at doors. Lounge - 1-footstool not hoovered still covered in cat hair 2- Broke (and turned breakage to back on fire hearth ) my ceramic ginger pot had for over 10 years ! The maids were there for 3 hrs and did do other areas well . So I simply asked for recompense for missed cleaning and damages . The response was ludicrous ,we offer a return visit to fix !! Why would you have a service back that initially failed to complete the task ?When I told her no thanks my daughter had completed the cleaning . She said well that’s what we offer as our 100 % guarantee of satisfaction. How about just knowing service will be completed in first visit ??? Re breakage the “manager” Tracey had to check with staff as they hadn’t mentioned it !! Of course not they missed cleaning and failed to mention that either !!! Basically refusing to give me even my breakage cost back .. such poor customer service .. DO NOT USE they take the money and absolutely no shame in keeping it when I sent her photos that eve showing the breakage and missed cleaning . Very poor customer service and attitude .

I lost my job after looking after my very sick mother for 2 years that's the thanks you get after working for molly maid wimbledon for 30 years get told your job is no longer here and can't you sign on disgusting I would never recommend wimbledon molly maid to anyone disgusting attitude to an ex member of staff .

The Molly maid service said they will invoice us because they couldn’t carry out the work due to a power cut disgusting fraudelent behavior who would want to let someone in there home if they behaved that way ! I intend to file a police report

First time to use a house cleaning service. Called Molly Maid to have my house deep cleaned. Dunia and Claudia did a wonderful job. Very pleased. I would give them a 5 star rating. I thought a little expensive but worth it. My house smells so fresh and appliances look brand new. Now I called to sign up for my house to be cleaned 1/month. The cost quoted didn’t make sense to me So I decided not to use them again .I don’t know what a going rate is since this is my first time. But I may call them back and sign up to have Dunia and Claudia come again. They were great and very friendly.

I’m actually not a customer but was shocked at the rude, passive aggressive emails I received from the franchise owner Tony Page. I would never use this company and am awaiting details of their complaints procedure. I’m shocked

I had an appointment with the local “Business Owner” this morning at 9.30 which was confirmed by both sides by e mail.She didn’t turn up I rang their local office and was told they would ring me back nothing so far ! Text messages and e mails have also generated no responses at all ~ Strikes me that it is an exceedingly way to run your business!!

Complaining about a particular cleaner in the Gerrards cross area, blonde lady with a severe acne issue. This individual was in a molly maid car and was beating her dog, when confronted she got extremely aggressive and threatened us. This individual smelt of alcohol and is an extremely bad representation of the company " molly maid" I advise the company to investigate this employee and sort this issue out asap.

Would give zero stars if possible. We originally arranged for MollyMaid Hampshire to clean our house every two weeks, at a cost of approx. £100 per clean (3 bed / 2 bath). Some of the girls were fantastic and it was decent quality. However this swiftly started to deteriorate, especially as the girls became less regular and varied week on week. Shelves would not be dusted, items would not be lifted to clean underneath, the 'mopping' consisted of simply moving dirt around the floor, etc. Basic items that we would inspect to be included as part of their 'promise to deliver a high quality clean'. Initially after sending photos of the poor quality to their manager, she agreed with us on poor quality and was receptive towards remediating it (even though we often offered to do it ourselves and they could just aim to improve the next time). However, the poor service continued, to the point we had mould growing on the bathroom walls as they were only given a cursory wipe (at best). The cleans became shorter and shorter, with the last clean only lasting an hour with two girls in attendance - as cost of £50ph! Manager then decided to go AWOL, viewing photos and agreeing to check with the team, but then deciding to go completely radio silent for two weeks despite the promise to feedback the next day. Eventually came back saying that she had checked with her team and they were mystified at the complaints, despite the photos. The manager, Elizabeth was incredibly unhelpful & quite rude, showing little interest in addressing any concerns, not remediating us for the high price we paid for a sub-quality clean and ignoring all images sent as evidence (instead signing the rhetoric that she had spoken to her team who has said they had completed a high quality job, what a shock). Even when we requested on occasion an increase to weekly cleans (a lower price point, £70), the team still charged us £100 - be careful they do not try to scam you. We even had one week where no one turned up at all, but we were still charged - it was only when we asked they pretended it was a "computer error". We would not recommend MollyMaid to anyone. High price points for poor quality cleans. If only they could keep the girls who complete a decent job and not have their manager Elizabeth involved at all!

I have been using molly maid stevenage team for a while now, I recently had them come to do a deep clean, I was extremely happy with the outcome, The girls are very friendly and polite aswell very impressed my house has never looked so clean would definitely recommend!

Great service. So easy to book and ladies always turn up on time and ready to work. Really happy with the attention to detail. would recommend them for deep cleans and then we have weekly cleans to keep on top. Great company x

I am writing this review on behalf of my 74 year old mother. She has been using Molly Maid for years and they have been taking advantage of her for years but she is too nice to say anything. They claim to charge a premium for the service to allow for flexibility. I’m not sure if the flexibility is right when it is for the cleaners to come when they like at any time and any day. Sometimes they don’t even come each week. It is completely adhoc. My mum has to make sure the smallest clutter is removed otherwise they clean around the objects and can’t even be bothered to lift them up. For this “premium” service my mum pays £70 for two people to come and “clean” for 45mins!!!! Absolutely shameful. I use a cleaning service myself and they charge £50 for one person to come for 3 hours and at least they move small objects like books and magazines!

From start to finish, Molly Maid Market Harborough was inefficient. Confusion with times of visit to a job poorly done. Two friendly maids arrived but did not do what I call a deep clean. Numerous areas left undone. I gave them a very generous tip when they left but had I thoroughly inspected their work first, would not have done so. As a very senior citizen, I feel I have been taken for a ride.

This company don’ t care they parked across my drive so I couldn’t get up the drive wouldn’t have them clean my home and when I contacted the office they were sarcastic not helpful at all. Is this their standard of care?

The hard work by Molly Maid staff is so appreciated and makes such a difference to me and my partner (who both work full time). The cleans are always done to such a high standard and the attention to detail by the staff is incredible. The staff are also just generally lovely and personable, and I have never once seen anything but smiles and positive attitudes when they come in. I could not commend them highly enough!

Cause MAJOR damage to my home and did not even acknowledge it Without a doubt the worse experience I’ve ever had from a company used for my home. The worst part was Babalo Jantjies cleaners dragged our bed across the floor resulting in major damage to the wooden floor. The floor will probably have to be replaced as the damage is so deep. When I contacted Babalo, no acknowledgment or apology was given and he simply said “ we clean behind the beds and that he told me”! Very low standard clean also and missed lots of parts of the house. Left surfaces dusty, a dirty cloth on my velvet chair, mirrors dirty, none of the upstairs floors were mopped, shower screen was not cleaned, viakall left dripping in the bathroom, taps missed.

A barely mobile lady and her heavily disabled son used these cleaners against my advice. For a cleaning company that came several times a week, the house was not clean. It is sad to see the weak get the worst service and be taken advantage of. Guilty of being too kind, in their innocence. I feel it fair to say that Molly Maid are a company that employs unqualified staff with bad work contracts. There is little to no incentive to do a good job. Management never comes to the premises to inspect the results and the only time you will ever see management is on the first day when signing the contract. After that, they "ghost" you all the way, in modern parlance. By default, the customer is placed in the position of the complainer, whereas it is their job to find out if the job is being done well. They are expensive, for a service you could do better yourself. Cleaning staff lacks a proactive attitude that can't be taught. They don't see the work nor do they look for it. Dust and cobwebs left in full view in the corners lead to absurd situations in which you almost have to tell the professionals their job. They will literally sweep round a paper bin without lifting it. They will not look behind doors either. For vulnerable people, it is very hard to get out of this contract which is another thing to consider. Among my various memories, one of the cleaners came in with the flu during Covid times, sneezing all over the house. Another stood around just 20 minutes after arrival, not knowing what to do other than butter a piece of toast for the elderly lady in question. We looked at her filling in her feedback on her phone on our clock. It led to uncomfortable looks between us as she stood in the surrounding mess, oblivious to it all. Fridge needed cleaning, grease needed cleaning off the extractor fan, armchairs needed moving...she had no idea. When she came out of her daydream and realized she was standing in the kitchen with another 20 minutes before leaving time, she would say "D'y want yer book?" and go and fetch it in the bedroom. (A phrase that became famous among us) For a house in which the residents hardly moved, it should have been spic and span to the highest degree. Maybe also there is the fact that cleaning is always rushed due to the number of houses they have on their schedule - a fact that the cleaners will happily share with you. I have no idea how this company stays in business by not caring to such an extent. The staff are only partly to blame, since it is clear they are not briefed or trained. Sorry, Mollies but fair is fair.
