“I have had deliveries from morrisons on a few occasions - previously been fine and this time they decided to substitute items without asking if this would be OK - i am not happy with this as if i were in the shop myself shopping i personally would just leave it and buy that item from another store - if this is how they are going to continue then i can't see me getting anymore home deliveries - from here at least. If they don't have them and a don't want a substitute item them i think they should just refund the price of that item or items.”
“Scruffy, dull atmosphere in the aisles, looks ten years out of date. Silly staff uniforms.
Plus side, the bakery section is still ok. But it’s not a pleasant shopping experience and your prices are way too high for what you offer. Sorry but Lidl and Aldi will soon shut you down, you can’t compete .”
“Since changing from central distribution centres to "local" (a store 3 times as far away as the closest large one to me), food quality has been really poor. From completely defrosted frozen items to products several days passed their use by date. Tried raising with customer services as had been poor for several weeks in a row after it being quite good before that, but they are seemingly as useful as their delivery vans which don't have freezers, so have stopped using them and won't return.”
“On line shopping very, very helpful delivery drivers but two weeks running very disappointed with strawberries. Week one the were just tiny making de- hulling them almost impossible. I gave up halfway through the punnet and threw them away. This week although they were in date at least half of them were so soft and mushy I once again threw them away.”
“I have ordered my shopping on several occasions online, I live near Headingly and the shopping is done at Harehills ! My order has been wrong every time and they left the security tag on the alcohol I had purchased, I placed an order Today and they had swapped 1 tin of catfood which I really needed for a box of cat biscuits which were double the price !! I wont be ordering from Morrisons any more and shall be advising family and friends to do likewise.”

“Yesterday's online home delivery service was shocking in many ways.
Many substitutions for fairly basic items such as yoghurts. frozen chips, bacon, to name but a few.
Confusion over readymade meals eg
Fish Pie not available so substituted with Cumberland Pie but as Cumberland Pie was also ordered separately it came up as unavailable?
No selected grapes or strawberries, 3 different sandwich fillers, 2 different cheeses were all unavailable!
Out of an order of £192, £20 of goods were unavailable.
To add insult to injury delivery was delayed by 2 hours out of a 1 hour slot arriving very late in the evening and disrupting our bedtime.
Will I be likely to use Morrisons home delivery again?

“A good basic supermarket but as an elderly shopper I am really disappointed that they don't do ready meals for veggies.
There is only one Quorn tikka masala and that's it
I don't count lasagne as I find all pasta
Disgusting and never eat it.
Brecon where I live is particularly bad
They used to do rice meals, musheroom stroganoff , 5 bean stew.
What has happened to them?
There are more vegans and veggies than ever nowadays and Morrison's
Could not care less and completely ignores us.

“Bought whole fresh salmon today at reduced price of £9 a kilo. It was whole and in the freezer no small salmons. It was weighed with head and tail on. Assistant cut these off but charged full price. She did cut it up for us. The whole bone was left in. When cooked you can pull the bone out but plenty of other bones in. I have bought their whole salmon before which had been packaged. There was no head or tail on and it had been deboned. After paying over £20 very disappointed won't buy again.”
“Morrisons pack of 4 salmon fishcakes bought at Redditch supermarket...probably the worst fishcakes we have ever experienced. Although you could taste salmon, they were dry with a centre of tasteless cheese. Would be willing to pay a lot more than £3 for a decent product. You buy cheap, you get tasteless cheap. Such a shame products like this are being turned out.”
“Customer before me at the checkout knew the cashier and they had a nice chat about five minutes long while the queue behind me got longer and longer
I have noticed this before in Morrisons and I think cashiers should be told when there is a queue to tell their friend that she is busy.
I do not like Morrisons I find the food overpriced compared to other supermarkets

“My husband & I went to Colindale & ordered Christmas lunch, when it came up it was cold, so we sent it back. The quality of food on the plate was very poor, processed Turkey. When it came back it was hot as they had put it in the microwave. We ate some of it, it was awful, then left (should have got our money back). My husband was up all night with stomach pain & diarrhoea.”
“My delivery was scheduled between 2.30 to 3.30. It arrived at 2.15 15 mins today, which was not a problem
This was my first delivery with Morrisons and my last. The shopping arrived in Morrisons bags and the packing was abysmal. They put a small bar of Cadbury chocolate in one bag and my cream cakes were put at the bottom of another bag with the rest of my shopping on top. I explained to the driver that I didn’t want to keep the bags and wanted to give them to him. He said everyone kept the bags and returned them with their next shop. I explained that it was unlikely that I would be doing another order with Morrisons .
I then started to check my produce to ensure I was satisfied and he then said that he only was allowed 4 minutes per customer. He went to his van to leave me to unpack my shopping and consequently some of my produce fell onto the floor. I called him back and asked him to help me, which he did reluctantly, reminding me again that he only had 4 mins per customer. I was absolutely disgusted and told him to go and that I would not be doing any further on line shopping with Morrisons.
I do online shopping each week as I am a senior citizen and find it easier . My other supermarket whom I use are always polite, helpful and encourage me to check each item, especially the cost of food today.
I would urge Morrisons to change their policies and encourage their staff to pack correctly and extend more courtesy to their customers. They failed miserably today.”
“Awful shopping experience in Newport store .
Staff look miserable and are not pleasant very unhelpful. But there are some good products in store though their value free range eggs 68 pence and are are lovely.
I just thought I would order on line today and it was the worst experience. The site is laggy and confusing not straight forward like other shops. I wasted two hours and there was no slots or click and collect today. I tried tomorrow but my first time offer code with money off, would not work. It tells me to change the slot time. I tried this on several occasions but it was the same. Also lots of items out of stock. I could find no where in there site for customer support to resolve my issues. I left never to come back. Don't waste you time!”
“Aisles blocked with cages of empty cardboard boxes and items ready for shelf filling, generaly untidy store. Scruffy rusty freezers frozen up with loose vegetables and fish fingers etc lurking in the cabinets. Butchery staff with filthy blood stained aprons.
Checkouts replaced with to many self service tills resulting in long queues and compalainig customers. This Worthing store is a disgrace .”
