“Good quality produce. Menu is interesting and varied, but not a high level of cooking skill required. About every second box has had missing ingredients but customer care team do refund. We are a 2 adult, 1 child family, so we have to order boxes where there is not quite enough, or too much. Love being able to swap out a meal option and being able to skip a week easily when we go away.”

“Love not having to think about what’s for dinner. Produce is always at a high level. My only reason for 4 star instead of 5 is the amount of packaging but I understand why this is the case (if food comes from various suppliers and needs to remain cool)”

“Another job off your mind thinking of what you’re having for dinner for the week. Majority of the time love food bag but the meals can become a little samey so good to have a break from it or have it delivered fortnightly. Would definitely recommend!!”

“I love the food, the ease and the changes in recipes. My food bag definitely makes my live easier without compromising on taste. I can recommend it to everyone. I personally (fresh start) would love to see more vegetarian meals per week and new solutions to avoid the plastic pots for the sauces. With my fresh start I love the fact that it is low on carbs, no sugar and real whole ingredients. I would love to see canola oil being replaced with olive oil or another high quality oil. I also had vegetarian for 3 weeks but I didn't like the fact hat it has so many carbs and some ingredients in the sauces it would normally not buy. But it was very yummy. 5 days would be great.”

“My 17 yr old daughter and I just started receiving your Vegetarian My Food Bag and it's delicious - we're hooked! I'm not sure if you've heard but there's an unknown trick when it comes to teenagers. If you cook the same old, same old boring family meals over and over then your teenager will be so worn down that they actually begin eating vegetables. Our deal is she eats every My Food Bag meal or we stop ordering My Food Bag. It's been 3 months now and she's never eaten so many vegetables in her life! One night I even arrived home from work and dinner was already cooked. I'm tellin' yah, My Food Bag's where it's at.”

“I have resumed my food bag after couple of years. Would like to make a few suggestions, Small brown sachets that contain spices, rice, grains, nuts etc. should be packed separately as they get wet from the moisture from the vegetables The big card box in which my food bag is delivered should be collected back and reused. A bit disappointed as some of the vegetables are not as fresh as they should be. I have taken a photo of the button mushroom packet I got last Sunday- couple of them had already turned brown Errors noted in the recipe notes - e.g. fresh start recipe for Wednesday ( week starting 20th may) under the ingredients list spinach whereas under the instructions it refers to Silverbeet. Recipe for Tuesday 21st may under the instructions says cut the chicken in strips. Next sentence says put a hand on the chicken and cut horizontally. After taking it out from the oven there is again an instruction to cut the chicken? Chicken stock should be supplied if it is required for any particular recipe. It is not a pantry staple in most of the households.”

“I initially ordered My Food Bag prior to having significant surgery. We have tried three different bags. The four adults in our home have all loved the variety of foods and interesting meals. Everything is of top quality and fresh (Something I am known for being very fussy about). We all commented about the new ideas/ways of doing things we have learnt. I’ve noticed an increase in the social /sharing aspect of the meal prep too which is lovely. It’s good value and I am in no hurry to stop our order 11 weeks later. I also love how easy it is to make any changes we want to what we order.”

“About to try the gluten free option. Previously have purchased the gourmet option. I would like to see a gluten free option for 2 people, 4 nights. Gourmet option has been wonderful, but I have to mess around changing out non gluten free ingredients a bit.”

“My food bag delivers great recipes and fresh produce. they deliver fresh new recipes every week, lots of fresh vege's are included including a range of meats. I do wish My Food Bag used less plastic as some things come in plastic that are unnecessary but I do see them make an effort with regards to minimising plastic use.”

“My food bag is great. Only disappointing thing is that they don’t collect the old boxes when delivering a new one. Have used competing services before and they do this. Now I have a pile of old boxes!”
