“Minutes after ordering, I realized mediums would not fit and called to cancel. They lied and said they would put in a cancel. Instead, I received the too small items and now get to return them. They don't give a full refund. They lie. And the quality is not so good either. Avoid.”

“Online is unreliable, Ordered on March 28 and after 5 days of noticing no changes in shipment tracking information I requested for a refund but customer service said "it could have been that there were no scanning done between locations and have to wait for few days", I waited 3 more days with no progress and requested for refund again. The customer service this time asked me if I really want a refund? and I replied on the email Yes but responded thru email that since it has already been shipped refund could not be processed(What a waste of time...). Then she let me know to wait again until he 12th of April for the package to arrive and the tracking has been updated. When I checked the shipment tracking information, it did changed and it was being shipped from one of their location on that day. Their online order is a gong show and CS keeps lying to their teeth. What a great customer service! Not shopping on their store anymore”

“I bought a ladies Alaskan womens 3 in 1 coat 15 months ago specifically because it was advertised as waterproof and not just water resistant. It is not. Until recently it had only had light wear and mainly for the cold, and when used recently in heavy rain (and tbh not that heavy) the down inner was soaked! No good at all, and not just a little leak from one seam, 3/4 of the back and all arms were wet. I contacted mountain warehouse but because its more than 12 months they do not guarantee it. Is this really deemed acceptable that a waterproof coat is no longer waterproof after 15 months? They offered me a 20% discount voucher but why would I buy anything else from here when I have no confidence the product does what they claim? I asked for the manufacturers details but they won't give me those. I note someone else has the same experience of this particular coat not being waterproof. I would not recommend buying this coat if you want waterproof. I doubt I will buy anything from MW again.”

“Was welcomed in store straight away and asked if we needed any help. We only went into to have a browse, and ended up purchasing a coat! The ladies were very polite and every question was answered to our satisfaction! It is a shame this store in lewes is closing because everyone seems to where counrty outdoor clothing in the town. It looked like it fitted perfectly to the area. And also the staff were great when we visited.”

“Saw a womens goretex waterproof jacket online at a very good price. I’d done a lot of trawling through the websites. MOuntain Warehouse had the best price and an extra 20% off. The first one I ordered was too small, but great service from Kendal MW, they got me the next size up and still at the20% off. Brilliant”

“Twice when returning items (with tags, within the allowed time, perfect condition) they did not refund the tax paid. (Canada) I called and got the run around and then was told the tax would be refunded, yet it never was. I'm sure CRA would like to know this.”

“Never received my order. They keep saying it got lost. I keep getting emails saying they have received my return but I never returned anything. I never received anything.”

“First package was lost in international mail. Mountain Warehouse re-shipped my item (a puffer jacket) without any issues. I received my item and am happy with the quality for what I paid. Many reviewers say that they have issues with "courier losing parcel" and it takes forever to receive the orders, but they have to remember they're often getting international mail and it takes a bit to get though customs and all that, especially with worker and trucker shortages. So be patient and allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. Quality of products is worth the low price.”

“Purchased hat, mitts and neck warmer for my daughter and needed to exchange for a larger size. I had a receipt but not the loose cardboard it came packaged in. Refused to exchange in store and I emailed customer service who also refused to exchange. Receipt states ‘exchange with proof of purchase’ . How misleading as I have the original receipt. I will not be purchasing from your company again. How disappointing to lose a customer over a $30 purchase.”

“If I could give a negative or zero stars I would. I bought a pair of Mountain Warehouse 'Leather' Hiking Boots approx 6 months ago. After very little use on bitumen and concrete the 'Leather' peeled revealing what looks like a man made vinyl underneath the thin shell. The front bumper has also started to come away leaving me to believe that they are Pleather NOT the 'Leather' that they were advertise as :-( I also bought a pair of hiking socks when they arrived they had a 2 for 1 offer tag on them but I only received 1 pair :-( I contacted them and they NEVER replied :-( Very bad customer service :-( I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN ! ! ! as customer service and honesty in what they are selling APPEARS TO BE a FOREIGN CONCEPT TO THIS COMPANY. You got my money once BUT NEVER EVER AGAIN AND I WILL ENSURE THAT ANYONE I KNOW WILL GIVE THIS COMPANY A WIDE BERTH. Do yourselves a favour consumers go ELSEWHERE TO BUY WHAT YOU WANT/NEED”

“Went to buy snowboots from your Rushden lakes branch,staff to busy sorting christmas costumes to deal with customers, decided to order online, arrived promptly today,1 size 12 right and 1 size 9 left, that's one christmas present ruined. Employ competent people who actually give a toss !!!”

“My one star is over 15$ - I bought two pairs of ski mitts for my son and they arrived with BOGO tags on them - I emailed requesting an adjustment in price as I did not receive that promotion - Talise would not respect that promotion - disappointed . 15$ seems like a small amount to keep a customer but apparently that isn’t what Mountain Warehouse values .”
