“Find it very tasty and easy to follow. When one box didn’t arrive until 5.30, which was a real pain as grandkids waiting for their exciting dinner, received next box free which was very generous.”

“I started My Food Bag recently so my teenage boys could learn to cook without interference from their mother (me). Not only is this happening smoothly each week, they are loving cooking the meals. As a family we are loving the variety of the meals, which has been an added bonus!”

“We really love MFB. Generally all the veges are fresh and plentiful. I really like how generous the portions are and usually there are leftovers for lunch the next day. We have only had the vegetarian option and enjoy the variety as we didn't get that with another similar provider. Thank you Nadia and the team :) Jayne”

“We do enjoy Bargain Box and it has made my life easier (the Mum of the house). The first 2 to 3 weeks the produce was lovely and fresh, we were impressed. We have noticed though over the past 2 weeks the produce hasn't been as good which is disappointing. Personally, I'd like to see steak appear a bit more often. I think we have only had one steak meal (maybe two) in the time we have been with Bargain Box. I do realize steak costs that bit more.”

“Most of the time everything is fresh and good dates but I have had a few occasions where some of the veges are past their best bu the time I use them. Also have had times like this weeks order where there is a couple of ingredients missing which aren’t staples.”

“Majority of recipes are great, with lovely ingredients. Quality is better than our previous provider. As with ALL recipes they generally take longer than indicated (we’re not at chef’s prep speed). The pantry staples are not what we would consider staples eg sweet chilli sauce, so extra though is needed. It would be great if the delivery area were extended as we currently have it delivered to friends.”

“Its a great idea and experience. We have had n o issues with delivery or missing items so have been really happy with that side of it. Its been great for eating more variety of vegetables, portion control and learning new meal techniques and ideas however, we have had a number of meals that were pretty average that my partner just refused to eat (if they are spicy or healthy THEY NEED TO BE TASTY!!) If this wasn't the case we'd probably stick with it but as we are going down to one income soon, the price makes it prohibitive.”

“Getting bargain box is a life changer! No more worries and fights about what to have for tea, no more wastage, no more takeaways all the time. We love the new things we are trying, the simplicity when cooking the meals and we are seeing the benefits physically and mentally of bargain box. Dinner time is no longer stressful and our baby girl is eating so much better because she sees us happy and enjoying our meals. Can't wait til she can tuck into Bargain Box goodness. Best decision ever!”
