“We were really sceptical about ordering a My Food Bag but we were so sick of having boring dinners and as the main cook in the house I had begun to hate dinner time. We ordered our first food bag thinking it was a one off order just to "see how it goes". That was six months ago and we haven't looked back since! I can't bang in enough about how much this has changed our families dinner habits, give me time back and I am loving cooking dinner each night. Such an awesome service. As my 9yo would say we "legit" love My Food Bag.”

“We have enjoyed My Foodbag since its early days of operation. We enjoy the flexibility to opt in and out, the easy to follow recipes and fresh ingredients and the fact that it has encouraged us to cook together. Most of all we love the surprise of finding out, "What yummy creations will we cook this week?"”

“Recipes are good and ingredients are fresh. Would be nice if chilled and non-chilled items were better separated - we have had rice, couscous, etc, packets saturated with condensation.”

“Having been a customer of My Food Bag for many years, it does simplify my life no end. But I have noticed the portion sizes are getting smaller. We are a family of 5 with three girls aged 13, 11 and 9yrs and we are not huge eaters. Would be good to see more generous portions.”

Hi Karen, Firstly, thanks so much for taking the time to give us some feedback - we appreciate hearing your comments and suggestions to be able to improve our service. Secondly, thank you for being such a loyal My Food Bag Foodie! It's fantastic to hear you've been using our service for a long time. I'm really sorry to hear that the portion size of our meals hasn't been enough for your family. The Family Bag is designed for 2 adults and 2-3 kids, but don't really define what 'kids' are - so we can certainly be clearer, whilst it is subjective! Our team suggests 'kids' are really up to 10 years of age, but we definitely could specify this and be clearer to avoid a similar instance occurring. Please accept my apologies that we haven't clearly communicated this. May I suggest reviewing the Classic Bag options or the Bargain Box Regular 5 options to better fill your family's tummies? This has been really valuable feedback we can make improvements on, so thank you for taking the time to complete this review for us! Thanks again for being a wonderful Foodie! Cheers, Casey Cocoa

“It's just so great to walk in the door after a day at work, pull a recipe out of my folder and then see what we will be having for tea. There is no time wasted trying to think up something exciting for dinner - food bag gives me that. It's nice knowing I have everything I need to make not only a yummy but healthy dinner.”

“I love the food and recipes and the fact that they are so healthy. It's really helped me and my partner get out of a rut of too much eating out, takeouts and quick but unhealthy meals. I have had a few issues with missing items, which is not so great. An improvement I would like to see is a bit of a breakdown on what is in the sachets that come with meals so I can replicate the ones I really like properly.”

“We totally enjoy the delicious recipes in my food bag, it has taught us to be a much better cooks and we now eat far more healthy and nutritious meals. We really like the way our meals are planned and we do not have to think what to cook for tea. We would totally recommend my food bag to other people as it makes life so much easier when the shopping and meal plan is already done for you every week.”

“Love our My Food Bag - never disappoints, I love switching my brain off and cooking a meal for the family. Fresh food, great recipes, no hassle or last minute supermarket missions for forgotten ingredients. Surprisingly we spend less $$ on food and no left over rotten veggies hiding in the fridge. Life changing stuff!!”

“I feel like the quality of the fruit and vege has been dropping recently. I was also not pleased with the quality of the minced beef as it was very fatty. I would never buy that grade myself.”

“Delivered to the door. Lovely fresh meat and fish. Vegetables are great and some of the meals we have had lately are really tasty. If something in the box the family cant eat it is easy to change it for something else. My family don't like onions or tomatoes but we work around this. Now that it is better weather my husband has been cooking the meat on his new BBQ and it is really tender and it makes the dog go mad as mum is in the kitchen get thing ready and Dad is on the BBQ she does not know were to go as she loves the food bag as well and gets a small dish of a few vegetables and meat every meal, Yes we love it”

“My Food Bag has been a life saver! I no longer have a daily battle with my kids as to what we are having for dinner. They get to choose 1 of 5 recipe cards as that is what our options are!! I love not having to think about what to cook, and then go to the grocery store where I would usually end up buying more that just ingredients for dinner. The stress of meal times is no more! As an added bonus, the younger two are more adventurous with their eating, and the easy step recipes mean the teenagers can help by making a meal from start to finish. Five stars from us!!”
