Does anyone in authority at Morrisons ever read these critical reviews. If so, do they feel embarrassed or guilty about the way they treat customers? I suspect they simply do not care. What a way to run a multi-million pounds business! So long as the fat cats are content, that appears to be all that matters. I have used this supermarket for many years and have seen a massive decline in standards in recent years. The staff were always happy, smiling people but sadly, not anymore. Since the CEO sold out to an American group, it has gone from bad to worse. He made millions from the sale but at what cost to loyal customers. Prices are increasing out of proportion to the cost of living. Many items are exhorbitant. There are much cheaper supermarkets out there. Shame on you.

Our first order for delivery will be our last! About half the items of the £60 order were wrong. Weird substitutions, items absent and items clearly not ordered delivered. Payment a complete disaster too. Not at all hopeful customer services can sort it out.

Yes, but you said nothing about the quality of said store's goods. They are all the same with their fresh stuff. Past or wbout to pass the BBF dates and no reduction in price.

Very very dissatisfied with Morrison's delivery. Well over half of the delivery missing. Rang customer services to be told delivery complete. When asked if delivery driver could return with missed groceries the reply was I can't get in touch with him. The only option was to accept a refund which would take 7 to 10 days to clear in the bank. Absolutely pathetic service from Morrisons. We will not be using Morrison's online shopping again.

What's not to like? READ ON. *Late deliveries, no explanation *Short dated 'fresh' items *Goods shown as 'stock' on the website then unavailable for delivery Every one of the above has applied to all deliveries I have received Irritating and frustrating in equal measure Have been a long term (walk in) customer but have cancelled my subscription pass and will never use their on line system again Are two multi-packs of Walkers Crinkle Cut Crisps (not ordered) supposed to pacify me for this inefficiency and inept service? Truly pathetic Radical review and overhaul required by management and IT

Five stars for tins of cat food? It might very well have been catlicious but the idea is to award stars for the company itself. Morrisons have to be the almost worse with their own stuff apart from ALDI that is. Certainly their prices are way above average.

My local Morrison is Ferry Road Edinburgh, last night I needed some advice about two chicken crowns I was about to buy, the butcher had just gone off duty, but another member of staff found him and he came back to his department gave me the information I needed and also offered to bone the chicken for me. I thought it was very kind as he had probably had a very busy day and would just wan't to get home, so thank you for your help it really was much appreciated. R Rae Edinburgh

On October 28th I booked a delivery for December 20th for between 8pm & 9pm. At 8.50pm on the 20th December I received a call from the driver to say they were running an hour behind due to an issue with a lorry. This was the last I heard and my shopping, CHRISTMAS FOOD SHOPPING, failed to arrive. This morning (December 21st) I spent over half an hour on hold to customer services who were beyond useless and couldn’t even get through to the depot responsible. Offered me a £10 voucher off my next shop, which won’t be used as I’ll never give them another penny, and dropped the bombshell it could take 10 days for me to get my money back. I’ve sent several emails and not one has been replied to. So, no food for Christmas and no money to go elsewhere and buy from there. Utterly disgraceful ‘service’.

Aisles blocked with cages of empty cardboard boxes and items ready for shelf filling, generaly untidy store. Scruffy rusty freezers frozen up with loose vegetables and fish fingers etc lurking in the cabinets. Butchery staff with filthy blood stained aprons. Checkouts replaced with to many self service tills resulting in long queues and compalainig customers. This Worthing store is a disgrace .

Morrisons Tavistock have banned all school children in uniform, unless accompanied, from their shops because they have deemed they are all THIEVES. If the child changes out of uniform and into normal cloths they will allow them in. This completely unfair and ridiculous measure prevents children who care for their parents being able to shop on their way home from school. Morrisons MORE REASONS TO SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Morrisons has changed a lot over the last few years, and not for the better. Poor customer service, sky high prices, reward scheme collapsed, rude staff, disregard for consumer law and protections. Refusal to accept a return of a faulty Hone Brand toaster for me - £25 wasted, refusal from the store, 4 weeks to get a similar response from customer services online. Think long and hard before spending hard earned cash with this company. Asda and Tesco may have their faults, but they stick to the law.

Went in the Reddish, Stockport store to enquire if a microwave which I bought from there several years ago was still safe to use as the paint was peeling Off inside. The manager told me to return it but I told him that I had bought it 3 to 4 years ago. He said that it didn’t matter. I then showed him the receipt and it was nearly 4 years old. He hardly looked at it and said again to return it. I said “Are you sure?” as I never expected that. He nodded and walked away. My husband and I are in our 80s and not in good health. Two days later, we managed to get the microwave into the back of my car. I went to customer services to ask if someone could help us to lift it out of the car. The same man came and took it to the back of the store telling me to go to customer services with the receipt. I explained that as it was 4 years old, I had no intention of returning it till the manager told me to. The girl got on the phone to the manager who immediately denied telling me to return it. He said that I had said that it was 3to4 MONTHS old. If that had been the case, I would have returned it straight away. I was only asking for advice. I thought he had been worried about radiation leakage! I felt so humiliated and asked the girl to tell him to put it back in my car. I certainly was trying to pull a fast one. We had struggled to get this in the car and it is still there as we are frightened of using it. I will never set foot in Morrisons again after many, many years as a loyal How did this awful rude man become a manager? Mrs Lane

I had a terrible experience with Morrisons. Extremely poor and rude customer service from a Morrisons employee. I reported it, as did another person who overheard the employee. The supervisor told me she would call me to follow up. She did not. After following up with the duty manager, we were told the staff member has an abrupt style and there was nothing they could do other than make a record of conversation. We were told they moved her from one area to another due to her manner. We were told there was nothing they could do because she would involve the union. The manager agreed to follow up three days later but did not. How do you follow that up as a customer?

Years ago Morrisons was s brilliant company but now it has hit rock bottom, aggressive staff, non existent over paid management. Time to do a big overhaul of your staff, management and stores Morrisons and call it day or let someone else take you over. Oh how I miss Sir Ken Morrison and how he ran them stores....A genius he was, but now it has all gone to POT.

Morrisons has really gone downhill, the customer service skills that staff are suppose to have, have gone most staff have become rude, aggressive and I don't care attitude, management don't want to know your problem and hide. The stores are extremely dirty, shelves well not as full as the Morrison I know. It's time to overhaul and get rid of your top people and poor in store management and staff. The staff that are pleasant look haggard and tired and have aged overnight, such a shame. Morrison is no longer in the same league as the other supermarkets and a gut feeling tells me they won't be around much longer, maybe closures or a take over is on the cards.

Ordered an online shop for my 86 year old Father. Shop came on time but shame on the driver who left all the shopping on the door mat and then stood back and watched whilst my Father (with a heart condition and limited dexterity etc) struggled and became very distressed and breathless. Some 24 cans of beer went missing!? I have now made over a dozen calls to get an apology and compensation for my Father to no avail. Iceland and Waitrose offer humanity and care in these challenging and worrying times. SHAME on Morrisons

The person below who says they work for Morrisons in click and collect I can understand what you are saying and maybe your store is one of the good ones but you can't explain why the customer service of some staff and management is atrocious and head office, no one wants to shop in store because they want to be safe and judging by what is seen Morrison is not following government guidelines too many people let in etc, and staff have a bad attitude now because they have been giving the title "Key Worker" you don't see nurses, postmen, bin men, teachers acting that way. Yes people are grateful to get food from supermarkets and shops but for those who have been treated shoddily by Morrisons when this lockdown eases and pandemic ends people won't forget their treatment from Morrisons whether it be staff, managers or head office they will go elsewhere and you know in retail they are forever getting rid of staff and management.

Morrison must have the worst staff and management ever employed (some staff are nice though but only a few) yes they have worked during this pandemic but so have others too ( including me) but it doesn't give them the right to shout, abuse or laugh at customers like Morrison staff. Where did you get these people from Morrisons? Managers don't care about anyone except their bank balance and profits. You should be fined for not following government guidelines, which you are not. Seriously Morrisons you need to restructure your staff and management, plenty people out there looking for work, young and old who can offer better customer service than what you have now! You do know that the customers pay your staffs wages, without them you wouldn't have a business. Be careful Morrisons because when this virus dies down people will not forget how they were treated from in-store to online delivery and will defiantly be boycotting you because reading these reviews you are peoples last option/ resort because other supermarkets are fully booked or too busy and that says it all and speaks volumes!!!
