“My Food Bag is nutritionally sound and always palatable. The variety MFB has added to our methods and techniques with its array of interesting spices, toppings and cooking methods is remarkable. I am so happy to be able to promote MFB anytime people ask me, "What's My Food Bag like?". It's truly a success and one we enjoy each week. i look forward to unpacking my beautiful box on Monday mornings and I'm always amazed by the freshness and the clever packing of so many different food items. The freshness and quality of the meat, fish and chicken is much better than we can buy at our local supermarkets. Its worth buying MFB for that freshness and tenderness alone!”

“When we got Hello Fresh, each meal came delivered with the ingredients separated into individual paper bags. It would be nice if you did this so that I don't have to go ever each recipe card and separate the ingredients myself. As for the meals themselves, some are a bit 'meh', especially the lack of creativity with salads - eg lettuce and cucumber with a bit of olive oil is a bit lacking. And also the pies I feel cheated on - having only a pastry on top of the ingredients isn't really what NZ calls a pie. We expect the filling to be fully encased in the pastry! These meals end up not being filling enough. This is especially for the desserts, such as the apple and pear crumble. $12 or whatever it was for a couple of apples and pears and some crumble mix was a rip off. I expected pastry for the bottom, topped with crumble. Because that's what an apple crumble is, every time I've had it...”

“The products are fresh the recipes very delicious. I like the variety and use of different spice and herb varieties. It's always enough we often have a little leftover for the next day. No food waste,just lots of individual packaging.But at least its all recyclable. Highly recommend it.Takes a lot of pressure of me in terms of what to cook, what to shop etc. We love it!!!!”

“The gluten free food bag is awesome the meals are quick, easy and super tasty. Family don’t realise it’s gf which is a bonus as we only have 1 coeliac but all eat the same meals. Only downside is there’s only 2 of us so we freeze extra meals to use later.”

“I have used other food bags and My Food Bag is by far the best out of the lot. The meat is fresh and delicious, veges are fresh and not rotting and the recipe is easy to follow. And I get bonus surprises after 4 continuous boxes ordered. Will continue to purchase these boxes.”

“I'd always thought ordering food in was an extravagance. When my daughter went flatting I decided to get Healthy Start delivered. I have had meals for 10 weeks now and can't rave about it enough! The recipes are easy to follow, the meals are delicious, nutritious and there is plenty of variety. Meal planning is no longer an issue and supermarket visits are fortnightly for lunch or breakfast food. As well as the above I'm grateful for the ease of My Food Bag.”

“Serving sizes are sometimes on the small side (especially if it were 4 adults). Sometimes it feels like it's always the same ingredients so a bit more variety would be good. Great not to have to think as much”

“The recipes are easy to follow, and usually pretty yummy. we get the four person (there is only two of us, but we use the left overs for lunch) We find the portions pretty small. Would be good to see more tempeh rather than tofu every week. But has made our life so much easier and opened us up to much more flavours, we have been vegan for two years, and it’s great to see companies like this accommodating to us!”

“I joined My Food Bag Fresh Start to get back into the groove of healthy eating. I has made a massive difference in my life. I am now eating better and back enjoying food again. The meals are so quick and easy to prepare and cook and now I have tried so many new things and I am finding new ways to enjoy food more. Also I am thrilled to tell you my hubby is eating more and more of the meals I prepare and so has developed a more healthy attitude to food. One of the best things is not having to worry about what I am having for tea and that does take the stress and worry about eating healthy and well, so thank you. We are both loving My Food Bag and will keep getting it.”

“Love the Bargain Box. Awesome choice of meals. Great quality of produce. Feels like eating out in a restaurant every night but we cook it ourselves. Recipe's are easy to follow so each member of the family can have a turn at cooking. There is enough food for us all to eat. Thoroughly recommend the Bargain Box.”

“We haven't had a meal we haven't enjoyed yet. Really impressed with the high quality of ingredients My Food Bag provides. WOuld love it if there was more felxibility within orders (e.g being able to order some meals for 2 people and some for 4 people within the same weeks order)”
