“Great meals, high quality ingredients and something a bit different and tasty every week. ' A bit priceier than other comeptitors but I believe you're paying for more flavours and different types of meals.”

“The recipes are easy to use and are lovely and tasty, ingredients mainly super fresh, although sometimes the salad greens are looking like they need using immediately. My main concern is the plastic packaging involved. I have a lot of guilt about using this product when it creates additional packaging of very small items.”

“Really enjoying fresh start for our family. It helps take the stress out of shopping and meal planning, especially with the price of vegetables at the supermarket. Customer service is also really prompt and helpful when anything isn't quite up to standard too, which is great.”

“Plant Power!! Proving very successful, eating alot more variety and even the carnivore in the family is enjoying meat free options. Plenty of food too, have leftover meals and leftover ingredients for use in other meals we have. Big variety on menu and only a couple of meh meals. Well done My Food Bag, would highly recommend.”

“I like my food bag but the last few have had things missing this last one was Chkn recipe l had too look up on the net and they pack rice and dry with wet begs”

“We are enjoying My Food Bag after a long stint with Hello Fresh. Love that the ingredients are locally sourced. Only thing stopping my review from a 5 star is the short timeframe tin which the meat has to be eaten, We get our delivery on a Sunday and they meals have to be eaten by Wednesday.”

Hey Lyree, thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you're enjoying My Food Bag and appreciate the locally sourced ingredients. We can completely understand your concerns in regard to the expiry date. The reason the meat and fish have slightly shorter expiry dates is because they are vacuum sealed without any added preservatives, before being packed into your delivery each week. For meals destined for later in the week, i.e. Thursday or Friday, pop the meat in the freezer upon receiving your delivery, then get it out the morning prior to eating. “Overall we’re really pleased with how much easier MFB makes home life for our busy family. Sometimes the way the items are packed is disappointing with heavy items on top of delicate lettuce bag for example. But still great overall.”

“Very convenient, reasonably priced meal box service. Recipes are simple and family friendly. For myself, a 4 year old and 7 year old, a box for 4 people can usually feed us for 2 meals.”

“I have tried a few different meal boxes, and Bargain Box is by far my favourite. Reasonably priced and even though there are fewer weekly recipes to choose from than some others, the recipes are a lot more varied. Easy to follow recipes, fresh ingredients, and flavourful!”

“The convenience of My Food Bag meals is awesome. 4 nights a week I know I've got delicious and nutritious meals sorted, usually in less than 45 mins. I love the fact that there is no food waste as well!”

“I have been loving the recipes and convenience of the service, however found some issues with the quality of the vegetables, missing recipe cards and found that the ice packs are completely melted by the time of the delivery leaving everything dripping wet. I am hoping it doesnt continue this way, as we love the idea of the service. (I note that your follow up question doesnt provide an option of responses between 12 hours and over a week. The responses have been around four days later approx).”
